Absolutely amazing experience. Firstly, I was so afraid because of the operation but Dr Stafford and all the staff were such a nice and supportive to me and to my partner. Everything was alright, Dr Stafford has been making sure I’m alright all the time and the other staff were very caring. Thank you.

I was so shocked and upset to find out that I was pregnant. Its not what I wanted at all. I had so much stress and no one to talk to. I knew that I had to seek help to end the pregnancy. Mr Stafford and his team were amazing. His PA was so caring and sympathetic on the phone and immediately put me at ease. She explained the process and the implications very clearly. At the hospital, I couldn't have been dealt with better. Totally non-judgemental and extremely helpful. I felt re-assured and supported through the whole process. I can't recommend this service highly enough.

I cannot recommend these people highly enough. Both Dr. Stafford and his PA Kellie showed me nothing but kindness and compassion. I was really upset with my situation and very nervous but all my questions were answered in a very understanding way. The process wasn't half as bad as I had imagined, probably because I fully understood what was going to happen. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who needs an abortion. They are always available and easy to get hold of.

Dr Sheryl Homa offers an outstanding Fertility Preservation service for Male Oncology patients. She is extremely professional, warm and knowledgeable. In all my encounters with the Andrology Solutions Team, I found all the staff extremely helpful, polite and my entire journey went very smoothly. I would highly recommend this private Male Fertility Clinic for Sperm Cryopreservation. I am indebted to her helping me fast-track my chemotherapy treatment, as she could accommodate last minute sperm cryopreservation.

I have called this clinic to enquire about a scan and have been treated with rudeness that is above and beyond what is acceptable. The lady on the other end of the call (whoever she is) should not work in the medical industry - When it comes to their health patients would want someone who is understanding and respectful as opposed to rude and careless. I hope this gets to the manager of this clinic as I'm sure many patients have been victims of this lady's obscene behaviour.

I worked at this hospital for 3 months and enjoyed it. It is close to public transport routes so if you don't have a car it is easy to get to. It's a small hospital and does not have an emergency department. If you come across someone by the name of Martina Holmes that works there be careful, she either makes up stories or exaggerates what happened and makes you look worse than Hitler.

Had gallbladder removed.Staff was friendly and attentive through the entire procedure . They all did wonderful work making me feel calm and safe. I suffer from severe anxiety disorder . Hartlepool has been my hospital of choice for over 15 years and I wish they would reopen it for other services. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this hospital, staff is always friendly and caring, but also efficient in their tasks. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Hospital is well sign posted throughout, though there are lots of friendly staff around to help find your way around the hospital if you get lost. The hospital has a café (Wilbers Café) which sells a wide variety of hot drinks, sandwiches and cakes. Ample hospital parking is available, free for 20 mins otherwise tariffs apply. (valid as of September 2018) There is no A&E department.

My son had an appointment that lasted 40 minutes, staff brilliant but the cost to park was £3.00. It's £3.00 to park from 30 minutes to 12 hours. The first 30 minutes are free. After waiting to be seen and then your appointment, how many get out within the 30 minutes. It cost more than most London hospitals for that amount of time. You should only have to pay for the time your parked. Diobolical!

I want to share what a brilliant service I received here. People are often too quick to leave negative comments without it being constructive in anyway, and not many people take time to share positive feedback. When I asked to have my baby at the women's I wanted to know I was in safe hands. I certainly was. I can't fault any aspect of care I received, which I am grateful for. My labour was induced and although it did not 'go to plan' my baby and I were very well looked after by all staff from midwives, doctors, anaesthetists, student midwives, healthcare staff and catering teams. They were all fantastic and I couldn't of asked for better care. My midwife and student midwife on the day of delivery were very attentive and did all they could to ensure smooth delivery. Even after I was discharged and my phone was left on the bed, and ended up in the linen room the two porters did all they could at half past midnight to reunite me with my phone which was so important to me as I had just taken so many precious photos of my new baby! They went above and beyond and are stars!

Was referred by Summercroft surgery to see ENT, when I got there the doctor said he can’t help me because he doesn’t have access to my MRI scan which was done at The Royal Brompton. So he sent me away. Didn’t help me with anything, refused to even look at it or discuss my symptoms. On top of that, upon my arrival I was asked by the receptionist in a very loud voice for how long have I been out of the country in the last year. This was after I told her my name which is a clear indicator that I’m originally from abroad. From what I know, you are not meant to ask verbally, you give a paper form for the patient to fill, don’t just shout it out loud like that. Will never recommend this place to anyone

I was admitted under Mr Singhal for a planned appendicectomy. Stayed in overnight. The experience was much better then I anticipated. Mr Singhal is an excellent surgeon. I was a very anxious patient. Nurse Andre admitted me with the help of health care assistant Jo. They were caring, and very efficient getting all the pre operation investigators done quickly before the surgery. Andre collected me from theatre and was very reassuring . Post surgery theatre nurse Vicki was also very calm and reassuring. I had a night nurse Maria and a day nurse Peter both of whom were absolutely excellent. Usually I do not write reviews but on this occasion because I had such a good experience I made time to write this.

Cannot recommend the Priory Hospital highly enough. From my original consultation to my surgery today, the service and job that all of the consultants and staff do is absolute second to none. I went to the Priory Hospital at 13:30. It took an hour to start the chest x-ray. Didn't feel private at all. Rather, it felt like I was in a normal NHS hospital. I'd rather go elsewhere if I had a choice. I was a bit stuck, otherwise I would not have stayed.

My 3 star rating is not based on our treatment outcome as that would be just ridiculous. I don't understand why would anyone give 1 star rating to any clinic 'just' because the treatment didn't work. At Bourn Hall the staff are friendly but somewhat distant, we have undergone 4 treatments here and overall their approach was ok. Sometimes explanation was missing so we didn't know what was happening, quite a few times we were feeling unwelcome and only as a number on the system. In the end I would recommend this clinic to anyone but would warn not to expect amazing but alright treatment.

We felt a good atmosphere in bourn hall clinic Kochi, the doctors are self-restraint, that’s our preliminary expectation from any ideal hospital .and the treatment is good and each session of treatments were well explained by each department. Especially the staffs are very co-operative and we got a nice caring behavior from the nurses And front office staffs, each staff are dedicated to serve the patient with pleasant smile and the emotional support that makes us distressed.

We did not a get a good vibe from Bourn Hall and certainly wouldn’t return for treatment. Upon attending a recent open evening, potential clients were handed a 3 page document, pricing all and sundry with zero indication as to what a typical treatment plan might entail or actually cost. This opaque pricing structure makes difficult to compare this clinic with its industry peers. No doubt Bourn will defend this statement but I can assure any reader that other clinics are more upfront. Excellent as their treatment might be, my wife and I were deterred by this lack of transparency. There were zero questions from floor after the presentation which for me reflected a lack of engagement in the room.

I would give 5 stars to the medical teams but had to drop 1 star because the reception staff are awful to deal with. The first time I visited I thought it was an off day but by the 5th visit I knew it was their usual manner. The lead receptionist snaps at her co workers in front of patients, intuits what the patient is going to say and answers the question before you finish speaking and without making eye contact. Generally, I think they behave with impatience as if patients are an unwanted disturbance. As the front of house for a fantastic medical team, they let them down with a snotty, unfriendly and dismissive attitude to people arriving for appointments with worries on their minds. I would personally go elsewhere just to avoid them if there was a choice nearby.

After 5 years of trying to build a family we were finally referred to BCRM for fertility treatment, we were seen quickly and had very in depth tests ran! We had male factor infertility and our consultant said ICSI is our best chance and within 2 months our first cycle had started! We unfortunately had 2 cycles which needed in miscarriage however through what felt like the worst time of my life BCRM were brilliant always a phone call away! We started our 3rd cycle and we are now expecting our first baby at 17 weeks pregnant and that is all thanks to BCRM! They are a fantastic team who always put their patients first! Our little boy is now just over 8 weeks old and to be honest, I’m still can’t believe that we have him! Throughout our 2 years and 3 IVF cycles (IVF, ICSI & FET), Dr Price, Carrie and the team have been so supportive. They were always honest in their diagnoses and recommendations, positive in their outlook and keen listeners to any instincts we had. They gave us as much strength to keep going, if not more, as anyone else and were kind, compassionate and completely trustworthy throughout. I can not recommend Fertility Bristol/BCRM enough, and I have been doing so throughout our fertility journey, not just since our successful outcome. Thank you everyone!

I can compare this to 2 other clinics and unfortunately I cannot rate this clinic as good, seem to still be "finding their feet". Reception staff civil at best and not always open when arriving for appointments, clinic staff a little warmer but impersonal/cold. Only time I got a phone call was very demanding asking for money otherwise I had to call for results or queries, was oversold drugs that I didn't need or use and they wouldn't take back. No real suppprt available out of office hours. Was told to google how to use the drugs! I've had many rounds of IVF and the 1 round I did here was my least successful by way of egg quality and any to freeze, I didn't have a follow up to check if it had worked so not sure how they manage their success statistics.

Can't tell whether they're any good, but they are slow, inefficient and unhelpful. It's hard to get hold of them on the phone in office hours, and I suspect they're only responding well after their deadlines because I chased them. And they will only deal with my GP, which seems unhelpful.

I am extremely happy with the treatment and care I received at this clinic. I always felt relaxed and confident during the treatment. The best thing I did was leave CRGH clinic in London and seek treatment at Care London. This clinic did their best to make the process as less stressful as possible. Though like all clinics they ask for payment first before treatment, they are not a money grabbing clinic, my health and well-being came first. They tried their best to cut down costs without me asking and told me which blood tests my GP may be able to do which saved me money. Certain scans and consultations were free. They really did their best to work around me when booking appointments and were always happy to answer any questions I had no matter how small. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Cost wise great . They have a variety of different protocols to suit different patients and the attention provided shows professionalism. I am really happy with the wonderful treatment and care they have given us. Good luck for the couples trying to conceive. I highly recommend this place.

I was a patient 10 years ago when you were called CRM London and have recommended you quite a few times to people I know who are trying for children due to your wonderful care and treatment, and today I called due to your name changing to enquire for a close friend and you discussed that you merged company's and why your name change and then advised me for for friend on the information she would need to be an egg share donor, as always you have supurb knowledgeable information and guidance friendly warm positive and also as a personal experience in the past I would say one of the best ivf clinics. Thank you for today and also thank you for being there 10 years ago also. Kind regards Natasha Harries.

Was great all the way through, couldn't fault the nurses. Was completely let down at the end of our treatment when it mattered the most. My wife had her egg retrieval and didn't feel ready to have her eggs put back when they was supposed to. We shared our concerns with the docs and they was more concerned about getting her in and out. We was told all the way through we can have 2 eggs put back although they don't recommend it.. when it got to the procedure they wouldn't put 2 back and instead told us to freeze one which we couldn't afford after already spending thousands. Was made to feel like it was our only option so I had to find a spare 500 quid out of thin air after we was told freezing any remaining embryos was included in the cost of the treatment (it was not). We really just felt like a number at the end. They had our eggs, they had our money and now they wanted rid. My wife has been put off IVF for life after this horrific experience. It's a very emotionally and physically draining experience and after seeing the pain my wife went through after her egg retrieval (that was meant to be just an uncomfortable feeling) I would not recommend to anyone. She was in a lot of pain for weeks to the point she nearly passed out at work.

