I went to Bupa Cromwell got a blood test and other test done. I went to the shop Phlebotomy department and it was the best blood test ever done by a woman called Alex. Normally I faint and vomit but this is the first time where I felt nothing it was so easy. I reccommend Alex to do your blood test, the blood test was the best ever.

Good doctors and nurses, maybe, however, stay away from sleep studies and so-called “sleep lab”(!). The most incompetent and unprofessional service you would ever get at this hospital. Avoid sleep studies / sleep lab in this hospital. The hospital will be sure to charge you £2.4k in return for the worst service imaginable. More specifically, the sleep-lab-physiologist/technician is probably the most incompetent and -to say the least- recklessly unprofessional hospital personnel I’ve ever encountered. I was in utter dismay, thinking to myself, this can’t be a hospital! So, in a nutshell, Avoid this place! However, one must say, we were lucky to have the understanding support of the nurses of the neurological unit (gratitude goes to them) in effort to try and remedy the reckless absence of the single sleep-lab-physiologist/ technician responsible, who decided to go home and not answer the phone in spite of an ongoing sleep study that night in the hospital. Utterly unacceptable hospital service! Better turn it into a hotel or, more befitting, a hostel! Sent from my iPhone

You have to be White with insurance or Arab to get treated nicely, the GP that I went to a few times was very reluctant in caring and advising any further examination, it’s like I had to push him for what was needed. Instead of paying attention to details of my illness and proceeding with any tests necessary he was trying to gauge my wealth and judge me. And when I did the tests, he couldn’t even bother to give me a call to discuss the results but he sure likes to charge 150 pounds for 10 mins consultations which consists of asking completely unrelated questions. When I come up to a hospital like this and don’t have insurance it means that I can/am willing to pay for whatever is need, up to my capability.

I love this hospital, the waiting rooms aren't actually boring and the doctor I have is super nice. There's a cafe nearby that you can quickly pop to while waiting and it's a nice atmosphere.

Spent the day here and found that it was well organised, departments communicated and used common sense with regards the needs of the patient. I had some training with a nurse who was fantastic at explaining everything step by step and answered all the questions I had wanted to ask. Facilities were great , toilets, restaurants shops, lots of children’s play areas, WiFi, TVs and lovely staff to top it all.

Awful and unprofessional service. I went in for an emergency check up in the evening and had to wait for 4 long hours while sitting on a chair with no sympathy from staff. 24 weeks pregnant and suffering from bleeding and back pain. No support whatsoever or medical aid. They took a urine sample and was asked to wait in the waiting area. I was under so much stress not knowing if baby is ok or not. They were more keen to finish off paper work and admin work in the office rather than seeing and taking care of patients. Some pregnant women were given the luxury to wait in air conditioned rooms whereas they asked me to wait on a chair in the corridors. They almost forgot about me so I had to remind them every now and then that I was waiting outside. I have also suffered from a miscarriage in the past so there was a high risk of another miscarriage but they were absolutely careless and neglected me. When I asked why I was not provided the minimum care expected as everyone else, the midwife told me there were no beds available for me. I told her you could have informed me of the long wait for me to arrange visit to another emergency service but her answer was we are not getting anywhere with the conversation... it seems that they get away with mistreating and abusing patients. There was a lady who came before me she was given a bed and I was still waiting outside... they failed to do the basics. I have discharged myself after waiting for 4 hours. They did not even ask if I need painkillers to help me cope with my back pain. I went hospital at 8:30 pm and left hospital at 12 am without seeing a doctor. I discharged myself due to the increased back pain. This made me even more anxious and upset. They told me I have 2 patients ahead of me at 11:45 ?? So they still expected me to wait for another hour waiting. I will be making a formal complaint but will never return to this hospital again. I was maltreated and left hospital physically and emotionally distressed without seeing a doctor after waiting for 4 hours. Just appalling.

Delivered my baby at this hospital in June 2018. Very poor care, cold useless staff. Lazy and do minimal work. Do not listen to your needs and just keep walking off ignoring you. Delivered my baby without any help. Was left in a room with my husband calling for help in agony for over an hour. When someone finally took notice of the pain I was in I had already delivered the head.. This is just a small insight into what they put me through. I'm traumatized. Thank god myself and baby where ok, No thanks to them. I have made a formal complaint and have been told they are investigating. I will not let this go, as I feel they actually put myself and baby in danger. Whoever else has been in this situation I advise you to make a formal complaint. They can not get away with putting people they are supposed to be caring for at risk. I would Honestly NEVER even consider returning to this hospital.

