Amazing hospital from moment of booking .... plenty of communication with friendly staff followed by a lovely stay with welcoming and happy people looking after me. Post op follow ups and communication were also fab. I just can’t rexommend it enough! Very lucky to have this hospital in my county

If you like to be spoken to in an aggressive manner and ignored by secretaries, then this is the place for you! I’d rather suffer for the rest of my life in silence (which I now will) than use this hospital again. Your money will buy you better service elsewhere.

The clinical side of this place is very good, the issue is getting an appointment can take longer than just going to the NHS, nobody calls back or responds to emails. The admin hers is the worst I have come across in any industry let alone a medical one. I would say if you have a choice do not use the place and go elsewhere purely because the amount of time you will waste trying to just get seen to will probably make you even more ill.

One of the most unwelcoming and unfriendly hospitals (private or NHS) I have visited. The reception staff were bordering on aggressive and abrupt and had no time for you. The cafe staff were a little (but not much) better. Having said that, the consultant was excellent and had time and patience (excuse the pun) and explained everything thoroughly

Over the last few years I have been an outpatient, surgical inpatient and everything in between and so have experienced most of what this hospital has to offer. It has a culture where excellence is expected and delivered at every level. The facilities are kept spotlessly clean and hygienic, the nursing and ancillary staff are highly motivated, professional and genuinely caring, the consultants are among the best in the country, the rooms are comfortable and well furnished, the housekeeping first rate and the food imaginative, well prepared and tasty. The only weakness I have experienced is that twice outpatient reception did not tell the consultant I had arrived, resulting in an unnecessarily and overlong wait, but that's that's just about forgivable when compared to the overall consistently high standards delivered. I remain seriously impressed.