From the first enquiry email we were made to feel important. Every aspect of our journey was carried out with compassion and honesty, allowing us to feel completely in control and looked after, during such an emotional and testing time. We would recommend anyone considering fertility treatment to seek advice from Care Fertility, and we can say with complete confidence and a four day old baby girl, that taking the time to save for private treatment was the best option.

I have had the most positive experience at Care. Everything went smoothly, every appointment on time. Everything was explained and every answer or concern answered. I could not have asked for more from these wonderful and caring nurses, consultants and anesthesist. Even though I had to leave a brief message I was always called back and all my emails have been answered. Overall I had a great experience. And a positive one as well as I got pregnant with my first baby.

My husband and I have decided to undergo a treatment with CARE in Northampton, since the clinic seemed to be rated good. Unfortunately, our experience is currently completely different. Mistakes are possible but the frequency and intensity of the occurrences is just striking. We have relocated to the UK from Germany and had started a treatment there as well, so we are well aware of what is reasonable to expect. I want to share my experience here in order to create transparency and initiate a change. Some of my experiences fall in line with the experiences shared by others below. I am also having trouble to reach the clinic staff. Whenever I call there is nobody answering and just a voicemail. I have to call several times before receiving a call back. This is especially frustrating since I sometimes have questions on the proposed treatment plan or next steps and it is difficult to speak to somebody, who can answers. It is not the case that my questions are unjustified. Eventually, my treatment plan was adjusted based on my thoughts. The event that really convinced me to share my experience was when I was told recently that I have to wait for 6-7 weeks before I can speak to one of the two doctors to get my new treatment plan (since the outcome of my first cycle was not positive). This is valuable time for me that is simply being lost. Overall, I am under the impression that this clinic is too streamlined and has not enough personnel to provide satisfactory service to its patients. One small example for this is that clinic staff asked me to settle some other patient’s bill after my scheduled appointment. In addition, I did not receive a promised update of my treatment plan by end of the week to understand next steps. I understand that the clinic has to make economic sense but here cost control seems to have severely deteriorated service quality. I am convinced that I am not the only one who would be willing to pay a bit more for better care and attention while undergoing a treatment. At the end, it is also important that one is relaxed during a treatment and not confronted with additional administrative stress. Needless to mention, that the name CARE seems ironic considering the experience that I am having. I hope this review will help others to make a more informed decision.

I have been under the care if thid clinic for several months.. from start to finish thr staff have been over and above amazing and consistent not to mention friendly and for any all procedures each member of staff to be involved has come and met and introduced themselves. Its been wonderful. The offices are clean tidy and relaxed. It really has been a pleasure getting to meet such a wonderful team.

I'll be honest my first review for this clinic was a bad one as no one called me back, the office manager called me after I left my negative review and explained they now have a new centralised number where they do answer straight away. I'm so glad I gave them another chance, the nurses and office staff at care have been wonderful and supportive, i esp like deidre who we had our injection teach with yesterday and Nadine is so lovely and always emails me back straight away. Im only mid injection regime but I feel so happy I chose this clinic. We have a few more months with them as our Cycle isn't a straight forward fresh transfer so I Will update again once we are finished (and hopefully have a good outcome to report back). So far I wouldnt hesitate to recommend x

Absolutely terrible service having been referred here by the NHS for fertility testing I can assure you I would not pay to come back here again the communication has been terrible. I have had to pay for a test that they refuse to provide the results of making the whole experience of fertility testing very stressful. They obviously are not able to deal with the issue of infertility very sensitively. I was told two weeks ago at my test that I would get my results the same day. Two weeks on and nothing has been passed onto me. I have rang the clinic daily and the receptionist just transfers you to a voicemail instead of checking if anyone is available to take the call first. They are not helpful and having got through to someone yesterday who just said my results were sent to the doctors the next day - why this was not communicated I do not know- on having been to the doctors they said that Care Fertility should have the results and they haven't received them. Still don't know why this clinic cannot provide a copy of my results after having paid for this service. Absolutely puts me and my wife off coming back to the clinic in future.

Had a wonderful experience at CARE. After having failed ICSI twice at other places and losing all hope in having a family I was recommended to go and give CARE Fertility a try. Not only was the procedure a lot easier than other clinics, the clinic was more thorough in looking at our previous cycles to identify what should be done differently. We ended up being the first couple at CARE having artificial oocyte activation with ICSI and had the best result ever. We had our first child after 15 years of marriage. Since then we have been back to CARE again and now have two wonderful boys. I would like to thank you all for all the love and care the staff at CARE NOTTINGHAM showed us and made our treatment here a very enjoyable experience.

So far a very positive experience at CARE Sheffield. It's very important to have a point of contact within the clinic and CARE Sheffield are excellent at this which has meant that my questions are all answered, I don't feel like I'm drifting along with the potential to miss something important as I have at least one person there being proactive for me - this is not something I do everyday! so having expert guidance and a friendly, helpful, can-do attitude available makes this difficult journey a whole lot easier.

Amazing clinic with staff who care and consistently go the extra mile. Having had treatment at other fertility clinics we decided to have one final cycle at Sheffield Care and wish we had chosen this wonderful clinic from the start. It is with great shame that I can only give out FIVE STARS! It should been TWENTY STARS😀 as that would of meant that each daughter would of given FIVE STARS each ! My daughters are the 1st monozygotic quadruplet girls in the UK (the world(?)) to be born from a single egg transfer, with the help from Caroline (pictured) we made a promise to Caroline, that if we had “a” girl we would name her, with her name! We didn’t think it would be fair to name all four the same! The “care” that we got was second to none ! Even after the birth of the girls, my wife still got on-going support ! So the people who say “it’s all about the money (?)” guess what your wrong ! Feel free to Google Rotherham Quads

I would not hesitate to recommend Care Fertility Tunbridge Wells to anyone trying to conceive through assisted fertility treatment. After several failed IVF attempts at a well known Harley Street fertility clinic, my other half and I found ourselves at Care. We received kind, consistent, expert medical care, wise advice, ground breaking, effective treatments (such as the endometrial scratch technique) and are now the proud parents of a beautiful baby boy. We couldn’t be more grateful to the team at CareTW. Thank you.

It's so good to have the opportunity to express how I feel about CRGW but one star is far too generous. Previously the gestapo from the clinic stopped any negative comments from being made by threatening the website with legal action so it's great to have this forum. I found them negligent in their practice and I felt that they are not genuinely interested in their patients and their stories. They are corrupt, greedy and interested only in success rates/kudos and ultimately financial reward. They are ruthless in their pursuit of power eg they destroy graded embryos to bolster their success rates (without your permission) There's no complaints procedure at CRGW. You just talk to the same person who treats you with disrespect and disdain and then eventually stops responding. He gives you no information on how to take the matter further and he controls your every move from thereon. I had to deal with him on transfer day. Imagine that! He has spies everywhere and if you dare complain the spies report back to him. The most distressing and emotionally exhausting experience ever.Go somewhere that cares about their patients and lets them decide what treatment they would like rather than dictating to them

Avoid at all costs!! The clinic lied to me on several occasions, promised me a refund then denied this. The complaints process is pointless as no one actually responds to the issues raised. I'd advise you research other clinics as I'm sure this one is ok if all goes well but has caused me considerable emotional distress at a time when this is the last thing I needed.

WORST hospital ever visited. Have been there many times and on many occasions, i have had a bad experience. It also seems that staff are either forgetting common courtesy, talking to you with no privacy or you having to wait way past your appointment time. Maybe the staff are just as fed up as the people in need and don't really want to be there. VERY expensive parking too. If you don't believe me, feel free to compare the service and amenities with Rugby hospital. The free 10 minutes parking is a joke. It would take you a lot longer to park, go to reception and ask them a question. Common sense would suggest 25-30 minutes free. Try dropping someone off, helping them to where they need to get to and back to your car and out of the car park. They do have a drop off point now. Make sure you get to the hospital early as it can be a nightmare getting parked and to your appointment for the right time. Queues are long and can be difficult to get to A&E. Probably better off catching the bus or calling an ambulance. They had a chance to make this hospital great with underground parking, parks and spaces around the grounds but all you see is cars all over the place with ambulances, staff and patients struggling to get in. They have tried to improve a bad situation but it is still pretty rubbish. I'm glad there are some good reviews here so not all bad.

Waiting times to die for. One shouldn't arrive with acne only to leave with dementia. Staff are great and really hard working but parking :-) . Parking is really badly laid out and on 24 hour supervision by an army of failed the IQ test wanabe Special Forces rejects.. Two entrances and no barriers to the parking areas would make so much more sense and then simply replace all the Special Forces rejects with parking meters.

Shocking care of the elderly these doctors were only interested if i had a do not resuscitate in place for my father. My dad went in and never left he died as they were discharging him. I strongly believe it was down to the fact that staff were not watching his blood pressure, because he had a massive bleed on his brain and died in minutes. If you have elderly family I would watch them very carefully as the doctors see them as bed blockers !!! I strongly think my dad died due to not being looked after properly because he was bed blocking and he was elderly . I hate this hospital and god help us all if we live to a good age and we have to attend this place !!!!

As a patient of the dressings clinic of the burns unit I was in continuous extreme pain.Although this was logged on a 1 to 10 scale there was no interface with any pain consultant. The nurses managed to show almost no empathy and the medical supervision seemed almost invisible.Although the trust Pals team were wholly supportive and encouraged a complaint nothing happened as a result of this.If a Pals team has little or no power it usually is very bad news for the patient.Getting hospital transport in virtually impossible although I was on crutches.Three letters to the Chief Executive eventually sorted the matter out.As a carer and carer governor (elsewhere) I have decades of experience at the hard end and this was just about the most negative experience of the NHS to date. The clinical lead was of no help and my local pain clinic immediately saw the seriousness of my situation and gave all possible help. The dressings clinic staff need empathy training and pain control issues need to be embedded within a training module. The service needs to be joined up with psychological input in place and patients need to be given access to detailed information about negative outcomes.

Extremely competent, polite and helpful, even at 3am! I showed up with a screaming pain in the neck and a fever so they thoroughly did blood test and were able to discard worst case scenarios like meningitis. At that point even with the horrible pain I was feeling embarrassed to disturb them for a neck spasm or something similar, but they told me I did the right thing coming in, gave me treatment for the symptoms, all of that in the middle of the night and with a smile. Huge sympathy for those guys working crazy hours for our health! Thank you again

We would definitely recommend Gennet City Fertility to all couples who are considering fertility treatment. Our dream of becoming parents came true in November 2018 when we welcomed our precious little boy! Due to our history we were advised to try IVF with PGS and with only one healthy embryo we were successful and at the age of 43 I finally became a mum. We found all clinic staff very professional and friendly at all times and the clinic flexible in terms of appointments. Overall we had a very positive experience with City Fertility and we would not hesitate to recommend it.

I think this clinic takes the top spot for being the greediest, most money grabbing clinic I've come across. Quoted £1800 for just 1 injection! I really hope the government takes it up itself to look to regulate the cynical and ruthless rip off by these private fertility clinic.