I was unfortunate enough to be referred to the Gynaecology team in that place. Waited for 2.5 hrs without being given any updates on if there's a delay and how long it is. At all time there were 4-5 nurses at the reception drinking tea and having no concerns about the waiting patients. FINALLY I was called in.....by a lady which after asking me few somehow stupid questions admitted that she cannot really answer my question due to being a JUNIOR doctor......now the shocker...she has to call in her senior! And again I start with my diagnosis, treatment options etc to be asked why I don't try other options such as medication (which I've been on and is red flagged on my file due to extremely unpleasant effect) instead of invasive operation. To sum it up....NHS sucks and I cannot wait to be privatized.

My sister was induced into labour although the baby was not ready to come. She was in pain for hours before someone realised the baby was too high and ended up with cesarean. Poor care, unexperienced doctors and unprofessional staff.

Apart from epu unit and one specific doctor at labour ward and her team the rest do their duties as follows. Lost of blood results by antenatal under 16 weeks checks. While taking blood the lead nurse toke the bar code and promised that she will follow it from her own diary. Consultant at antenatal not checking urine or blood pressure which has resulted in urine infection found two days later in triage and just copying and pasting from triage records the old blood pressure data which were two or three days old. Most common comments used “very anxious couple” Consultant using fone while conducting the antenatal clinics and rushing ,to pick up her kid from School which is understandable but not at cost of some one else kid or health. I have reported it ward manager, and since that she has been taking it personal. She has sent the letter to local council child’s protection about the fathers behaviour, it was only when I have logged a complaint against her in chief executive office but I think the words were shared with her instead being independently reviewed so not trust worthy I do not know do I have to go GENERAL MEDICAL COUNCIL and report this consultant to them. Triage staff using NHS computer for shopping online, at night sleeping at patient beds and telling us over the phone there is long wait time not want you to bother her sleep while there was no one the ward. Upon arrival found her sleeping came to open door after few rings of wards With low movement at week 25 went there she put the CTG machine heard as week 35 luckily it was not harmful. Though the notes were handed over to her upon arrival, did not bothered to read or take note of what is state. Triage staff recording the result of 157 which show very high volumes as 15 which is very low confirmed by second visit from antenatal to triage,it was a very important test. Unnecessary induction was suggested at week 36 visit, which has resulted mental distraction on my wife and movement Reduction even before the suggested date caused really Painful delivery , At labour after losing 900 ml of blood the blood taken for test were lost at the machine taking blood from one ward to another for testing twice. The most important things is the post natal wards where all professional and knowledgeable midwives are assigned to paid rooms, I had only noticed it when my kids was discharged without the checking the jaundice or temperature, questioned that we were given a nurse from paid ward for two hours you could see the difference. The kid Had to stay two more days despite being discharged by the unprofessional nurse without checking anything. To support the above follow the BBC article where it has been claimed that maternity unit makes 400 errors daily.

The GP service was able to provide us a same day appointment in the morning for my sick son. The practise was even able to accommodate that i ran late by 10 minutes. The consultation was as accurate and professional as one would expect from a German GP. The place is easy to get to, and offers ample parking in the area. Certainly can recommend.

Considering it’s a private practice offering paediatric services their entrance is increadibly difficult to navigate with a pram. The reception sat and watched me struggle to get through the door. Their is also no lift, not that I am lazy but when you have a baby trekking to the top floor with a baby it’s tricky especially if your in on your own and had a c section. I was very surprised at the lack of cleanliness in the front reception the floor looks like it needs a good scrub. So I was surprised considering it’s private and expensive.

I brought my family to Richmond Practice but we were horrified to note the obvious uncleanliness of the whole practice, starting from the reception area, to the consulting rooms. We will never come back again and will not recommend to anyone of our friends and neighbours. It was also awkwardly difficult to get an appointment as there is only one paediatrician and no gynaecologist, and there is only one male GP despite my wife wished to be seen by a female one. I am still sincerely appalled at how this practice is allowed to offer health services in such a squalid and unclean environment.

I enquired about a vaccine for my one year old and asked about the potential side effects. I was told there were none. I think it’s misleading and incorrect to say there are no side effects of any vaccine. I would expect them to be better informed.

