Went there back in July to se Dr Rao Archana. I have private healthcare but the Dr should send a report to my healthcare to pay for the service. They are not sending the report and they keep harassment me to pay the bill. Dr Rao, if you keep failing to send the report please don't ask me to pay the bill. I don't recommend anyone to go there, just choose another practise.

When i had my cystoscopy over a year ago, I waited for 7 hours before i could be discharged from the ward. There was a total lack management and organisation. My follow up appointment was arranged for 6 months later. I never saw the consultant who had performed the procedure. I saw different doctors each time i had an appointment. This policy results in your treatment being inconsistent as the doctors have no time to acquaint themselves with your condition. Now they cancelled my appointment just 2 days before it was due and after they bombarded me with reminders to attend. I would not recommend this hospital.

Fantastic Modern Hospital in the heart of London. This Hospital must have the best views in the whole of the UK. I was sitting in a waiting room overlooking the River Thames opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, it was a wonderful sunny crisp winters morning watching the boats go by. The facilities and staff are amazing, they were so kind and thoughtful, they just couldn't do enough for me, even though they are underpaid and over worked. I will be choosing this hospital every time, Thank you St Thomas'. If you like this review, can you please click the like symbol below. Thank you!

As a local Tommy’s born-baby local resident and former patient I have nothing but praise for this World’s leading top-teaching institution and the caring professionalism in it’s staff. They really do a amazing job with limited resources. I heart the NHS(the heart of the community:)!

I was with my uncle who fell from the stairs we were 2 hours waiting a doctor named Carlos said that my uncle had a broken wrist and that he needed an operation. They put a plaster to him in a wrong way. They said that they will call my uncle the following day for the operation, they never did so I came back with my uncle and another doctor said that no one informed about my uncle and Actually he had a dialocated bone not a broken wrist. I decided to solve the problem in a different hospital because of unprofessional staff. There was only one good doctor.

Great hospital and very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Great place to deliver baby. Now... DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR OTHER THERE. The hospital parking is a TOTAL RIP OFF. A shocking £100 for 1day and 4hours!!! You will be better off if you leave your car on residential streets around the corner and pay 60 quid for parking fine.

The NHS really is a phenomenal service despite the bad rap it gets. St Thomas have a brilliant dental practice which is one of the last that offer certain dental services fully covered. It may be a bit of a travel to get there but if your GP can refer you it's worth the trip. It's a little bit tucked away behind London Bridge station but they will get you sorted.

Belated but I wanted to review MUMS for their great care and accuracy. I had very early pregnancy scans as I have PCOS and didn’t want to wait until NHS first scan to find out how many weeks pregnant I was. I had scans at 4,6 and 12 weeks, which is amazing because I have clear pictures and videos of my son from when he was just a sac, to the tiniest little bean with a heartbeat, to a tiny little baby with a head, arms and legs, to a fully formed baby at his gender scan! They were very professional and informative at each scan about the process of embryo to fetus and the room was clean, warm and relaxing. They set my due date as 27/12/17 which the hospital later changed to 22/12/17 but sure enough I went into labor on the exact date that MUMS had given me and had my healthy baby boy in the early hours of the 28th December 2017. I’d definitely recommend and also visit MUMS again for scans in the future!

My husband and I decided to go private for the birth of our second child following an unpleasant experience with the NHS with our first. Mike Wyldes / MUMS Clinic was recommended to us by our GP. We paid £9,000 for an elective C-section and an additional £320 for each ultra-sound scan. Initially the service we received was very good however, it started to decline at 37 weeks when we was alerted to the fact that Mike would be overseas towards the end of term which naturally caused panic and alarm. It then became very clear that the date and time of the C-section had been orchestrated to fit around Mike’s holiday. I did go into spontaneous labour whilst Mike was overseas. Mike did text my husband to say he would visit us in hospital the following day only then to send a further text within minutes to say he would not be returning to the UK the next day as planned. Astonishingly there has been no further contact or aftercare with Mike or MUMS following the birth of our son. We did receive a full refund. Based on our own personal experience, we would not recommend MUMS and we have no desire to use their services again. Fortunately we did receive an exceptional experience with the NHS this time round which has restored our faith in the NHS, and has made us aware that private medical care is not always the best and you don’t always get what you pay for!