Too much attitude problem and only care about money and nothing else. There are clearly a lot of issue highlighted and in return the appointment has been cancelled because they do not want anybody to highlight any issue to them and simply listen to them and pay them without asking any question. Total disappointment Thanks for putting the blame on me and not telling the others that you only deals with CASH to avoid the TAX.

Received female MOT and two treatment packages. Was recommended IUI but informed by nursing staff that this was likely not best for situation, (contradicting consultant advice), and lost 50% of fee with cancellation policy after 2nd nurse appointment. Signed up for IVF, clinical staff kind and helpful. Consumers should be aware that many clinic statistics may not include ‘cancellations’, (there are people who don’t make it to embryo transfer and published stats), or reflect live births. With waiting and follow ups, took 10 mths to complete half an IUI and one IVF cycle. Understood costs (although high) but not prepared for long wait for consultant appts. Admin very bad unfortunately; incomplete set of blood tests, medication not ordered on time so had to directly contact drug company, 2 months wait for follow-up, invoiced for items already paid with no apology. Trust in fertility industry damaged unfortunately.

The worst fertility clinic in Southampton! Please be aware and avoid wasting your money! I cry out of frustration with these people! Staff are very rude and mislead you into wasting money unnecessarily! Doctor Saran is only concerned with meeting her numbers and even charging for services not received! There is never any answer on the Appointment Line and leaving messages their response is to inform you there is a one month waiting list before you can even start treatment! This is a dreadful clinic with unprofessional staff, i have lost money with them so beware and look elsewhere!

I have never received bad treatment at the Countess. Admittedly the waiting times can be long but no more so than other hospitals. I do think the staff are overworked and understaffed but that is endemic of our NHS today. If you take into account that you are not the only patient within the hospital and that the Nursing, Doctor and other staff are stretched to the max then I feel they offer a good, competent service and have actually been faster than some hospitals I have been to. My only criticism is that parts of the building are becoming a little dilapidated but you can see that building work is taking place and everything takes time. Thank you Countess and I hopefully won’t be see you soon!

Attended A&E week before last. I'm disgusted in the care and treatment I received from the staff. They didn’t care one bit and it was a serious issue. This hospital is not clean at all very disgusting. Becareful of the staff because they back stab you and put false information on the system about you just to cover Thier own backs. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone especially if it's serous. If I could give 0 stars i would. I have put loads of complaints in to the matron and nothing still been done.

In the ward I was particularly impressed how the hospital staff could still find time to come and simply sit with very poorly patients to offer a few minutes of comfort despite their obviously busy schedule. I was discharged on the fifth day with a comprehensive rehabilitation plan including the required medication after care and a twelve week fitness gymnasium course. The course is personal and individually monitored by medical staff, including a short Q & A talk on the medication and the exercise regime.

I cannot speak too highly of the treatment I received on Ward 18 after my hip replacement operation. Every member of staff was kind, caring and considerate, making my stay comfortable and as easy as possible. The ward should be recommended as a centre of excellence as that was my experience. Thank you to everyone.

I have recommended CREATE to so many of my friends and acquaintances I should get commission!! It is quiet clear it was developed by a woman. CREATE is professional respectful supportive and the treatment is far more manageable physically and emotionally that the treatment a lot of my friends have had in other clinics. CREATE specializes in natural and least obstructive treatment as possible and I can tell the difference. I feel my overall health and well-being is facilitated and taken into account. ALSO EVERYONE IS SO LOVELY!!!!

All the visits and scans are done by experienced and kind doctors. I arrived here after being traumatized by another clinic (LWC) where everything is managed by nurses and you hardly see the same person twice. You can even ask to be followed by the same doctor every time you need to be there, and the doctors will do their best to arrange their schedule to help. They also really believe in natural cycles IVF. I do recommend them!

Absolutely appalling. Different Dr’s every time. Changing doses every time. The administration of my care is worse than non existent. When they try they get it completely wrong. I’m still waiting since April for an outcome for a decision on a refund as they messed up my protocol, the only message I’ve had responded to something irrelevant to the query at hand. How can they be trusted to offer good quality care?

The worst experience ever! As soon as they collect the money, they do not look after a client. I sent a complain email and letter 7 months ago regarding my IUI treatment, and no reply by now. Very poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to enyone. I have been treated by the clinic very poorly since the secend visit ( the first visit was very professional as it was the one to collect the money). They are just trying to sell ‘ the dream ‘ to many desperate people without being professionaly prepared for it. Avoid this place if you can. I wish I did a better research before trying them.

After having 1 failed cycle at Create Fertility Raynes Park, which was very upsetting, we were successful on the second, staff were very empathetic and helpful after failed attempt. Admin were very professional and always had a smile on their face when attending the clinic for scans etc which made things a lot better as going through something like this is very stressful in itself. I would recommend this clinic.
Isabella

The staff are always welcoming and kind here and there is a genuine interest in treating the individual, with treatment geared to your circumstances. Debbie stands out as a very kind and understanding person who is expert in listening. Create specialises in lower drug (mild) regime IVF and this is very suitable for those with a lower ovarian reserve - a low AMH is not a barrier to treatment at this clinic, which isn't always the case with other clinics. I preferred the shorter cycle length as IVF is a fairly stressful process, so the shorter the better, but also the lower drug levels associated mild protocols didn't make me feel as rubbish! Lower drug IVF protocols are also cheaper; I think it is entirely possible to do 3 low drug rounds at this clinic for the price of one high stimulation round elsewhere. I would definitely recommend Create and have visited all the well known UK clinics - Create really felt like a place where I was given a chance.

One word for their service: MESS. What a mess!!!! The staff is so confused and confusing that everything seems out of its place. The way they make money is due to desperation of couples on getting a child, and they charge you separately for every sing thing, the amount for a cycle that you believe it won't cost much at first instance, become then more expensive then anywhere else, once you are on the loop, the invoices just keep coming, coming and coming. They don't tell you much before that happens. The reception service is very poor (Raynes Park), the clinic isn't the most hygienic place and if you don't push them, you don't get things done. Unless of course, they want to charge you, then they will make anything to get your money. DONT FALL IN THE TRAP.

I have had many treatments & admissions at St Helier Hospital over the years, some good some bad. But overall, I feel that despite our failing NHS, St Helier, always strive to treat you with dignity & heal you as best as physically possible. M1 & M2, have fantastic staff - the months/years I’ve spent over those two wards & I cannot convey in words the phenomenal care I received! Anna & Linda are diamonds! I owe my rare genetic diagnosis & in turn my life, to Dr Panyi & his Urology team. I have a rare & complex medical history, Doctors are taught to look for the obvious but Doctor P, knew I was different & he didn’t stop until we found out why my body was failing me. It took 20 years, but St Helier Staff saved my life.

My wife was taken to A& E by a lovely ambulance crew and we arrived at midnight. She has Alzheimer's and had inadvertently taken 7 days of Donepezil at one go. My complaint is that we were there for 7 hours which is totally unacceptable and she was getting very agitated at the end. It was all I could do to stop her walking out before they had finished her tests. This is not good enough in this day and age. I know they are busy but more resources need to be allocated to this service.

I couldn't fault the consultant I saw on Saturday, yes a lot of money for peace of mind but for me it was money well spent. Only downside is you don't pay for treatment there and then your invoices apparently. Plenty of parking and the consultant and the nurse with him was lovely. Staff on reception quite abrupt and miserable but hey didn't bother Me

Carpel tunnel op under NHS. Surgeon was brilliant and the op was a great success. Why 3*? I was sent home with no painkillers despite my gp saying they would be supplied. I think the surgeon forgot to tick the box and the carer was afraid to query the error. That is potentially dangerous and indicates an unsafe culture. There was no after-op survey to comment on this. Luckily I had some old pills from my hip-op five years before.

Leaving a review is not normally something i bother doing. But this is such a hard thing to deal with that i feel it is necessary to share our experience. First things first, it's very hard to be too critical when your wife is expecting a baby girl which is from a successful IUI and happened first time. We are extremely grateful for what they did for us and couldn't be happier. We were sent to Exeter from Torbay Hospital and our treatment was on the NHS. For people who have to pay, i would recommend seeking out the clinic with the best success rate, depending on distance for you to travel. At Exeter, don't expect to be seen on time. Not one of our appointments was. The first one was over an hour late. It's also a similar story with each process. Every new appointment we had was weeks/months of waiting. And the flexibility of appointments was virtually non-existent, which was very difficult juggling that and my wife starting a new job. The first week in particular pushed us right to the limit! However it is pretty obvious they are understaffed for the amount they have to take on and clearly a lot of them work long and hard hours. The staff are superb to say the least. We always felt welcome and looked after. They were always happy to help and talk. And during different procedures, they made us feel calm and comfortable. Our experience took around 2 years, from our first appointment at Torbay to a positive test at home. There was lots of waiting and lots of travelling from Torquay to Exeter. Patience was certainly the key and at times we felt like we could of just given up. But for anyone starting out, keep the faith that it will happen for you and be patient. You will get there in the end.

Awful communication from the very start. Have now moved clinics because the stress of dealing with them was just too much, and lead to a period of depression. Made an official complaint but they missed the point entirely, so I now give up and will never go back there. Read about my experience with them on my (ongoing) blog, bubsandthebees

Unlike the first reviewer, our experience has been great. The first reviewer is correct though in that the HFEA stats are not great and the clinic should really give their own percentages of success rather than national statistics BUT, that being said, Exeter Fertility have been brilliant to us! Occasionally, they are tricky to get hold of but they are always helpful and caring. Thanks to the medical staff and scientists, we are now expecting twins and could not have done it without these wonderful people. All of the staff were very friendly and go above and beyond even despite the fact they are MASSIVELY over stretched and underfunded like the rest of the NHS. Its easy for me to say now as the IVF worked for us first time, but I think even had it not worked, I would not have blamed the clinic. They do a great job and I would recommend them. :-)

Officially the worst in the region - according to the HFEA's website. However - not according to their own. Wasted my one free chance at Exeter Fertility - and now I will have to travel to Wales. What an absolute shambles. The nurses are lovely, everyone was friendly - but when you pay thousands of pounds, what's the point in going to the worst clinic in the region? Especially when their prices are higher than most. For ladies out there who (like me) didn't look at the success rates on the official HFEA website, please find them below. These are just for IVF cycles, for women under 35 using their own eggs. This is three years worth of data (2014) and the figures haven't improved since for Fertility Exeter. It's such a shame their website led me to believe 30 -35% success rates, but its actually so much lower. Don't waste your one free chance on the NHS like I did - please go elsewhere. It's not worth the risk, its already so hard on us, emotionally and physically - every tiny percentage counts when you are trying for a miracle. You can double your chances just by travelling 60 miles. I know the choice I would have made should I have had truthful information from their website. Exeter Fertility Pregnancies per cycle 17.8% Live Births Per Cycle 17.2% Singleton Live Births 13.6% Multiple Live Births 3.6% Live births per egg 20.7% Live Births per embryo transfer 25.7% Miscarriages per cycle 0.6% Bristol Center for Reproductive Medicine Pregnancies per cycle 26.1% Live Births Per Cycle 22.7% Singleton Live Births 19.3% Multiple Live Births 3.4% Live births per egg 35.1% Live Births per embryo transfer 40% Miscarriages per cycle 2.3% Bath Fertility Pregnancies per cycle 29.6% Live Births Per Cycle 26.8% Singleton Live Births 26.1% Multiple Live Births 0.7% Live births per egg 31.4% Live Births per embryo transfer 36.2% Miscarriages per cycle 2.1% London's Womens Clinic Wales Pregnancies per cycle 32.5% Live Births Per Cycle 29.4% Singleton Live Births 23.8% Multiple Live Births 5.6% Live births per egg 38.5% Live Births per embryo transfer 43.9% Miscarriages per cycle 2.5% My story? Ill keep it short - over/under cooked - 25 follicles turned into 4 eggs and only one fertilized. Months waiting without a phone call, nearly breached the 18 week pathway - reason? Because the consultant was on Holiday for a month and a new one was starting soon, so it would be a few months. Just another statistic - and a bad one at that. So they wasted nearly 8 months of my life - battered, bruised, forgotten about and nothing to show for it. As I said before, everyone is friendly enough - but something is going seriously wrong somewhere - and when you are in control of something as important as bringing children into the world - its not good enough. At least they offer you free counselling eh!