My son fell from a height while on holiday and we took him to this A and E. The care was exceptional. Within 10 minutes he had been seen by a consultant. Sister Jackie Lewis was very professional with an excellent patent manner. The consultant, Dr Mizra, was thorough and very calming. He was kept for observation for a couple of hours and the waiting are was celan and comfortable. Thank you team!

The Cardiac Unit are simply amazing. I had a heart attack on the 24th April and was admitted to the hospital. The team were welcoming and reassuring making sure I was kept informed at all times with what was going on and what will happen next. Very friendly. Reassuring and you could see the excellent team dynamics amongst the team members as they worked to ensure our well being. I will be forever grateful to the Consultant who did my Echo scan who came back to see me after dealing with an emergency to reassure me that fitness goals I had been working on CAN still happen and allowing me to talk about my fears and worries. Thank you to the whole team. You are Life Savers. !

I was admitted to to the CCU in October where I spent two and half weeks in the care of the most wonderful people on this planet. Without exception they were fantastic. I was made to feel safe and secure, my treatment was state of the art and my recovery and aftercare has been very successful thus far, I feel fitter than I have for 20 years. Don't let the Tory's destroy the NHS.

BEWARE THE NIGHT STAFF. Imagine you have had 2 back surgeries within a week, can't move your legs and can't control your bowels. My mums partner is currently going through this and has been treated awfully by the night staff. At 12:30 he wanted his nappy changed and was in pain called the bell. A nurse came so he told her what he wanted. She left and didn't come back. Haft hour later he called the bell again, a different nurse turned up so he told her what had happened and that he needed a blanket and a change. She left and didn't come back. An hour and a half later he called the bell again, yet AGAIN, the nurse left and didn't come back. At about 6:30 in the morning he called the bell again. The first nurse turned up said he wasn't aloud a blanket and left. Change of shift at 7 came by. He said he needs changing and finally the new staff listened. He has a wound on his back just above the full nappy. He was in a dirty happy filled with excrement for 7 HOURS. Would you leave a baby in a soiled nappy for 7 hours? I don't know whether this counts as medical neglegance but I will be seeking legal help. If I could give no stars I would.

So I’m 31 weeks pregnant and I have to do the 31 weeks visit. I’m Italian and I stay here just until November with my husband, we change town every week so we are not resident here in UK and I don’t have gp but they should me taken anyway... Well I called for 5 days! I also register my self to the web site! Today I stayed at the phone with the community midwife for more then 2 hours! Is from wensday that they just give me differents numbers to call because they said that without gp they can’t visit me! And that’s is impossible is 7 months that I do like this I never had this problem, it’s just ONE visit! And also I have a problem in the right size of the groin my veins are swollen and blue and I have pain, and they give me a number of a private doctor to call because they said that this problem is not from the pregnancy but it is!!!! Anyway I’ve tried to call and he said that he can not visit pregnant woman, so I call again the mid wife in the hospital and they said no he has to take you... So finally I start to cry because I was so so nervous 😟... They give me also a number from another midwife to call I’ve tried to call 4 times and nobody answer! It was a nightmare, I also finished my money at the phone 2 times for stayed at the line and waiting! That’s was just unbelievable, they said that if I have an emergency I can come and they visit me... Well now I have to go in London and do the 31 weeks visit with them, I have all documents and maternity notes... I explain everything but they just said no no no! Well that’s it, sorry for my English I’m Italian I hope that’s it’s clear, and THANKS TO THE COMUNITY MID WIFE FOR MAKING ME CRY AT 31 WEEKS OF PREGNANCY FOR One stupid visit, you didn’t help and you just wanted to get me out of the way. I have to give 1 star because I have no choice because my vote is 0 stars!!!!

I stayed on the Endoscopy ward under the care of Mr Stylianides. From arrival to departure I was looked after, with all staff going the extra mile. My consultant kept me informed every step of the way, he was a lovely caring and very professional man. I would like to say a massive thanks to Donna who looked after me on the ward, Nadir the lovely anaesthetist who made me feel at ease, Liz the lovely kind nurse who looked after me in recovery, Jessica from self pay who certainly went the extra mile to help and Emma, Mr Stylianides personal secretary for being professional and kind. All in all I would definitely recommend this wonderful hospital.

