Good doctors and nurses, maybe, however, stay away from sleep studies and so-called “sleep lab”(!). The most incompetent and unprofessional service you would ever get at this hospital. Avoid sleep studies / sleep lab in this hospital. The hospital will be sure to charge you £2.4k in return for the worst service imaginable. More specifically, the sleep-lab-physiologist/technician is probably the most incompetent and -to say the least- recklessly unprofessional hospital personnel I’ve ever encountered. I was in utter dismay, thinking to myself, this can’t be a hospital! So, in a nutshell, Avoid this place! However, one must say, we were lucky to have the understanding support of the nurses of the neurological unit (gratitude goes to them) in effort to try and remedy the reckless absence of the single sleep-lab-physiologist/ technician responsible, who decided to go home and not answer the phone in spite of an ongoing sleep study that night in the hospital. Utterly unacceptable hospital service! Better turn it into a hotel or, more befitting, a hostel! Sent from my iPhone

You have to be White with insurance or Arab to get treated nicely, the GP that I went to a few times was very reluctant in caring and advising any further examination, it’s like I had to push him for what was needed. Instead of paying attention to details of my illness and proceeding with any tests necessary he was trying to gauge my wealth and judge me. And when I did the tests, he couldn’t even bother to give me a call to discuss the results but he sure likes to charge 150 pounds for 10 mins consultations which consists of asking completely unrelated questions. When I come up to a hospital like this and don’t have insurance it means that I can/am willing to pay for whatever is need, up to my capability.

Spent the day here and found that it was well organised, departments communicated and used common sense with regards the needs of the patient. I had some training with a nurse who was fantastic at explaining everything step by step and answered all the questions I had wanted to ask. Facilities were great , toilets, restaurants shops, lots of children’s play areas, WiFi, TVs and lovely staff to top it all.

I'd normally give a 5 star but this time we had the most grumpiest, rudest nurses on 2 shifts that shows no compassion or care of a child with a fear of being a cannula fitted. They didn't listen to advice given, spoke about how a previous nurse had tried putting the cannula in wrong and overall they were not the kind of people I wanted caring for my child. I was glad to get out after 24 hrs.

Absolutly disgusted with the HR Administration Department. Unproffesional and unqualified staff and as a result this has caused a financial burden on my family. Stop using your donations for your commision and use it on finding relevant staff for your hospital

Apart from epu unit and one specific doctor at labour ward and her team the rest do their duties as follows. Lost of blood results by antenatal under 16 weeks checks. While taking blood the lead nurse toke the bar code and promised that she will follow it from her own diary. Consultant at antenatal not checking urine or blood pressure which has resulted in urine infection found two days later in triage and just copying and pasting from triage records the old blood pressure data which were two or three days old. Most common comments used “very anxious couple” Consultant using fone while conducting the antenatal clinics and rushing ,to pick up her kid from School which is understandable but not at cost of some one else kid or health. I have reported it ward manager, and since that she has been taking it personal. She has sent the letter to local council child’s protection about the fathers behaviour, it was only when I have logged a complaint against her in chief executive office but I think the words were shared with her instead being independently reviewed so not trust worthy I do not know do I have to go GENERAL MEDICAL COUNCIL and report this consultant to them. Triage staff using NHS computer for shopping online, at night sleeping at patient beds and telling us over the phone there is long wait time not want you to bother her sleep while there was no one the ward. Upon arrival found her sleeping came to open door after few rings of wards With low movement at week 25 went there she put the CTG machine heard as week 35 luckily it was not harmful. Though the notes were handed over to her upon arrival, did not bothered to read or take note of what is state. Triage staff recording the result of 157 which show very high volumes as 15 which is very low confirmed by second visit from antenatal to triage,it was a very important test. Unnecessary induction was suggested at week 36 visit, which has resulted mental distraction on my wife and movement Reduction even before the suggested date caused really Painful delivery , At labour after losing 900 ml of blood the blood taken for test were lost at the machine taking blood from one ward to another for testing twice. The most important things is the post natal wards where all professional and knowledgeable midwives are assigned to paid rooms, I had only noticed it when my kids was discharged without the checking the jaundice or temperature, questioned that we were given a nurse from paid ward for two hours you could see the difference. The kid Had to stay two more days despite being discharged by the unprofessional nurse without checking anything. To support the above follow the BBC article where it has been claimed that maternity unit makes 400 errors daily.