Caught c-diff infection in labour. Bullied into having a natural birth and then rushed to have c section. The lady who performed my c section was very rude. 2 weeks after giving birth taken to A&E by ambulance - misdiagnosed. 4 weeks post natal taken by ambulance again. Finally, diagnosed then was told no, that it's not c diff, then told again it was c diff, discharged and admitted third time. This hospital is a joke. I spent many days away from my baby due to the incompetence. Begged and cried to be transferred to a private hospital but no. I then discharged myself and sought private care. Avoid!!!

Never had any problems until last week when I had a appointment at 3.15 and was eventually seen at 5.05pm no apology and could not have a scan because it was closed. Have to wait until the 13/12 its management gone wrong and such a waste of money it would have been better to have seen the consultant and had the scan the same day. Instead I have a scan on the 13/12 and a follow up with the consultant five days later. Absolutely incredible

This is the worst hospital I have ever experienced. My husband was completely traumatised when he was discharged and he refused to be re-admitted so was treated at a local hospital. Most of the staff in all the departments we came in to contact with were aggressive and unpleasant. The pancreatic cancer liaison nurse was appalling. The place was dirty, there were not enough blankets, my husband lay on a wet pillow, the food was awful and sometimes non existent. Lifts did not work and nursing care was really neglectful. When I complained they threw the complaint in the bin.

Had a couple of very distressing episodes in ward 18, one was mum needed the commode 1 night and after i kept on calling for assistance i was told by one auxiliary named 'Allison' we have other patients to deal with other than your mum you know. OK yes i understood that and even after they had dealt with the patient and passed by our room it was left to myself to put lots of paper towels underneath my mum so she could do her business without soiling both her gown and chair as mum was then immobile. Another 15-20 minutes passed and by this time i had cleaned all of the mess up myself, 15 minutes later they came with the commode but it was unneeded after a near 45 minute wait @ 22.50. Luckily i was there for my mum that night as i did always go in every evening just to spend time with her alone for hours on end right up until she passed in Spring 2018, some staff were nice and pleasant but some not so and i dont understand why they're in a job like this with attitudes as such! I came across this on my older mobile as was perusing through it, the audio is crystal clear and there is around 20+ minutes of video footage of this incident and the rest is just sound, so if anyone wishes to advise me on what should i do with this 48 minute long insight into unhelpful with rather rude staff whose job is to care for patients not just ignoring their needs certainly on this occasion, then inform me what is my best option or tell me if im being oversensitive as it's my mum thanks.

GSTT do not communicate well. Do not even consider them for treatment, as they cannot manage their patients, or their invoicing properly. Trying to get follow up appointments has been like getting blood from a stone. I also paid for a process, which I have since decided not to do with GSTT and I am waiting many months for a reimbursement (which was at least agreed). I am also questioning the legitimacy of items on an outstanding invoice, and am getting no communication back on this. Just letters threatening debt collectors due to lack of payment. I am sure there are better clinics, so don't waste your time with this one. The Dr I saw (Dr Jan Grace) did seem good and professional however, but it is so hard to actually get any appointments!

When i had my cystoscopy over a year ago, I waited for 7 hours before i could be discharged from the ward. There was a total lack management and organisation. My follow up appointment was arranged for 6 months later. I never saw the consultant who had performed the procedure. I saw different doctors each time i had an appointment. This policy results in your treatment being inconsistent as the doctors have no time to acquaint themselves with your condition. Now they cancelled my appointment just 2 days before it was due and after they bombarded me with reminders to attend. I would not recommend this hospital.

Will not recommend this place to anyone and not because their treatment didn't work, but because it was not professional and timed badly, because all they care about is how to make as much money as they can from you, because of their service level: when the nurse before calling you doesn't even bother to check your medical record details and asking how pregnant you are when you are not even near that and that's why you are at their clinic!; when you have more than 5 people in contact with you from that clinic, but no one has the full record of whats happening next, and finally when they make you pay for an appointment in order to actually buy the package of their services and this given that you have already paid for the first appointment GBP250. This is not mentioning that when you burst into tears in their offices because feeling helpless to struggle with them further , they don't even offer any apology or the words of sympathy as if this is normal and that's how it should be in the normal order of events! Avoid at all costs.

The inital consolation with the staff discussing all of our options we knew we were in safe hands. Unfortunately it did not work first time around. After the first failed ivf attempt they went through all of the possibilities that we could change for a second attempt with them. Was worried it wouldn't work but they were reassuring and explained everything along the way. We were always greeted by name and we were able to laugh and chat with all the staff. We now have a gorgeous baby girl. Thank you so much and we have already recommended you to others.

My husband and I have become extremely familiar with this clinic over a number of years and I cannot speak highly enough of all of the staff and the incredible service that they provide. From day one we were welcomed with compassion and kindness, from reception all the way through to the consultants, the standard of care is extremely high and the entire process is made as easy as possible due to the wonderful nature of the staff. Having experienced both baby loss and failed IVF attempts with these people standing beside me, I can tell you without doubt that they genuinely care for their patients and quickly end up feeling like your extended 'fertility family'. I am by no means biased, despite their impressive track record my husband and I have not yet been lucky enough to carry a pregnancy to term, but despite this I would not want to be treated anywhere else.

I can't speak highly enough of this place. The staff are wonderful, so caring. My wife and I have now achieved our dreams with a baby due in the summer. The whole process of IVF was daunting at first. We have been through it before at a couple of private units and it frankly felt like they were just in it for the money and weren't interested in us as human beings with fertility problems and the biological clock ticking. They promised the earth and delivered nothing, and there were always surprise hidden extras! But this place is very different. They care about us as people. They're honest about the costs, and they are more reasonable than the other places. The staff explained that the ethos is being part of the NHS, despite being in a unit that is high spec and feels private. The staff are very experienced because they are all NHS through and through, and are part of the well known Liverpool Women's Hospital. Some people are lucky to be able to access this place on the NHS - we couldn't because of the rules that are in place about BMI (not invented by this place I hasten to add but a bunch of pen pushers called commissioning groups) and frankly for a couple of years my wife was comfort eating because of not being able to get pregnant! But I don't begrudge for a minute having spent my hard earned here, and hopefully we'll be back for number 2 next year as we still have embryos in the freezer! Patrick Smith.

I feel compelled to write a review of this centre as I haven't had anywhere near the same experience as the negative reviews on here. I really can't fault them. We were treated through NHS in 2016 and went through IUI - luckily our first cycle was a success and we now have a gorgeous boy. (Albeit a tantrum thrower but that's toddlers for you). We have been trying for a second but continued to have unexplained issues so have gone back to the clinic to pay for IUI and I am very happy with the service. The treatment is always explained to me, staff are pleasant (especially given how stretched they are) and I'm feeling optimistic about the future. I appreciate fertility is exceptionally emotional and patients require careful consideration and emotional comforting, but I can't help think you get what you give in terms of manners and respect. I've spoken to the staff at Homerton and they have told me of exceptionally rude behaviour and even abuse - it would grind anyone down and we're all only human.

Poor service, Very difficult to get through on the phone. The staff doesn't communicate well. They need to be more professional in their approach. It appears as if they are going through a ritual & doing people a favor during appointments.

I am giving the clinic 5 stars because my frozen embryo transfer worked first time. YeCs there was a long wait between having egg retrieval and then the transfer (6 months) however it is the Nhs. More than grateful to be given the opportunity. I found the appointments informative and the DRs were caring. Calling to speak to nurses were fine and I was responded to within few hours if they needed to call back. I am going back to have another transfer in a few months so I will update then.

This place is an absolute joke, they are never there, they take 6 weeks if you are lucky to fax the results to your doctor, they make people provide samples in toilets, half the tests required aren't even performed, its not comprehensive like friends of mine in another borough, just dont bother, time is important when trying to concieve and these jokers drag their heels at every juncture.... unprofessional and useless!

Very difficult to get someone on the phone, called for 3 days every 30 minutes and left number of voicemails but no call backs. Finally get through and the receptionist wasn't too bothered and felt like she didn't want to be there. Had attitude on her. I ask for appointment but she said that it was 2 months and 2 weeks wait for one. Very poor NHS service they have 4 day in a week available for appointments and only one hour for each day apart from one of the days they have 2 one hour slots. Very poorly run service, this is not a joke people have health issues that need resolving asap.

I cannot recommend Hull IVF enough. The support was absolutely brilliant from the moment we walked through the doors on our first consultation to the moment we took our beautiful, healthy bundle of joy home. All the members of staff were understanding, caring, compassionate and professional. Mr McGuinness was amazing, his advice was brilliant when we were in doubt about how many eggs to put back in. Martha was born 5weeks premature and Mr McGuinness even popped his head through the doors to check up on us. 5 years down the line and I can’t thank everyone enough for completing our family and making pur lives complete. 5 stars all the way for Hull IVF.

After some major communication issues and a lack of service in IVI Madrid we tried to move our treatment to London. I totally bought into DR McVeigh and was prepared to finish our treatment there. Due to some complications I was told they needed to get an answer from the HFEA but this was formality and they would come back to me in 3 days. Just over two months later and after much chasing on my side, they came back to me with negative answer, one I was not prepared for as Dr McVeigh had said it was " just a formality". Another two months wasted of finding the right clinic after already wasting so much time with their parent company in Spain. Speaking as someone who had had a lot of contact with IVI as a company - stay away there are many well established clinics in the UK.

I gave birth here in September, one of the busiest months for babies, in the midwife led part. They were brilliant from start to finish. The midwife who delivered my daughter, Sarah, was absolutely phenomenal. She had just finished delivering one baby, came to deliver mine and was rushing off to deliver the next one right after stitching me up. They do this with a smile on their face and they provide the best level of care. As a first time mum they kept me calm and level headed. The quality of care was second to none. You’ll be well looked after if you deliver your baby here.

