Just come out of Yeovil hospital after a 5 day stay. The nurses were great and felt well cared for. The only let down I felt was being kept informed of what was going on As I was given 3.different leaving days. A 5 minute chat each day about medication and what's going on would be great

Waited near to a Year for an appointment for an operation. Arrived at 11:30, one member of staff was very rude whilst the other was very nice and kind. Was informed at 3:30pm that my appointment had been cancelled, and that they would place me on priority. I am already a priority operation and I was also told I had my appointment cancelled 2 hours prior, but no one had come to tell me that it had been cancelled. Extremely terrible organisation skills and no one speak to each other to pass information. Not all staff are at fault but it's an absolute state of a place

I was taken to YDH yesterday (29/10/18) morning after falling from my horse and I could not have received better or more prompt attention. I was seen straightaway and scans and x-rays followed soon thereafter. When so much criticism is levelled at our remarkable NHS we should hear more of the Good News stories.

My husband had a hernia operation here, the doctors and nurses couldn't do enough for him efficiency was fantastic ( not what we are used to) as our county would not do the operation? I had heard good reports about Yeovil from friends so asked our GP if we could be referred. It deserves this recognition for the great care and efficiency of all the staff. 10/10.

Went into A and E last Tuesday morning unable to walk and collapsing with a relative. Was told to walk to triage which I could not do. Triage female nurse came to call me as I sat in waiting room wheelchair. I then was ordered to walk into triage which I couldn't.This then resulted in my triage nurse at 8 am in the morning grabbing me by the coat and manhandling me into a chair pulling me out of my coat to put on blood pressure cuff. After seeing the reading she pushed me back and punched me in the heart. I then had a crash trolley to resuscitation where I discovered my heart beat had become very low. After several days admission on wards i was discharged today.i would like to thank this triage nurse from the very quick thinking professional that she was. Four stars because discharge lounge soured the whole experience
