I went to my 21 scan yesterday and they told me that while everything before was good now the NT showed that my beby could have down syndrome. They give me the appointment in 9 days as they told me that there is no doctor for that department!!!! Today after feeling sick because I was too agitated after what they told me, I explain to the Staff that I had a CD which had a report from a private doctor of just 10 days ago and something must of been a mistake. Staff stolen my CD from the private doctor. Than after I ask them many times to please give to me they were saying they could not find it, I got very stressed and agitated again and i started to loose blood from my nose, instead of help me they called the security and one of the older lady was been sarcastic. The security tried to mediate and ask the Staff about the CD as they understood my situation. Avoid to all cost, I never leave a review but if you are pregnant you do not want this experience!!!!

My wife is high risk pregnancy. She has had a miscarriage at 22 weeks and at 5 weeks. We are both 45 years old. You would think this would command special attention and care with her 3rd pregnancy. What she got was incompitancy , non caring, arrogant rudeness from all levels of staff. This is the list: 1) She was told she had Lupas when she did'nt. (Nurse) 2) Doctor who did scan was heavy handed on her stomach leaving her bruised and in pain. He wrote in our report my wife had restricted blood supply to placenta. So when we got home and read this we were very worried and confused. We rang the hospital and asked to speak to the doctor . He wasnt available. Later on he called and appolagised for his mistake. The scan was normal. 3) letters where sent to the wrong address after we moved and made sure the hospital was aware of the new address. This made us miss many appointments. No thought to contact us to find out why. I contacted the midwife many times , but no one answered the phone or replied to my messages. We didnt see a midwife until my wife was 5 months. The midwife promised to contact the obstitrition and call us back to make an appointment for our first obs appointment. She didnt. 4) My wife is 33 weeks and just had her first obstitrition appointment. Bare in mind she is high risk and was told because of her age and history she would need to be seen regulary by a specialist from 8 weeks. 5) midwife Sahera shouted at my wife in a very rude way , she said she was too busy to take her urine sample , which left us both shocked. This was the last straw. We have now decided to move to another hospital. UCLH ANTENATAL DO NOT DESERVE ANY STARS. LONG CUES , RUDE STAFF, UNORGANISED, LACK OF COMMUNICTION AND BAD PEOPLE SKILLS. IF YOU CANT HANDLE YOUR JOB . MOVE ON AND LET SOMEONE ELSE WHO ENJOYS THERE JOB DO IT.

This place has become overwhelmed by patients. Waiting times can be 7 hours. Dangerous if you are pregnant with issues. They are also very dismissive of symptoms- if you are trying to prevent premature birth, do not go here. I never post reviews but this has to be said as it can be a matter of life and death

The staff at the reception is really bad and disengaged, but, after a long while waiting, the doctor who saw my wife was really good, professional, clear and super attentive.