After ~4hours wait we find out that doctor is not even there because looks like they had just 1 doctor for it and he left somewhere else. They wasint able to give any timing how much longer wait can be and after first time asked we wait for another 40minutes and answer from them was the same: we don't know. Pointless waiting when I needed to be resting at home with my conditions

04/01/2019 I spent this morning in the Eye Unit. I was seen 30 minutes before my appointment, received excellent care, attention and expertise. Each member of staff was courteous, focused on my problem and responsive to my needs. I went there concerned, and left knowing that I would continue to receive excellent care and attention until my eye problem has been put resolved.

This is my first ever experience to use NHS service. A&E staff is in race of numbers. My partner was not seen until 3 hours, he has very bad skin issue and after 3 hours was told to go home and keep it dry. Within last night the condition has gone worse. Now I don't know what to do, where to take my partner.

I’ve spent about 3.5 hours in the A&E with my 17 months old son and had about roughly three minutes of face time with the staff. At the very beginning they told me they needed a urine sample and so I spend those 3.5 hours with my half naked son in my lap trying to make him pee. About two hours in, a doctor came in and performed a brief checkup. She left without saying much. One and a half hours later a nurse came in and told me my son was going to get antibiotics. When I asked her what the diagnosis was, she left the room. I heard her tell the doctor „he wants to know why“. She returned telling me it was an ear infection and they they didn’t need the urine sample any more. This left me wondering: first, couldn’t the doctor have told me right away so I wouldn’t have had to try to make a sick and sleepy toddler pee for those extra one and a half hours. And second, had I not asked would they have sent me home without ever telling me about the diagnosis?

Kingston hospital admin staff bank - DIABOLICAL!! I signed upto their staff bank this year, 2018, and after the full 3 month period of going through the recruitment process, they failed dismally to find a part-time role for me, even though they were fully aware at interview stage and once I'd been handed over to the bank team (who appear to be a team of incompetent children in my opinion) that I was a part-time carer at home, and had to get the correct home/work life balance. I ended this ridiculous and incompetent situation by e-mailing them to inform them of my utter disgust, which culminated in my sending my ID badge back and removing myself off their books with immediate effect. My ultimate advice is avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

I had my first baby at Kingston hospital, and experience was so poorly that I still can remember it with tears in my eyes. 1) when I was 5cm dilated and needed epidural the room wasnt ready (needed to be cleaned) so I was in agony screaming my head off for 3 hours! 2) my water broke, and I mentioned it to one of the midwife as I was soaked. But they still thought that it was intact, and tried to break it later, possibly causing the baby’s head being soare. 3) when I asked for a top up (epidural) as I was induced my pain was extraodanary, inexperienced/new midwife kept refusing till doctor arrived and told her to top me up. 4) when baby was born I asked the same midwife to measure her height and she said “no, we don’t do it anymore. Only if there is a concern”, it was just ridiculous. 5) baby’s head was covered in blood, and we asked the same midwife if she could clean/wash her, her reply was “we don’t wash the baby, but ok, I can wash her head for you”. In the birth plan there is a section where you have to select if you want your baby to be placed on your chest as soon as it’s been born or wiped I.e from blood. 6) and finally I was left on a bed soaked, wet and cold for almost 2-3 hours! I had to get up which was so scary as it felt like my organs just dropped down. To look into the cupboard to see if there are clean and dry bed sheets. I also kept ringing the bell and no one would come into the room so I went outside on my own and in the actual hallway I could see a few ladies chatting away who then told me “go back in and we will call your midwife”. I almost passed out as I lost around 1.2 liter of blood and being anaemic wasn’t helping. 7) I’ve finally been transferred into room, with dry and warm bed. Baby was taken away as they needed to get a cannula into her hand to give her antibiotics. They brought her back with her hand covered (about 3-4) blood dots as they couldn’t find the vein, poor baby. Later after cannula has been inserted it then came out as it hadn’t been fixed properly so they had to do it again. 8) As I am anaemic and lost more than a litter of blood, I had to take the iron tablets, but they make you really constipated. First 2 days I’ve been given 1 then my prescription was changed to 2, the final result of it after a week or two I was constipated so badly following the pain and soreness after birth...I now had an awful fissure. It was the biggest mistake, they shouldn’t have increased the dose of iron after birth! Why I haven’t been given blood instead.... 9) it’s been a year and a half of agony and constant pain. I couldn’t have an operation/Botox while breastfeeding as well! So firstly I just had an operation 10 months later but it didn’t help, after 15 months I stopped breastfeeding and had another operation with Botox. Thank God I am pain free now but really fragile. I am not sure if any other hospitals are the same, but sadly I know for sure this hospital/labour experience has put me off from having more kids.

Avoid at all opportunity. We started our process through a GP referal. Initially the first meeting went well and that's about the only positive thing I can write. I paid £60 for blood tests doing which were then lost in transit. I was made to feel like they were doing me a favour by doing the bloods again free of charge!!!!! I was constantly having to chase them for appointments and updates. I was told by the rudest registra I had no chance of a successful pregnancy but I did not have a problem getting pregnant and that was their job done, an IVF booklet was thrown at me to read when I questioned this with him. It turned out this was not correct information and albeit I would be high risk there was every chance of me having a successful pregnancy with regular checks. The same registrar contacted my partner and told him he has cystic fibrosis and would be referred to the specialists to be seen and spoken to further about this. Turns out this was also incorrect and he had the gene only. Two totally different things. Very good at giving people results without the full results being available. They have messed us around for a year now and despite putting in writing to us that we qualify for NHS funding months down the line when we were ready to start the treatment we have been told we don't and are expected to find £8000 with no payment plan option to proceed, giving us no time to find the money and being the only time actual costing has been spoken abiut. the reason our funding was refused is because our initial application forms have different addresses on them and for that reason we don't qualify. Not once throught this whole shambles have our addresses been questioned or we would have rectified this a year ago when we started this process. Lucky for us due to their incompetence throughout all this we havent actually started any treatment as I wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them and reading other reviews looks like we were right given that they have inserted someone else's eggs into a couple previously. Absolute appalling customer service, rude incompetent staff who are incapable of ringing patients back even when promised. We will be going elsewhere wouldn't spend another penny with this lot. This process is stressful enough you shouldn't have to experience this along side it. Stay clear and give yourself a chance by choosing a competent clinic to help you.

Had successful treatment (5 rounds of ICSI over 2 years) with this clinic. So grateful for our beautiful boy. Prices are clear and upfront (on their website) and the staff are helpful and friendly. Your personalised treatment diary ensures you know all of the stages. They also allow you to pay via a payment package offered by a third party to keep costs down (we used Access Fertility). Consultants are knowledgeable and willing to discuss alternative approaches if treatment repeatedly fails. They try to be realistic with you as IVF isn’t guaranteed to succeed. Looking forward to hopefully using them in the future to give our son a sibling.

It took 3 month for my gp referral to seacroft hospital, they said I can get one round free ivf. Then we booked an appointment went to hospital, first the nurse asked us to fill up all the forms, and still said we can get one round free. But after we paid £70 for amh blood test, another lady came out said we can’t get free round, because I didn’t hold uk passport. But my husband is British, and we both paid tax here. So they canceled us free ivf with this reason. Then my gp written a letter to ask what was going on. But their is no other further information from the hospital. So I tried to go oversea to do private ivf. Then the clinic oversea asked us to take ultrasound scan and other blood test. I booked the private 2minutes baseline ultrasound scan paid £200 at seacroft. I paid at a private room, that lady works at there was very rude, when I asked her to give me a copy of result. She just gave me a dirty look. then gave me one application to fill up the form to ask results, this form it said can up to 30 days to get results. I paid bloody £200, then I have to wait 30 days, waste my time and money. They just no helpful at all. and people work at there even don’t know who can get free ivf?? They gave you a hope and destroy it. When you told them you want the scan report to go to oversea clinic, they just make it most difficult for you. I regretted not go to any other hospital to do this scan. The most rude and unreasonable hospital ever. I’ll never go back to there again.

Professional to the last. The support and care we received was second to none. Our journey was long, but successful twice, what more could we ask? We are grateful for their expertise and we pray that all others who use them have a happy outcome. From the first moments on the phone with Sarah, to counselling, nursing, embryology and of course the unforgettable Dr Ashur, we have been treated with kindness and realism. We were never misled about the challenges. Never given false hope. We were simply given the facts. If you are in the unfortunate position to need their help, they will do all they can to provide it. There are no guarantees and they won't give you any, but our experience is that they will do their best. We wish them and anyone who chooses them blessings on their journey.

I went here few weeks ago and was so disappointed we paid over £6000 for doner eggs. I had two embryos emplaned in me but it never worked. Money grabbers! I brought all my test results from my previous doctor as all test been done recently and also to avoid to pay again for something what has been done already. So I showed all the results to the doctor and he said to me that I have to do all tests again here at London Clinic, what a joke! I told him that he has ALL RESULTS ON FRONT OF HIM ON HIS DESK!!!! And he said that he know but I have to do it again here…. It’s a joke NOT clinic. Instead of wasting your time by going there o talk to them you might just stand on front of the wall and talk to the wall, believe me you will get exactly the same results.

It started off well - but when it came to getting the results of our blood test back (which cost more than £1,200), we received zero communication for months, no e-mails/calls/post, or indeed anything, and had to chase things up to get to the bottom of the missing results ourselves. We were left sorely disappointed and decided to go elsewhere in the end as we feel they cannot be trusted to handle these types of personal issues competently. Speaking purely from my own experience, I would exercise caution here.

Awful place. I'm sure that your experience may be better if you're a paying customer, but if you're a donor don't expect a decent experience. I was led to believe that the risks in being a donor were slim, I was never told that because of my age or body weight I was a high risk. I ended up with moderate over-stimulated ovaries and am still suffering the consequences. It was never about financial compensation for me, it was always about helping and so had I been told that I was more at risk because of my age I would have waited until I was 30. I didn't google the risks because everyone knows that you shouldn't google medical things. Foolishly, I trusted them. This was a fault on my part, and it's a mistake I will not make again. I was hospitalised as a result of my donation. I am still not out of the woods. I was supposed to have a check up with the clinic but I rang to cancel as I was very unwell. No one answered so I left a voicemail. To date, no one has returned my call. Before the clinic had my eggs if I left a voicemail my call was returned the same day. Now they have my eggs, they couldn't care less. I've given up on ever hearing from them as they simply do not care. If you are going to donate, I would suggest you at least wait until you're 30 and I would suggest you discuss it with an NHS doctor who will give you all of the facts. Don't trust a private clinic that is going to financially benefit from your donation, because chances are they will play down the risks as they did with me. If anything my experience is confirmation that the NHS should remain as it is, and not become privatised. If it were not for the NHS picking up the pieces of this clinic's failings, I dread to think what might have happened.

I was an egg donor at Manchester Fertility Clinic. I was treated with greatest care during my stay at the clinic and I've also been under their care after my egg donation. I have to say Manchester Fertility have highly trained team in every department. I couldn't have asked for better treatment and clinic staff who toked care of me during the whole process. I was informed about each step during the process. They have even designed an app which helps you with taking medications as well as appointments and important info. Process of donating eggs itself was conducted in very profesional and caring way. Doctors and nurses informed me about everything and the team made me feel safe. If I could chose again I would donate my eggs again at this clinic without thinking twice. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars here.