Shocking service.. Secretary never answered phone. Letter was littered with spelling mistakes and incorrect information relayed by the consultant. Was given diagnosis to one symptom with no investigations after a 5-10 minute appointment and this did not address or core issue and didn't even resolve the one symptom it related to. Not worth the money. Exceptionally disappointed and still 12 month on with no specific diagnosis.

My NHS GP recommended after four months of severe asthma symptoms I needed a chest x ray so I contacted my medical insurance who happily said I could go private - so off I went after making an appointment and informed the Edinburgh Clinic my insurance was paying - they took my authorisation details and the appointment was made. I arrived early and they informed me I had to pay as they had not heard of my Medical insurance provider and acted condescending when I produced a policy number - I informed the reception that I was told it was fine but of course I could not have the x ray unless I paid and yet two slones I overhead who had an invoice misplaced did not have to pay. I was ringing the medical insurers when I was escorted to the Imaging area and the radiographer pointed me into a small room to store my clothes and provided me with a gown. I sat in the waiting area and was taken in - ten seconds later it was over- not even taken back to reception - just left to put on my clothes and as this was the first time I made my way to reception where an invoice was produced. I felt less important because they only want real large preferred clients and not felt welcomed at all. There is a lack of care. Arrogant and condescending attitute - just go to GP Plus instead or the Spire. I will never go there again. If I wanted this lack of care I would have gone NHS.

Excellent customer service. Staff are professional and very helpful. They do care about the patients. I visited emergency once during pregnancy and once after - was interviewed by the same man - he was very helpful, seeing I have little baby with me asked me to wait in separated area not to expose the baby to all the germs in main waiting room. I also gave birth in this hospital and care I received in birthing centre then labour ward, following Simpson unit and postnatal was just the highest standard. I had complications during the labour but they made me feel safe and decreased my suffering to the very minimum. My husband was treated on several occasions in London's best private clinics but C&W was even better. I was very well looked after. Thank you all at C&W.

I went to the hospital to visit Dr Julie Price in February. I got charged over £700 for her talking to me 2x 8 min. She didn't touch me, she didn't examine me, she just sat behind her desk talking but saying nothing. Be very careful when you go private. My friend went to her 5 years ago and was happy with her. Paying almost £1000 and not even being examined truly hurts.

It is a far cry from what a private hospital should be like. They forgot they are private and we paid for our newborn son to be treated there. We have filed a complaint with the management team but NO ONE bothered to respond. We got an email saying it was their mistake but it didn’t include a single apology. They think they are above the law. I find it a dangerous place where they first try to put the blame on you, for a mistake they made. Happily launched into legal action threats and bullying, even when we had a proof the mistake was on their part. When it was finished and they finally acknowledged that we were right all along, none of the people who harassed us said “sorry”. They treated us with so much incompetence and disrespect. I would never trust them with my son’s life. If you think you will be better off here than anywhere else - think twice. This is horribly run place and you will not get a good care. There are many better private hospitals in London where you will actually get outstanding care. Not here - the patient is not important to these people.

I went there as an international patient for pregnancy follow up + having fit to fly letter. Booked via phone and explained my situation. Making appointment took around 30 mins phone call. When i arrived there they took me in 20 mins later than my app time. Dr A Arafa was absolutely disappointing. She asked me lots if private questions and she talked more about money and how we will pay rather than my and my baby's health. They informed me that the fee is £250 but the dr said app with fit to fly letter £300 + vat abd card charge. Unhappy with the dr and service. Definitely will not visit again.

Great hospital and very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Great place to deliver baby. Now... DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR OTHER THERE. The hospital parking is a TOTAL RIP OFF. A shocking £100 for 1day and 4hours!!! You will be better off if you leave your car on residential streets around the corner and pay 60 quid for parking fine.

St Thomas hospital is clean, the waiting room in A&E is air conditioned and has a TV and WiFi, the waiting times were not bad, the staff are friendly and professional, it’s easy to get around the building (despite its vast size). Glad to have this as my local hospital.

Officially the BEST hospital in London. Professional doctors and nurses who gave us their full care and attention. Cleanliness was 10/10, from the moment we walked in at the A&E, the doctor on duty immediately attended to us and listened to us patiently, the whole team on the 11.08.18 12.08.18 and 13.08.18 were fantastic, till the point we left..we were given the same service and were looked after during the 3 days we were there. Everything was flawless 😊 Thank you for looking after my husband and for helping him recover. #FantasticjobNHS #stthomashospital