Actual experience great - nice clinic, introduction good. But aftercare appalling. Had ordered a NIPT. Says 7-10 days but I had to chase them on day 10 and then 11. The delay made us really worried there was something wrong with our baby. Eventually got results on day 13. I then wrote an email but they couldn’t even be bothered to reply. Gives the impression that they take your money and couldn’t care less about you after that point. Awful customer service. Will not return and won’t be recommending to anyone.

Shockingly bad Appointments department who make errors after error with ineffective Management and Admin support plus totally useless complaints procedure. The real stars of the hospitals - Dr's and Nurses's jobs are being made much harder, due to many low calibre, overpaid admin and Management staff who are doing work they simply are not able to do professionally, which is no doubt costing the NHS millions in wasted time and money. This whole Hospital needs a complete overhaul to make these anonymous backroom people accountable given that it is the publics money who pay their wages. A three to four day week is the norm for admin staff here who should really be at their desks given the demand on the NHS ! Someone in charge of the NHS needs to seriously look into this womans Hospital and get rid of the dead wood and start spring cleaning asap !

I gave birth to my first baby on the labour ward here in 2016, and a few days ago to my second in the birth centre. I received excellent care both times, but felt particularly lucky to have experienced the care of the birth centre team. We couldn't be more grateful to them.

The NHS system does not allow negative reviews to not lower their reting, I write here the truth of my second birth The worst experience of my life at BC. I wanted to thank: the head of the birth option of BC S. B. for listening to me, it happens, for apologizing even if it was not her fault and having directly updated my medicals after the first birth reflection on October 23rd; and A. P. , responsible for the complaints, for updating my medical records as the only competent person after the second birth reflection. I advise no one to give birth to either the BC or the Queen Charlotte labour ward. At the BC they force you to give birth without an epidural, the midwives can make you the labor sweep activated without explaining that the consequences are pains like induced labor. Also being very busy, it can happen as in my case, in which the midwife S. S., has written back my medical records because 'too busy', omitting and writing things not corresponding to the truth, then they were corrected by its managers. After my negative review on the NHS, for what they allowed me to publish, at least they apologized, the least they could do. No excuse from the midwife who wrongly wrote my medical records, shame! I trust in divine justice for those who hurt me! God sees and provides!

Awful and unprofessional service. I went in for an emergency check up in the evening and had to wait for 4 long hours while sitting on a chair with no sympathy from staff. 24 weeks pregnant and suffering from bleeding and back pain. No support whatsoever or medical aid. They took a urine sample and was asked to wait in the waiting area. I was under so much stress not knowing if baby is ok or not. They were more keen to finish off paper work and admin work in the office rather than seeing and taking care of patients. Some pregnant women were given the luxury to wait in air conditioned rooms whereas they asked me to wait on a chair in the corridors. They almost forgot about me so I had to remind them every now and then that I was waiting outside. I have also suffered from a miscarriage in the past so there was a high risk of another miscarriage but they were absolutely careless and neglected me. When I asked why I was not provided the minimum care expected as everyone else, the midwife told me there were no beds available for me. I told her you could have informed me of the long wait for me to arrange visit to another emergency service but her answer was we are not getting anywhere with the conversation... it seems that they get away with mistreating and abusing patients. There was a lady who came before me she was given a bed and I was still waiting outside... they failed to do the basics. I have discharged myself after waiting for 4 hours. They did not even ask if I need painkillers to help me cope with my back pain. I went hospital at 8:30 pm and left hospital at 12 am without seeing a doctor. I discharged myself due to the increased back pain. This made me even more anxious and upset. They told me I have 2 patients ahead of me at 11:45 ?? So they still expected me to wait for another hour waiting. I will be making a formal complaint but will never return to this hospital again. I was maltreated and left hospital physically and emotionally distressed without seeing a doctor after waiting for 4 hours. Just appalling.

Delivered my baby at this hospital in June 2018. Very poor care, cold useless staff. Lazy and do minimal work. Do not listen to your needs and just keep walking off ignoring you. Delivered my baby without any help. Was left in a room with my husband calling for help in agony for over an hour. When someone finally took notice of the pain I was in I had already delivered the head.. This is just a small insight into what they put me through. I'm traumatized. Thank god myself and baby where ok, No thanks to them. I have made a formal complaint and have been told they are investigating. I will not let this go, as I feel they actually put myself and baby in danger. Whoever else has been in this situation I advise you to make a formal complaint. They can not get away with putting people they are supposed to be caring for at risk. I would Honestly NEVER even consider returning to this hospital.