Brilliant staff and facilities, thanks to them we have a beautiful baby girl. The doctors were knowledgeable, professional and really reassured us throughout the entire process. We were very impressed with how sympathetic they were when our first treatment was unsuccessful and would highly recommended them.

What an amazing experience! Up until 5 months ago I didn't even know donating eggs was something you could do. Although explained as invasive which can sound quite off putting,do not let this put you off!if you have the desire to help another family, do it!! the whole procedure from initial contact right through to the egg collection has been relaxed and an enjoyable experience. The part I dreaded the most was the injections, however they were so straight forward and easy to do with very little side effects. The egg collection procedure was easy, the nurses and Drs put you at ease from the beginning. Everyone I dealt with at MF from receptionists, to donor staff, Drs, nurses all were professional, supportive and an absolute asset!

Life Science Centre is somewhere you can spend the whole day and still not get round everything! So much to do and see. Lots of interaction displays. Highly recommend seeing the science theater show, if running, and a must is the planetarium shows along with the 5d motion ride. They have a main exhibition which changes every few months, so have went back everytime I've been visiting Newcastle as know that I will see something different and interesting each time! There is parking nearby or it's a few minutes walk from nearest train station/subway, so easily accessible

What a great place for kids and adults. Lots of hands on stations to suit everyone, with shows and a 3d ride. We visited as a group with ages ranging from 6 to 71 and we all enjoyed it. We were only there for 3 hours but could have easily stayed another 2 but had to leave to travel home.

A great place to visit, been on 5 school trips here now and always look forward to bringing the children for the day. Always organised and planned with accurate and helpful timings which allows the day to run smoothly. Shows, exhibits and workshops seemed to be reviewed regularly as they are often changed and adapted and I believe, always improved! A highlight is the 4D motion ride!

spent 45 minutes trying to find a parking space, was getting near to my appointment time so I parked outside on Ninewells Avenue and ran to the clinic to be shouted at by a consultant that I SHOULD ALWAYS BE ON TIME! AND THAT I SHOULD LEAVE THE HOUSE EARLIER. Wouldn't listen to any explanation just an arrogant individual who really shouldn't be a doctor, her solution is to use public transport still didn't understand that I am one of the few people who work for a living!! Made a formal complaint didn't do any good!!..... Also missed an appointment because I didn't receive the letter, How can that be my fault if I didn't know about it??? just arrogant people worst run hospital in the country.

After finally verification from my sister who was with her on ward,I tried to phone hospital on Thursday after 3 switchboard & 25 minutes on hold as no-one answering in admissions an operator bypassed & put me straight through to cardiac where once through a lovely nurse did try to connect me with my mum only to be cut off & having to start again.maybe less technology & more actual people might help.

I just wanted to leave a nice review about the Sleep clinic and ultrasound scan department. I have severe anxiety so I don't go out much but I went to these appointments just to appease the GP who said "work with the doctors" when she didn't know what she was chatting about. Anyway.. the professor from the sleep clinic was very nice, she was understanding, empathetic and listened, I wished my GP's were like her lol. The staff were nice here and the same as the ultrasound scan department, at least it would have shut the GP up even though I felt like it was a waste of the professors and the lady who did the scan's time.

I had laboured my first baby at the Ulster and vowed to go to a blind vet before I'd have another baby there. This pregnancy, my care was solely at the Royal and, even though I had borderline anxiety attacks at the thought of going to hospital for another baby, the staff were utterly incredible. My boy was born 13 weeks early and, although he's still in hospital, each and every member of staff has been so wonderful. My baby was born on 22nd december and all staff make every effort to calm us panicked mums with babies in NICU, to keep us focused and allay our fears without deception. The gratitude and adoration I have for these beautiful people is overwhelming- they do NOT get the credit they deserve for helping our babies and for being a rock during new mums most tumultuous time. Thank you, to each and every one of them. My husband and I will forever be in your debt for keeping our baby going strong xxx

Both babies delivered with no problems. Midwifes were very helpful but I would advise all new mums to read a bit about Labour as some I saw looked like they didn't know what for they came to the hospital. More prepared you are less care you need and less stressed you are.

Where do I start. I came here to be induced with my 1st baby when I was 2 days overdue as babys growth slowed. I went in at evening time could barely walk lol but was left waiting on a fold down chair for 45 minutes before anyone appeared. I do suffer from bad anxiety but I'm pretty co operative and polite with people. I finally put onto a induction suite with other women. Midwife who greeted me noticed the anxiety mentioned in notes and started treating me as if I were stupid. I had my partner with me as did other girls there. I'd barely been induced and they sent my partner home at 11 as it was night yet let the girl next to me have her partner stay until about 2. No one showed me were the nurse buzzer was either so when I when my waters broke a few hours after my partner had left I couldnt get anyones attention and had to sit in agony and wet for 15 mins. Finally a midwife came past and I told her, quickly transferred to a delivery room and was quite abrupt with me, I'm only 20 and it was my 1st so I was kind of scared. To sum it up, my partner almost missed the birth as they wouldnt call him when i begged them too, midwife kept shouting at me for "moving too much" and after baby was born I was quickly shoved into a bathroom and told to freshen up and be quick about it even though I kept passing out, then wheeled to the postnatal ward..barely checked on, and treated like I was stupid, and kept in for almost a week because no one bothered to do the correct checks in order for me to go home. While othees on my ward were being allowed to bath their baby I kept asking and so did my partner but they kept promising us then not mentioning it again. I appreciated the food each day but they are so understaffed and I feel some are prejudice against young mums.

The staff here make all the difference. When you arrive all the staff are welcoming, it doesn't feel overwhelming like other clinics. Prof Nardo is extremely knowledgeable and to the point. We wasted 2 years on the NHS and in the end they didn't test for what was ultimately our problem. I wish we had started this sooner. Thankfully we were successful on our 2nd attempt welcoming our son this year, even though being over 40 the odds were against us. Thank you.

Be careful on the African doctor with string accent and influential English who doesn’t know anything (no racism but he keeps his name card partially hidden, so I can only describe the some basic features). He will keep you waiting for 2 rounds, 2.5 hours but finally told you to go to another hospital. (Basically on the first round he told me they can’t help BUT someone else will come to help, but the next round he didn’t tell me anything else at all, almost the same thing “you need to go to another hospital as 2 hospitals have only one eye doctor”, though he’s defiantly lying). So unprofessional.

Had appointment at One Stop Breast Clinic. Was given this two weeks after GP referral. On arrival for a 1.30pm appointment I was called in bang on time. I was seen by a Consultant who took me through my questionnaire I had completed prior to my appointment. She then gave me a breast ultrasound and gave me a reassuring explanation of what she felt was my diagnosis. She then sent me down to radiology for a mammogram. I only had about a 10 minute wait for this after which I had to wait for a doctor to review the results. Again after about 10 minutes I was called by a nurse who informed me all was well and I could go. I was all done, given a diagnosis and out within an hour of arrival. An excellent service.

Why is the parking so poor, so expensive, driving around and around trying to find somewhere to park,. parking spots to narrow for cars ,no walking areas for visitors. Why not built a light weight modern multi storey parking solution above the car park you have with all the millions of pounds you are making from us.

If I could I’d give it 0 .. I was put on clandon ward because of swelling on my neck and face and could not swallow anything. The nurses barely ever checked up on me to see how I was doing , I kept having to ask for pain killers all the time and then they would never bring them so had to ask several more times. I was on iv antibiotics and then all of a sudden the doctors decided to take me off them and expected me to swallow oral medication when I still was un able to swallow much without consulting me first. I was also made to feel that I was pretending to be ill as they could not find the cause of why my neck was so swollen and hurting. There is no communication between staff and patients . My experience at Shirley Oaks was great. I was an NHS patient having a left inguinal hernia repair and after reading the reviews online I was apprehensive at the thought of attending this hospital. The staff i encountered were extremely helpful. The receptionist, nurses, cafe staff and the surgeons. All very professional. When I had my consultation, it was very fast and over with within 5 minutes. I felt that wasn't enough time to get my head around things and ask the Dr questions, However, he was amazing and has done a great job. Thank you. I would recommend this hospital as I have experienced nothing but care, attentiveness and a willingness to be helped by the staff here. One again, thank you.

Charlatans is what I describe BMI Shirley, these warning letters I keep getting from yourselves surely is illegal, stating bailiffs will come round to my house or I will be summoned to court for failing to attend a appointment as a result of incurring a incorrect charge of £55 (I simply rearranged my appointment for the week after and paid the fee on the day of around £150 but due to staff admin errors has highlighted me as missing a appointment resulting in a penalty fee). Believe you me I have tried ringing, emailing, speaking to BMI and collection services but not one person is capable of resolving my issue as they say the decision comes from the director of BMI Shirley and the only way of resolving this is by emailing her? I have tried emailing the director a few times but no replies, this has been going on for 3 years now and the letters keep getting more aggressive, what a way to treat one of your customers. I want to know where these customer penalty fees go to, it's obvious to me from reading other reviews that this happens quite often. This is outrageous, is this what you do? You prey on the weak, ill and elderly? And scare these people to paying nonsense incorrect penalties?

Good facilities, food and waiting time for treatment via private healthcare. Day nurses were however disappointing. One nurse was especially rude whenever asked questions and rarely checked-in to ask if the patient was ok after undergoing a major surgery. The consultant did a good job but only provided an explanation/summary of quite a major operation after being promoted. On that basis, I would only recommend this hospital as a lower-mid tier private health care option.

I gave birth to my 1st child here and the staff on the induction ward to the delivery unit were absolutely amazing. They delivered my baby safely and they were on the ball. The care on the postnatal ward, ward 47b wasn’t that great. They didn’t check on you or the baby and they took ages to come to you if you rang the buzzer. Some of the midwives on this ward seemed like they couldn’t be bothered.

The care of the nurses, doctors and anaesthetist were truly outstanding. I felt so cared for here, I would highly recommend. I came here through NHS treatment and had my own private room and felt very attended to. It was as pleasant an experience as it possibly could have been! - Olivia

I've had a few outpatient appointments with Consultants, Nerve Conduction studies, and a MRI scan here. It's a very mixed bag; the 3 stars are for the kind, sincere and warm staff that I encountered. The hospital is let down by the cold and rude receptionist on the main Outpatient reception, and also the administrative staff who loudly sniggered about a patient 'not having medicare' and obviously picking and choosing who they thought were worthy of a complimentary drink. I found them to be very judgemental and unprofessional - something I haven't ever witnessed in any other public or private hospitals.

I had a consultation with a Dr A J Pool at the BMI Esperance in Eastbourne in May17 and after 6 months of physio. Dr Pool was able to review an MRI I had done and give me an injection into my hip which whilst painful for two days afterwards left me able to walk and do chores normally after more or less being incapable of doing anything for six months. I had a follow-up a few weeks later and all was good. More than six months on all still good. Great hospital and great service. I look forward to using them again if needed.