Outstanding; caring professionals. I have received the best care I could imagine on arrival of our son. The midwives in the centre were excellent and delivered our baby safely although the birth was not an easy one. Post natal care in the birth centre was excellent. Even after being discharged I could count on them and give a call to a birth centre to ask for an advice when needed. We are both very grateful to all staff of the birth centre.

I have had two children at Queen Charlotte's, my second one last week, and I would unhesitatingly recommend it. The staff are unfailingly kind, compassionate and professional. My first pregnancy was very complicated and risky. It was handled expertly, giving me complete confidence in my medical team. I chose to return for my second baby. She was thankfully less complicated but I still received a very high standard of care, including the obstetrician of my choice and exactly the birth plan I wanted. My interactions with other parts of the maternity service (midwife helpline, birth centre, maternity triage, etc) were all good. Four stars, not five, because the antenatal clinic is utterly chaotic. I saw a different midwife at every appointment and the appointments usually ran at least an hour late. The midwives were all excellent but I felt a lack of continuity of care and support. Overall, a very positive experience.

Dr. Sebastian Winkler was extremely thorough in his approach and was able to quickly identify the issue and recommend a course of action to remedy. I was impressed that he took the time to clearly provide a logical explanation of how his diagnosis stacked up with the manifestation of the symptoms. Dr. Sebastian Renz has been absolutely super in dealing with a recent issue. He took the time out to follow up in person to confirm that the suggested course of treatment was addressing the issue. Impressive.

I was admitted to to the CCU in October where I spent two and half weeks in the care of the most wonderful people on this planet. Without exception they were fantastic. I was made to feel safe and secure, my treatment was state of the art and my recovery and aftercare has been very successful thus far, I feel fitter than I have for 20 years. Don't let the Tory's destroy the NHS.

The Cardiac Unit are simply amazing. I had a heart attack on the 24th April and was admitted to the hospital. The team were welcoming and reassuring making sure I was kept informed at all times with what was going on and what will happen next. Very friendly. Reassuring and you could see the excellent team dynamics amongst the team members as they worked to ensure our well being. I will be forever grateful to the Consultant who did my Echo scan who came back to see me after dealing with an emergency to reassure me that fitness goals I had been working on CAN still happen and allowing me to talk about my fears and worries. Thank you to the whole team. You are Life Savers. !

BEWARE THE NIGHT STAFF. Imagine you have had 2 back surgeries within a week, can't move your legs and can't control your bowels. My mums partner is currently going through this and has been treated awfully by the night staff. At 12:30 he wanted his nappy changed and was in pain called the bell. A nurse came so he told her what he wanted. She left and didn't come back. Haft hour later he called the bell again, a different nurse turned up so he told her what had happened and that he needed a blanket and a change. She left and didn't come back. An hour and a half later he called the bell again, yet AGAIN, the nurse left and didn't come back. At about 6:30 in the morning he called the bell again. The first nurse turned up said he wasn't aloud a blanket and left. Change of shift at 7 came by. He said he needs changing and finally the new staff listened. He has a wound on his back just above the full nappy. He was in a dirty happy filled with excrement for 7 HOURS. Would you leave a baby in a soiled nappy for 7 hours? I don't know whether this counts as medical neglegance but I will be seeking legal help. If I could give no stars I would.

They should knock it down and start again! They send you appointment txts that are just to turn up in a dept, I wanted Neurology, I spoke to 26 different people that worked in the building over 50minutes and nobody knew where it was, after being trapped inside this maze for 50mins I asked one nurse "how do I get out!!?" She said "I'm not sure, let's ask someone!" Your kidding! One day there will be a fire here and 100's will die . Worst hospital in England.

I stayed on the Endoscopy ward under the care of Mr Stylianides. From arrival to departure I was looked after, with all staff going the extra mile. My consultant kept me informed every step of the way, he was a lovely caring and very professional man. I would like to say a massive thanks to Donna who looked after me on the ward, Nadir the lovely anaesthetist who made me feel at ease, Liz the lovely kind nurse who looked after me in recovery, Jessica from self pay who certainly went the extra mile to help and Emma, Mr Stylianides personal secretary for being professional and kind. All in all I would definitely recommend this wonderful hospital.