I was unfortunate enough to be referred to the Gynaecology team in that place. Waited for 2.5 hrs without being given any updates on if there's a delay and how long it is. At all time there were 4-5 nurses at the reception drinking tea and having no concerns about the waiting patients. FINALLY I was called in.....by a lady which after asking me few somehow stupid questions admitted that she cannot really answer my question due to being a JUNIOR doctor......now the shocker...she has to call in her senior! And again I start with my diagnosis, treatment options etc to be asked why I don't try other options such as medication (which I've been on and is red flagged on my file due to extremely unpleasant effect) instead of invasive operation. To sum it up....NHS sucks and I cannot wait to be privatized.

Had a reassurance scan at The Birth Company after a light bleed. Managed to get an appointment that day and saw Mr Gibb - he was very thorough and explained where it had come from, which was a huge relief. All measurements taken and lots of helpful information. Even though I wasn't there for photos, managed to get a lovely video of baby sucking its thumb. I also had my early scan here and again, was very pleased and reassured. Very professional and would not hesitate to book again. Thank you!

Most of the photos and videos are a little blurred. Did not find one photo which is able to see baby's whole face. Thank you for the follow-up. There are definitely a couple of better photos in the third link. As such, you guys deserve a good rating.

I went for a wellbeing scan and had a great experience. Dr. Gibb was quite through during the scan and when the initial measurements of the baby's head were on the higher end of the scale, he took the time to consult the previous scan history and performed the measurements again which were in line with expectations. An email with link to a few pictures and videos from the scan were sent immediately as well. The appointment booking process online was straightforward and the staff were professional and courteous.

Terrible reception staff. Quite unhelpful and rude. A terrible first impression. Very unprofessional, did nothing to assess needs and seemed to judge whether you were high risk or not based on your voice. Very strange. Much better service from the NHS.

This was the worst experience of my life. I went for the initial Harmony Test appointment to give blood and didn’t realise that at that time I would have a scan too so didn’t bring my husband. The sonographer offered a scan and I thought ‘why not’. When she did the belly scan and couldn’t see anything, she did an internal scan - I was starting to feel anxious at this point. When it was clear that there was no heartbeat and the baby was grossly undersized, the lady turned the screen to me and pointed to something the size of a grain of rice and said ‘that’s your baby’. She just didn’t get it - that my heart was broken and my baby dead. I was crying and she gave me a box of tissues and walked out of the room. I was then ‘transferred’ to a windowless vault to cry by myself - to say that there was no empathy would be a gross understatement. At my call, my husband arrived soon after and the receptionist said I’d already left when I hadn’t. He said I must be here so they came to look for me, forgotten in my vault. When he was finally brought to me, we left together, but not before the receptionist had rudely asked for the £100 owed. In comparison to the warmth and sympathy I’ve experienced since at the NHS, this was a cold, heartless, sterile place. I’m sure if people have good news there, they would think it’s great. But given the high chance of bad news, don’t risk it and go somewhere where the people who work there care about you and your baby.

The Professor and his team at The Fetal Medicine Centre offered my wife a great service with the extensive scans they provide. We had three scans at the clinic. The doctor provided a report for our NHS consultant. The Professors knowledge in the field is absolutely amazing. If people ever require evidence on his work just read one of his 1600 published papers or watch one of his documentaries. The Professor has truly devoted his life to fetal medicine.

As a patient of the dressings clinic of the burns unit I was in continuous extreme pain.Although this was logged on a 1 to 10 scale there was no interface with any pain consultant. The nurses managed to show almost no empathy and the medical supervision seemed almost invisible.Although the trust Pals team were wholly supportive and encouraged a complaint nothing happened as a result of this.If a Pals team has little or no power it usually is very bad news for the patient.Getting hospital transport in virtually impossible although I was on crutches.Three letters to the Chief Executive eventually sorted the matter out.As a carer and carer governor (elsewhere) I have decades of experience at the hard end and this was just about the most negative experience of the NHS to date. The clinical lead was of no help and my local pain clinic immediately saw the seriousness of my situation and gave all possible help. The dressings clinic staff need empathy training and pain control issues need to be embedded within a training module. The service needs to be joined up with psychological input in place and patients need to be given access to detailed information about negative outcomes.

