2012’s Top Pushchair for Value for Money

Your new addition is a pure delight but with so many things to purchase, store and consider, you may finding yourself seeking simply a good all-rounder at the right price.

If you’re a young family, there’ll be plenty of time to splash out later. Meanwhile, we’ve hunted through the best quality pushchairs to find you the right one for your budget.

So what have we chosen?
The Graco Evo

Graco Evo Pushchair – Lime

Who is it for?
Anyone and everyone – but we think young, busy families will particularly rate this carriage.

In a nutshell:
The Greco Evo is this year’s winner on all-round value. With attractive design, two-way facing system and pram-conversion capability, we think the Evo is cleverly designed and user-friendly.

A light carriage at just 8kg, the Evo has been created to be a complete baby-travel package – all for a few hundred pounds.

The seat can lie flat for newborns, although many families still opt for the carrycot at an extra £99. The carrycot can fold flat when you’re not using it – a real storage bonus – and it is quick and easy to assemble. You can also fix the Graco Junior Baby 0+ car seat (£89) to the frame. All of the attachments are easily identifiable in matching grey and the Evo even has a handy (and very big) shopping basket.

Ideal for mums on the go, the Evo is easy to fold and includes rubberised fabric at the point where the pushchair meets the floor when folded, making it much easier to clean – always a welcome feature for tired mums!

What does it cost?
£279, with an extra £99 for the carrycot, and £89 for a Graco car seat.

Any drawbacks?
If you or your partner is especially tall, this may not be the pushchair for you, as the handle height is not adjustable. The brakes press down, but you’ll need to flick your toe up to click them off – bad news for open toe sandal-wearers!