Shocking service.. Secretary never answered phone. Letter was littered with spelling mistakes and incorrect information relayed by the consultant. Was given diagnosis to one symptom with no investigations after a 5-10 minute appointment and this did not address or core issue and didn't even resolve the one symptom it related to. Not worth the money. Exceptionally disappointed and still 12 month on with no specific diagnosis.

Hospital itself is excellent but ... Everytime I turned up for my physio appointment the secretory seemed to be annoyed that I turned up - all three times. That was the better experience compared to the Physio appointment itself. Turn up on time and still end up waiting 10-15 mins - this being the first appointment of the day! The actual physio was completely unhelpful; mentioned the pain I was getting in my leg - got the line "just continue doing the same exercise". No physio given each time. Appointments lasting less than 15 mins. Went to my GP (pain was getting worst) - I had a slipped disc. Changed physio to BMI Alex - who have been brilliant; basically managed to get issue resolved with Physio and home exercises. A very professional outfit.

My NHS GP recommended after four months of severe asthma symptoms I needed a chest x ray so I contacted my medical insurance who happily said I could go private - so off I went after making an appointment and informed the Edinburgh Clinic my insurance was paying - they took my authorisation details and the appointment was made. I arrived early and they informed me I had to pay as they had not heard of my Medical insurance provider and acted condescending when I produced a policy number - I informed the reception that I was told it was fine but of course I could not have the x ray unless I paid and yet two slones I overhead who had an invoice misplaced did not have to pay. I was ringing the medical insurers when I was escorted to the Imaging area and the radiographer pointed me into a small room to store my clothes and provided me with a gown. I sat in the waiting area and was taken in - ten seconds later it was over- not even taken back to reception - just left to put on my clothes and as this was the first time I made my way to reception where an invoice was produced. I felt less important because they only want real large preferred clients and not felt welcomed at all. There is a lack of care. Arrogant and condescending attitute - just go to GP Plus instead or the Spire. I will never go there again. If I wanted this lack of care I would have gone NHS.

Excellent customer service. Staff are professional and very helpful. They do care about the patients. I visited emergency once during pregnancy and once after - was interviewed by the same man - he was very helpful, seeing I have little baby with me asked me to wait in separated area not to expose the baby to all the germs in main waiting room. I also gave birth in this hospital and care I received in birthing centre then labour ward, following Simpson unit and postnatal was just the highest standard. I had complications during the labour but they made me feel safe and decreased my suffering to the very minimum. My husband was treated on several occasions in London's best private clinics but C&W was even better. I was very well looked after. Thank you all at C&W.

Chair of Finance. I rent a room from Jacqui Wilkinson who is head of finance for Chelsea and Westminster hospital as well as councilor for Warwick ward, Westminster . I've lived there just over 2 months. She has taken 6 months rent from me and a bond. I cannot sleep at night because I can hear the trains 24 hours a day. The noise pollution team have said has a statutory duty to put an acoustic sound proof window in which only costs £600. She has had almost £7,000 from me. She has been rude, aggressive, obstructive and lacking any empathy. If I had known I was renting from a Conservative councilor I would never have moved in. There are no Conservative MPS in Wales. Greed is not good and society does exist. Do not vote for this woman.

Yesterday I cut myself badly enough to warrant a trip to A & E. There was a bit of a wait, as it was VERY busy for the day and time (but I was just happy to have an A & E that was open and well run!). However, all staff were friendly, helpful and professional and the waiting room itself was clean, modern, airy and comfortable. The young Dr that helped me was wonderful! He was cheery, confident and very kind. He patched me up and filled me with confidence that things would be fine. Well done him and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital!

On the first day of a 2 week trip to England I ended up in Urgent Care of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital with my 82 year old mother. She had taken a bad fall and needed to be examined and treated before we could continue our travels. The nurses, doctors and x-ray techs were friendly, knowledgeable and caring. They provided expedient and top notch care. When the other travelers in our group asked about our experience with NHS I let them all know that the services we received at this hospital was as good as, if not better and more timely, than what I have experienced in similar circumstances at home in the USA.