We love the Agora! From the amazing staff who we found to be kind, caring, considerate and very reassuring, to the welcoming and non-clinical atmosphere, we would totally recommend the Agora to anyone! We were always kept well informed of what was happening and why/when and were never made to feel anything but relaxed the whole way through. Although I was terrified of the unknown, after the first appointment I felt totally at home. We went to visit today with our Agora Baby and it was so lovely to be welcomed back, I have no doubt at all that we made the right choice when choosing this clinic! When the time is right we will definitely be going back for round 2 😁

We were told from the outset what our chances were. We were 38 when we started with the Agora, and things moved very quickly. We can understand why some people would be upset when things don’t work out, and at the first round, where we were unsuccessful, we were told frankly that it hadn’t worked. After that first go, treatment was amended, and we were then successful, having a beautiful baby boy. We found everyone at the Agora to be brilliant, highly supportive and very professional, and one of the happiest days of our lives occurred when we took our three month old son there to see everyone again. Had we not been successful, we had been informed about counselling services available. Very highly recommended.

I cannot recommend the Agora highly enough. From the start, to the end of the treatment, our care was wonderful. Each step of the process is carefully explained, and the clinic staff are always available to support and advise as needed. Each and every person we spoke to at the clinic was caring, professional and friendly- in particular, i felt that the kindness and care shown to us by Mel was exceptional, she really did go above and beyond to ensure our experience was a positive one. The treatments are fairly priced in our opinion and we found the staff approachable, and very willing to discuss all options, possibilities and ideas. It’s a beautiful, clean clinic and a place where you feel instantly at ease. I am very grateful to the Agora and can safely say that booking that first appointment truly changed my life!

I cannot rate The Agora Clinic more highly. The staff were welcoming, caring and compassionate from the outset. The expertise from the medical team was outstanding and supportive throughout. Against all the odds I had a beautiful baby boy after the first cycle of IVF. I would definitely recommend The Agora Clinic to anyone seeking fertility treatment.

The reality is this team of people get results. The daily blood tests, wait times and sometimes difficulty communicating are absolutely honest feedback but when you get the positive result of having a baby there is nothing else that matters. Room for improvement - yes. Would I do it again - yes....a million times over.

As with many couples, ARGC was our last chance after failed treatments elsewhere. They take a personalised tailored approach to each patient. You are constantly monitored and you should expect a lot of blood tests, scans and drugs. Not cheap, but if you want results, I’d recommend ARGC over other clinics.

Being a patient at the Bridge centre has been a wonderful experience for us. We have been extremely lucky and have two beautiful babies, a girl in 2012 and a boy in 2018 using the frozen embryo from our first IVF cycle. From the initial meeting with our consultant, we knew that we wanted to start our fertility treatment at the Bridge centre. My treatment plans felt tailored to me, our doctor listened to our concerns and explained procedures in great detail. The bridge centre was always available if I had any questions. All the staff I have met with at the Bridge centre have been friendly and caring. My daughter loves visiting our consultant and the nursing team. The bridge centre has given us our family and words cannot express how thankful we are!

I was shocked to see the negative reviews on this page, People are quick to tell people about the bad things & never the good so I felt it was important to let everyone know what The Bridge did for my family! At what was the most stressful, heart breaking years of our life - The Bridge gave us hope. The nurses and doctors were always supportive & encouraging. In 2012 they helped make our dreams come true! 5yrs on we have a beautiful clever little girl that one day in the not so distant future (we hope & pray) she will be a big sister as we return for our frozen embryos! We are forever grateful to The Bridge & will never forget what you did for us.

I had excellent care at CRGH. I had been to a different clinic previously and the step up in the level of care was remarkable. Dr Saab was extremely thorough and always took the time to explain everything (he speaks very fast so i wrote everything down and had to get him to pause!). I did not feel that he recommended treatments to me that were unnecessary and quite often he would refer to treatments and then say that he did not feel that I was at that stage yet so i always felt fully informed. It does add up and it is expensive but it is very much worth it if you can manage it. The sonographers and the nurses were all so lovely and i always felt that they genuinely cared about the outcome. Despite all the horror stories i think i was only left waiting once and on quite a few occasions my appointments were early. I could not recommend highly enough.

As a very proud Mummy of 2 CRGH miracle babies, it’s hard to put into words quite how grateful we are to them. When we thought our gorgeous family would never happen, they made it. I cannot recommend them enough. Every member of the team is lovely, helpful and friendly, the clinic’s facilities are great and they are amazing at what they do.

Booked in for couples fertility tests- staff is nice enough though quite dismissive, nurse was lovely. Unfortunately, this place has huge financial targets to meet & it shows. Understandably the bottom line is that patients want results, however, the brash, in-out manner employed is awful. They charge extortionate amounts and even so their manner leaves much to be desired. An assessment is just that and even though CRGH is a fertility clinic, there are various levels and options involved regarding fertility which need to be customised to each patients needs. Unfortunately CRGH fell short with this- no options, alternatives, or anything other than IVF we’re discussed. Biggest doozy though- even though results were good for both me & hubby, Dr we saw for follow-up insisted we do IVF repeatedly, gave us no alternative options and embarrassingly the ultrasound, blood tests & Dr didn’t pick up that I was already pregnant (which I didn’t know at the time)!! Missed it completely!! Even with leading questions to the Dr at follow-up who just just interested in selling her IVF treatment!! We didn’t even bother telling her, her consultation was inadequate and she had no interest other than securing an IVF booking. As a medical precessional myself I expect higher standards. Not impressed!!

We certainly didn't make it easy for CRGH (poorer than expected response to stims, poor fertilisation rate, only one embryo that passed PGS and then a long process to transfer due to uterine lining breaking down), but through it all CRGH (esp Dr Seshadri, her PA, the nursing staff, the sonographers and the embryologists) worked so hard to help us and were so caring along the way. Even the receptionists at CRGH helped ... they knew when to be chatty, when to leave you be, when to chase for paperwork and when to chase for appointments. We just felt in very safe and efficient hands throughout the whole difficult process. In the end we conceived naturally but I am 100% convinced this was as a result of some of the things we and CRGH learned about my body through my treatment and a suggestion Dr Seshadri and the team of consultants made about something to try when we were ready to try again on our own. For that I will forever be in their debt and I am forever grateful - the key was they didn't give up and they treated me as an individual.

I have no words to describe how we were treated during our initial consultation and subsequent phone calls. We did not choose CRGH based on their poor customer service and insensitive and unprofessional consultant. Unfortunately they don't have a complaint procedure.

Took my partner to a&e as she had some sort of bug and due to other gealth issues she needed checked . The attitude of nurse who did the initial assesment left a lot to be desired and when she was finally transferred to a ward she waited over 6 hours for something for her headache and most of the night shift nurses where rude and abrupt. Its not the first time i have taken a family member to this hospital and each time the attitudes of nurses gets worse, there are some who are really nice but they are few and far between.

Sat patiently for 2.5hrs without being acknowledged by triage, politely questioned my waiting time at reception, only to be informed they had called my name previously (not sure how I'd missed it, as I didn't leave the room out of respect for the queue system) and was now facing a further 5hr wait. I relayed my frustration to the receptionist that checked me in, was offered no form of apology, and in the end left with my partner in tears, notably upset and in acute pain. To top it off, I diligently payed my parking toll only to find the exit barrier had been left up. As a pharmacist within the NHS, I have never been so disappointed in the institute I have dedicated so many years of my life serving.

Thank you to Dr Marie Wren and the team for all you have done in making it happen, more than once! Your approach, values and caution in safety and well-being is how you differ. It is disappointing to read some emotionally charged reviews though it is a stressful time for most. The doctors/consultants are professionals, and determined in helping you cross the line. What more do you want?! prices are clear and are in line with others. You go in regularly for tests so of course you see a spectrum of staff members but the doctors are continuously working behind the scenes so please don’t knock them. And the waiting time is not long. May be if you miss your slot you will have to wait to be seen until another becomes available. There is no point going through all this if you can not sit down, and are not in the right mindset. Friends who have not reviewed have been extremely happy with their experiences at The Lister. Don’t hesitate to ask them questions, try to be positive, confident and stay calm! Good luck to all

After 5 years of unsuccessful IVF attempts in France, we moved to London and registered with the Lister Clinic 18 months ago. We are now expecting a baby girl for end of April! We cannot praise enough the quality of the clinic and its great staff. The medical staff is highly skilled, very human and shows a lot of empathy. All the explanations provided were always clear, we felt very well supported every step of the way. The process is structured and organised and it is reassuring to see that you are being very well taken care of. All in all, we cannot think of a better team to have accompanied us for such an emotionally and sometimes physically exhausting journey!

The clinic is very good. The main advantage of it is the fact that all doctors work together as a team. As a results patients are seen when it is best for them (unlike in other clinics -some of which put patients on the pill to regulate period to fit their schedule). As a results I have seen more than one doctor but it was better as I got amazing results with 13 eggs frozen (I am almost 37). Dr Wren worked very hard with the whole team to get the max number of eggs. All doctors and nurses are highly regarded and are very approachable. Lister have latest equipment. I have friends who have babies using Lister. See my IG jojostyle28 for further details.I am going back in Feb for the next round

Do not use this clinic. Their patient care is below substandard - you see a different each appointment so there is absolutely no point in choosing your doctor. Dr Wren was appalling, the only notes she wrote after our first 1 hour meeting was that my partner didn't want children (nothing about my medical history!!) and the 24 hour helpline doctor refused to advise me on how to administer the drugs as she was watching television at home and insisted that I went the the Lister Clinic at 1 in the morning and that I should to find a random on duty nurse in the clinic to help me. When I registered a formal complaint regarding this - the only response the hospital had was that the member of staff was away at present so they could not comment! I could write a few more paragraphs regarding failure in duty with regards to patient care and will do so when I have more time as it is important that others know what care they will be provided at this clinic who markets themselves as a leader in the industry. I refused to pay the last part of my bill, not to try and 'save' some money but purely out of principle as I strongly believed they were negligent in their duty of care. You go to this clinic to get the expertise but it is simply not provided. My strong advice is avoid this clinic, avoid Dr Wren and go to a smaller outfit where you see the same doctor at every appointment and the doctors actually do their best to ensure your success rather than a new doctor justs reads your notes for 1 minute and then advises on change of prescription of drugs Pls feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss my experience at the Lister hospital. NB the review from K within the reviews is clearly written by someone at the hospital as much of what they have written is simply not true. I would advise anyone looking at using this clinic to look at the negative reviews not the positive.

I cannot thank the team at the Lister enough. We came here after three failed cycles of ICSI and were devastated and heartbroken as we were (relatively) young a more positive prognosis had been expected when we began. The Lister was recommended to me by a friend of a friend who had her baby with them and they too had been up against it. She spoke of the compassion she experienced with Dr. Wren and I have to say I couldn't agree more. I work in health and am not afraid to speak up if I am not happy. I was also a bit stressed at the idea of going abroad. The nursing staff and embryology were outstanding. The level of clinical care is excellent and they actually made it easier than in my home country extending warmth, efficiency and flexibility explaining complex instructions by speaker phone, if I couldn't make the call in working hours they rang back and no matter how busy they were I knew they would call. It's a service I could place my trust in. The team couldn't work harder on your behalf but hold a space for empathy but with a calm equanimity. Surgically, there was no comparison - I used to walk home after egg collection - a good half hour walk whereas previously I'd have been hobbling for a couple of days. We, against all odds had our twin girls with Dr. Wren and the team. On cycles where it hadn't worked as expected the embryology were 'don't give up hope'. That and their highly professional attitude helps more than anything they will every know. It hadn't been my experience elsewhere and we sought several second opinions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Wren and the team and have done so. The cost of fertility are shocking but this clinic was no more expensive than anywhere else we had been or looked at. We were stretched and with time and money you have to make careful choices and I am so glad we went to the Lister. I had no issue with cover on the occasion where it arose but have to say Dr. Wren is second to none - and I say that despite having had difficult conversations with her, she remained open and every now and again I get an email enquiring after the girls and wishing us luck (we are not done yet I hope... and I wouldn't go anywhere else) And the best of luck to anyone reading this..