Extremely competent, polite and helpful, even at 3am! I showed up with a screaming pain in the neck and a fever so they thoroughly did blood test and were able to discard worst case scenarios like meningitis. At that point even with the horrible pain I was feeling embarrassed to disturb them for a neck spasm or something similar, but they told me I did the right thing coming in, gave me treatment for the symptoms, all of that in the middle of the night and with a smile. Huge sympathy for those guys working crazy hours for our health! Thank you again

I cannot thank Ms Otigbah and Tony enough for everything they've done for me and my family. I started seeing Ms Otigbah at the Oaks clinic as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I had all my scans and tests there and she delivered my baby boy at Queens hospital as well as look after me postnatally. My husband and I will be forever grateful for such an amazing service. Ms Otigbah is very professional and so competent at her job I can't praise her enough.

Dr Otigbah and her team provided superb, professional and personal care throughout our pregnancy and at delivery. As this was our first baby we had a lot of questions and the doctor took the time to answer them, which meant that we felt well informed thought the process. Furthermore, the flexible working hours of the clinic allowed my husband to attend all antenatal appointments. Choosing the antenatal care and delivery package meant that we saw Dr Otigbah from the first weeks of pregnancy to delivery. This helped us in hospital as Dr Otigbah knew our preferences and how to best communicate with us which significantly reduced stress at that very exciting but also scary time of giving birth. I cannot recommend this clinic enough!

My wife visited here for surgery and generally got a very good experience. When reading reviews I notice that most reviews complain about the “service” as if you are in a restaurant rather than the quality of care. In our experience this was a good hospital. We experienced knowledgeable consultants that make time to see you.

I’m not one for leaving reviews, but I feel I have to in this instance. We had our baby at this hospital after viewing most private hospitals and bought into the brand. We found out the hard way that this hospital is the total opposite of what we thought. I can’t say much more as my wife doesn’t want me to, but I will say there was major negligence from the hospital and please rethink putting your life and baby’s life in their hands.

It is a far cry from what a private hospital should be like. They forgot they are private and we paid for our newborn son to be treated there. We have filed a complaint with the management team but NO ONE bothered to respond. We got an email saying it was their mistake but it didn’t include a single apology. They think they are above the law. I find it a dangerous place where they first try to put the blame on you, for a mistake they made. Happily launched into legal action threats and bullying, even when we had a proof the mistake was on their part. When it was finished and they finally acknowledged that we were right all along, none of the people who harassed us said “sorry”. They treated us with so much incompetence and disrespect. I would never trust them with my son’s life. If you think you will be better off here than anywhere else - think twice. This is horribly run place and you will not get a good care. There are many better private hospitals in London where you will actually get outstanding care. Not here - the patient is not important to these people.

I went to the hospital to visit Dr Julie Price in February. I got charged over £700 for her talking to me 2x 8 min. She didn't touch me, she didn't examine me, she just sat behind her desk talking but saying nothing. Be very careful when you go private. My friend went to her 5 years ago and was happy with her. Paying almost £1000 and not even being examined truly hurts.

I took my partner in for a reassurance scan at 21 weeks. The sonographer stated that the placenta was high up near the fundus and therefore in a good position. This surprised us since the 19 week scan we'd had at a hospital indicated the placenta was very low lying and near the cervix. We had another scan at 28 weeks at the same hospital and it again confirmed that the placenta was low. The placenta obviously can't move around like that so the sonographer at WWC was clearly incompetent. Amazing that she could make such a basic eroor on such an important issue!

I took my daughters to see Dr Ovaici to get the chickenpox vaccine. She was amazing with the children yet maintaining a professional decorum. The children enjoyed their experience. She gets a big 5 stars from us.

Really good service. Everyone is really polite and professional. It's infinitely better than the service you get from the NHS. If you can afford it, don't think twice. Dr Gubby Ayida is wonderful and so is their sonographer Rhiannon.

My wife and I are really fond of the Women's Wellness Centre and would highly recommend it to any prospective parents. Our consultant, Ms Ayida was truly amazing and her PA Julie was sweet and very well organised, as were the receptionists. All the sonographers were also extremely professional, and warm and likeable. So all in all five stars.

I had an ultrasound to show my family members and found the staff at the clinic to be so friendly, and welcoming. I was seen on time and it wasn't rushed at all. Great experience for expecting mums

We have just finished Joan Mill's Hypnobirthing course at the Verulam clinic and now feel so calm and prepared for the birth of our baby. The sessions are very informative and detailed, yet relaxed and not rushed. We felt able to ask questions and talk through any concerns in a safe and friendly environment. I love that the focus is on empowering the women and trusting in your body, plus how your partner can support and help you, so that you work together in a trusting partnership. We can’t thank you enough Joan!