It was the worst experience in approach to private patients that I’ve eve faced in my life. We were waiting 4,5 hours with 2 years old child for surgery. My son was not allowed to eat and drink from 6.30 am and we spent almost 5 hours just waiting for somebody to come although the operation time was arranged at 1pm. So, we stayed with him without any care and drinking and eating for whole day....... and after all we payed more than 2000£ staying in this hospital

Some consultants are great here however the hospital is not great, lack of communication between staff and departments results in a child not receiving adequate care. Find a better hospital. I am currently struggling with my son’s MRI as even the PA to the CEO does not respond! Any hospital must go that extra mile when dealing with a child, this is definitely not the case at this hospital

Very disappointed with the lack of clarity and communication and in fact lack of empathy as well. There are hidden fees at every corner. I had my baby there as my NHS hospital had run out of free space and was left scrambling to find a private hospital. We kept getting bill after bill and paid double than what we had been initially quoted. Went for a natural delivery with no epidural but was forced to pay for the anesthesiologist to be on call even though I specifically mentioned I didn’t want any drugs. Everything went well didn’t need the epidural but ended up having to pay over £600 for the anesthesiologist anyway. Some of the staff are very competent but others are down right aggressive and border line disrespectful. I’ve had to take my son for a scan there and was so shocked by the lack of empathy and care from the MRI technicians I will not be going back. The level of care there is much worst than with the NHS and you end up paying an arm and a leg for it with the finance department hounding you down even if payments are coming from insurance and have been covered.

It is a far cry from what a private hospital should be like. They forgot they are private and we paid for our newborn son to be treated there. We have filed a complaint with the management team but NO ONE bothered to respond. We got an email saying it was their mistake but it didn’t include a single apology. They think they are above the law. I find it a dangerous place where they first try to put the blame on you, for a mistake they made. Happily launched into legal action threats and bullying, even when we had a proof the mistake was on their part. When it was finished and they finally acknowledged that we were right all along, none of the people who harassed us said “sorry”. They treated us with so much incompetence and disrespect. I would never trust them with my son’s life. If you think you will be better off here than anywhere else - think twice. This is horribly run place.

Best hospital I've ever been to. Staff are really friendly and although it's a hospital I had a fabulous time there and I was treated well. It's a really big hospital. If I could, I would give this place more than a five-star rating. 👍

Together with Guys, best Hospital I have been to in 17 years living in the Country. The Staff is kind and caring, the Receptionists are efficient and empathic, the A&E is clean, welcoming and everyone was professional and I trusted everything I was told. I have been here plenty of time and I never experienced or witnessed any shortfalls in care or behaviour. If taken ill I would only go to St. Thomas or die trying to get there! At no point did I feel that my pain and concerns were ignored, I highly recommend this facility. Cleanliness is incredible.Trust me, I have OCD!!!

Generally a good hospital. Midwives are usually friendly and helpful. The past few visits, I haven't had long to wait at all. I did have one bad experience which is when my child was born. We were in hospital for over a week and decided to self discharge as all checks on my child were good, my mother's instinct told me that she was perfectly fine and I felt I was losing my mind in there. One of the nurses tried to make me feel guilty and emotionally blackmailed me saying that if I leave, I'm going to have to come back because my child will get sick, "watch". Just to be clear, there was absolutely nothing wrong with my child, they kept us in to do tests for an infection as my waters had been broken for 2 days prior to giving birth - the tests were all negative. Then when we were waiting hours for our discharge papers, the nurse decided to very obviously flirt with my partner. I couldn't believe what was happening right in front of my eyes; even he seemed a bit surprised. I was so angry.

What can I say. I was in here for just under 2 weeks having major surgery. I cannot put into words how lovely the staff and nurses are. I would highly recommend this hospital as they treated me so kind and nothing was to much trouble. They went out of there way to help me recover whilst in hospital. I am only couple of weeks post opp and this hospital is what hospitals should be like. They have a duty of care to the patients and fullfill every obligation. I am still on long road to recovery but baby steps for me at the moment. Thankyou to all in nightingale ward xxxxx