Please do not donate or purchase genetic material from here - The care for the donors is absolutely abismal. I donated three years ago and still no one will tell me if there has been a result. They forget that donors are real people and that our DNA actually means something to us. To them it's just a product that they pretty much manipulate out of you through lip service and smiles. How that all changes once they get what they want.

If I could give no stars I would - this one star is only dedicated to their receptionists - the only people there that greeted us with a smile. I work with patients myself daily and can't believe the doctors chair side manner... let's start at the beginning, 1) My partner requested a woman for the examination, we booked this months in advance after attending the seminar. We travelled from Dorset to stay in London to have the blood tests on the Wednesday and then the fertility test on the Saturday. We were told on the last day, just before the examination, that my partner couldn't have a female doctor (even though it was offered) and she would have to sign a form to say she is happy with a male or we would need to rebook - thus resulting in an absolutely wasted journey and not to mention the costs for staying and getting to London - all perfectly avoided if they had just said when we booked the appointment that there were just male doctors that day (something we try and offer our patients in the surgery I work in) 2) Being called in by the nurse prior to seeing the doctor. She seemed extremely rushed, told us she was faster at writing by hand on a scrap notepad (with multiple other patients information on) rather than type on the computer - clearly GDPR regulations are not a priority in the London women's clinic. She proceeded to mix me and my partner up by getting our names wrong... she had our medical histories AND driving licences. This appointment cost us £500 - I never want to feel rushed if I have spent this much for a consultation. Both myself and my partner explained we wanted to get information on the stage of our fertility and being both in our 20's we were interested in donating as well as freezing eggs. 3) He called us in and went through our medical histories, getting through my partners fine, when we told him we want to find out our fertility and then see our options, he became aloof as if, if we aren't taking up any treatment, why are we wasting his time. 4) My medical history, well, all I can say is one word, tact, not hard. That medical degree and no tact!?! He just went on about my weight - I would understand if I was 25 stone + but I'm not. Also I was not seeking to have treatment done that day, I went on to explain that I am on a weight loss program and actually have lost some weight. Regardless of this, he then proceeded to say 'You won't get away with this (being overweight) forever'. Can we just take a second to take that in. This man is about to do an internal examination on me and he won't stop going on about my weight. The clinic won't treat anyone over a 30 BMI (not stated at all by any staff at the seminar prior to our visit). I said that as we are just looking for information would it be worth having the examination? (seeing as he seemed so disgusted with my weight). He said I should still have the examination in case he found anything wrong. Needless to say, I felt mortified, I get that sometimes we have to tell patients about their weight, smoking or drug habits - funnily enough I have to do it at work, but I do it with tact, no judgement or disgust, just tact. 5) The examination - BE AWARE the rooms have the examination foot of the bed FACING the door to the waiting room... yep... you have to undress there, get on the bed, legs akimbo facing the door. The doctor entered to do my partners examination - he proceeded to touch the equipment that would actually be going inside my partner with no gloves - cross infection fail! and then after getting it ready he gloved up and pushed the glove down on one hand un-gloved (renders the sterile glove rather moot) - cross infection fail again. He was extremely rough with us both, leaving us with tears running down our face without so much of a 'are you okay?'. I've had internal examinations before and never felt so bruised. Seeing him do that to my partner made me feel sick to my stomach. Conclusion: DON'T BE SEEN HERE. Make sure your BMI is under 30. They just care about money.

The seminars at the London Women's Clinic are amazing! they made me feel at ease, gave very detailed advice on investigations and treatment options. There was also a helpful Q&A session which put us all at ease. I would definitely recommend attending!

The payment was so unclear. It was given by the nurse on a piece of paper and she kept adding and deleting costs so both of us got very confused. Although we paid £500 for the initial consultation/tests, I decided not to proceed with this place last year. I felt that they were taking advantage of the patients (although you would be very surprised by their seminars, they do them very well).

We started our IVF process through the new clinic in Nuffield Hospital, Brentwood. Then had the procedures done at Harley street. Amazing service currently 5 months pregnant on our first attempt.

It’s ok, the bit I go to is quite modern which is nice as the rest of the hospital is very dated. Staff are helpful and friendly. A lot of the clinics tend to run behind by a lot so always expect a long wait. Disabled parking is a bit of a joke. There’s never any spaces unless you go at 7am, I normally have to park in wormwood scrubs car park and have to walk which is not fun when you have mobility issues.

The nursing staff and doctors are excellent and really do care about you the patient! The hospital is modern and exceptionally clean and up to date. The down side is some of the reception staff are singularly lacking in courtesy?

3 bad experiences here. First, waited a very long time to get a copy of my medical records. Second, asked a doctor for a copy of my medical report that he was sending my GP -this was refused .This is a legal right, unless they specify why not. He did not specify why not. Thirdly , went to collect a friend who had a colonoscopy. He had informed the hospital to tell me how he was - they refused to tell me how he was. And they should not have discharged him, he was unfit to be discharged. Doctors and nurses refused to speak to me when he was discharged.

Given the large number of visitors, the staff at the A&E handled their situation very well. I saw a great doctor today. He let me voice my personal medical concerns, listened attentively to everything that I said, checked my symptoms, was clearly very knowledgeable and thorough in his advice, and was very polite and caring throughout. As medical issues are very serious, I can't praise this doctor enough. I haven't stated his name in case he, or the hospital, would prefer that I didn't. However, he demonstrated all of the great qualities that I hope to find in medical staff.

I arrived at 7.20am early was due to be there at 8am. 9am still no one had called my name. The receptionist had forgotten me. The Radiologist, nursing staff, all those in the radiology room wdhere marvelous. The domestic staff let the hospital down. While the doctor was talking to me a cleaner came behind the curtain and swept the floor. The domestic doing meals you couldn't understand. It's very difficult to get through on the phone to speak with anyone. It is let down by admin. A lot of receptionist are not trained in people skills. But the Dr's and nursing staff you cant fault.

Wales largest main teaching hospital which covers a huge array of medical and surgical specialities, plus other wide ranging services, huge complex which can be tricky to navigate around, badly sign posted. If you are attending out patients make sure you allow time to find parking space if driving, but the good side is the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, no matter how busy they are.

Today I had an appointment at the Breast Clinic. I just want to commend the fantastic staff there. I was a nervous wreck and they were so kind, compassionate, and caring and this made it so much easier for me. I was terrified, and the time they took meant so much to me. I'd especially like to thank Heather and Kira. Angels do walk this earth!

Have visited the Minor Injuries unit a number of times and they are Great! There isn't a very long queue, the staff are well trained and even when exceptionally busy, they are still warm and welcoming (with the exception of one nurse on one occasion, but that could have been a really bad day). A very good but under utilised resource in the area.

We found Wessex fertility excellent from beginning to end. Fertility is obviously a complex and very personal experience so everyone's experience will be different. We found the explanation and care very good and can highly recommend the satellite clinic at Candover in Basingstoke.

If you are looking for an egg donor, please read and take into consideration the following: Once I signed up to become and egg donor, from my first initial query right to the very last communication, I had to chase Wessex for an update. After every test, every consolation... Everything! Information provided was minimal and communication internal and external - Terrible. After 6 months of waiting/chasing for updates, chasing for test results and being told on serval occasion that they were now ready and/or finding me a match, I suddenly receive a letter (of all forms of communication!) Telling me that I could not donate. To say that I was heartbroken would be an understatement - After being told so many times it would go ahead, apparently they 'forgot' to test me for something and when they did, it turns out something within my genetics meant that if I donated and the potential receiving parents had the same thing, it could cause complications. After asking multiple times, they never did clear up if I can't donate or if they just didn't want to screen potential parents to ensure my genetics wouldn't cause a problem. I hate to be negative, especially when surrounding such a sensitive topic but I feel I need to be honest about my experince. I would have loved to have been able to give this gift and while its not necessarily Wessex's fault that I am unable too, they unfortunately made this whole process extremely lengthy, painful and a lot more difficult than ever necessary! It took over 6 months for Wessex to finally come to the decision of no. I'm sure a lot of people considering to donate would have given up sooner than that and I genuinely hope that after this experience that Wessex will change the way they treat people that are trying to do something out of the kindness of their hearts.

I would not recommend this facility in Poole. While the procedures were carried out in Southampton satisfactorily the attention to detail in poole was poor. If the consultant had been more thorough with my wife's blood test results before embarking on an expensive and invasive protocol none of it would have been necessary. We did not get a baby because my wifes thyroxine levels were not right. The monitoring and adjusting of these was left up to us and was not double checked before protocol began. Dissatisfied, we got a second opinion in Dorchester with r Dooley who immediately spotted a problem with the hormone therapy my wife was under and referred to a specialist in London. Between them and my wife's GP they got the hormones where they should be at minimal expense and we conceived naturally. So in summary Wessex are very good at up selling techniques but not good at ensuring that you have the best chance of success. Go elsewhere in my opinion.

I've been here many times not just for myself but with others. We have always received the best service possible by the excellent staff. Yes sometimes we have had long waits but you can't blame the staff or NHS for that can you. Given the resources available to them they work miracles and should be more rewarded for what they do.

As always stunning serviceThursday last from A&E 8,5 hours visit which included 4 hours in bay treatment - you guys and girls are angels what you have to put up with. Faultless medical attention, kept informed and treated with upmost care and professionalism just wanted to say thank you . It’s heart breaking to witness you being shouted and moaned at by people with different issues and wanted to say sincere thank you for all you do - it’s appreciated and valued by a bigger majority.

Just come out of Yeovil hospital after a 5 day stay. The nurses were great and felt well cared for. The only let down I felt was being kept informed of what was going on As I was given 3.different leaving days. A 5 minute chat each day about medication and what's going on would be great

I was taken to YDH yesterday (29/10/18) morning after falling from my horse and I could not have received better or more prompt attention. I was seen straightaway and scans and x-rays followed soon thereafter. When so much criticism is levelled at our remarkable NHS we should hear more of the Good News stories.

Waited near to a Year for an appointment for an operation. Arrived at 11:30, one member of staff was very rude whilst the other was very nice and kind. Was informed at 3:30pm that my appointment had been cancelled, and that they would place me on priority. I am already a priority operation and I was also told I had my appointment cancelled 2 hours prior, but no one had come to tell me that it had been cancelled. Extremely terrible organisation skills and no one speak to each other to pass information. Not all staff are at fault but it's an absolute state of a place

My husband had a hernia operation here, the doctors and nurses couldn't do enough for him efficiency was fantastic ( not what we are used to) as our county would not do the operation? I had heard good reports about Yeovil from friends so asked our GP if we could be referred. It deserves this recognition for the great care and efficiency of all the staff. 10/10.
