Pushchair Guide – Cosatto Wow

Pushchair Guide Summer 2018 – Cosatto Wow

Starting price of £624.95.

The Cosatto Wow (pictured here in Fox Tale) is an award winning pushchair – and it’s easy to see why. With great British design and craftsmanship, value for money and eye catching patterns, the Cosatto Wow is solidly built to last. And with a cracking 4 year guarantee, you don’t have to worry.

Designed to grow with your baby, the Cosatto Wow is a carrycot, which converts into a pushchair and is also car seat compatible (though this is extra). Everything you and your baby needs from birth to toddler (25kg) and no need to buy 2 seperate ones.

We are really impressed with this versatile pushchair which is available in bold, stimulating designs (Fox tale, fjord, golightly3, hygge houses, posy, dawn chorus and more).

The Facts

Although built to last, the Cosatto Wow is solid yet lightweight (chassis 4.9kg, carrycot 4.9kg, chair 2.26) meaning it’s easy to manoeuvre into the boot of the car as and when needed.

The carrycot is snug and suitable from birth and has a deep mattress for extra comfort and a removable, washable liner. Designed to make mum and dad’s life easier, the carrycot has a single hand release so you can quickly and easily lift the cot off the chassis.

When your munchkin has outgrown the carrycot, you can swap to the reversible seat, which has parent and world-facing options. Its structured, wide and deep seat provides plenty of support and room to grow, as does the adjustable calf support feature. The seat comes with a UPF50+ protection sun hood with extendable visor which provides ample shade. The material can be wiped clean and hand washed if needed. The seat also has a one-handed recline function which is ideal for multi-tasking!

We love that the wheels are removable for easy cleaning – no more mess if you’ve been out in the mud! On top of this, they have puncture-proof rubber skin tyres which makes moving on rough terrain a piece of cake. Combine this with the lockable wheels for tight spots, and suspension, and the Cosatto Wow is a breeze to manoeuvre.

The extra large basket is a God-send – it’s easy to access and has a decent amount of space between it and the cot/chair above. It also features zippered compartments and a bottle holder. And the telescopic handle can be adjusted for both the taller and shorter among us.

The Cosatto Wow converts into a travel system; the chassis can also carry a car seat but this requires additional fixings which need to be purchased separately. The good news is that it is compatible with car seats from other brands.

Interesting Features

The reversible seat gets points from us – particularly for how easy it is to switch between world-facing and parent-facing positions. It also has four different recline positions for comfort when your little one falls asleep.

The adjustable leg rest is something you don’t usually see but it’s a really useful tool for keeping baby comfortable.

Folding

Folding and unfolding the Cosatto Wow couldn’t be simpler. Simply use the two levers on each side of the chassis to fold and unfold. It pops up and compacts down smoothly, and fits into smaller cars. When folded the pushchair measures a portable 82x58x31cm.

What We Love

Cosatto are so confident in the build quality of the Wow that they have provided a free 4 year guarantee! Who wouldn’t love this? That’s more than double the guarantee on most other pushchairs.

We couldn’t write review of this pushchair without mentioning the incredible design options. How gorgeous is the fox tale design and colour scheme? It’s even printed on the interior of the carrycot and sunhood to stimulate your little one.

Also, no review would be complete without a mention of the humongous basket that comes with the Cosatto Wow. What makes this one better than others? The bottle holder, zippered compartments, and amount of space between it and the chair/carrycot above so you can fit more than just the bare essentials.

What We’re Not So Taken With

The brake is positioned in a way that means sometimes it can get kicked, and the five way fastening of the straps on the seat of the pushchair can seem a bit fiddly to begin with, but this is very minor and it doesn’t but doesn’t take long to get the hang of it.
