I cannot recommend these people highly enough. Both Dr. Stafford and his PA Kellie showed me nothing but kindness and compassion. I was really upset with my situation and very nervous but all my questions were answered in a very understanding way. The process wasn't half as bad as I had imagined, probably because I fully understood what was going to happen. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who needs an abortion. They are always available and easy to get hold of.

Had gallbladder removed.Staff was friendly and attentive through the entire procedure . They all did wonderful work making me feel calm and safe. I suffer from severe anxiety disorder . Hartlepool has been my hospital of choice for over 15 years and I wish they would reopen it for other services. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this hospital, staff is always friendly and caring, but also efficient in their tasks. If I could give 10 stars I would!

My son had an appointment that lasted 40 minutes, staff brilliant but the cost to park was £3.00. It's £3.00 to park from 30 minutes to 12 hours. The first 30 minutes are free. After waiting to be seen and then your appointment, how many get out within the 30 minutes. It cost more than most London hospitals for that amount of time. You should only have to pay for the time your parked. Diobolical!

Nothing wrong with the hospital, but the receptionist in the physiotherapy department who may be called Elizabeth was rather rude to most people coming up to check in for their appointments, being quite snobby and generally not very nice to people who where elderly or not very well. She appeared to shape up when someone who was waiting made a comment about her acting the way she was. Receptionists are meant to be nice not arsey.

We started our Fertility journey with bath in January 2018 and we are now 16 weeks pregnant with ICSI treatment, we can't thank the doctors and nurses enough for what you have helped us achieve "our miricle baby", you made what could of been a stressful time a more calming and exciting journey with your care and support, from the bottom of our hearts we can't "Thank you enough" overwhelmed to be part of your bath Ferility family 👶🏻 X

We were treated as NHS patients & the service was amazing. All the front of house team were incredibly kind & helpful, even ironing out a snag where my GP surgery hadn’t applied for the funding in the time they should have. Everyone there made the process as easy for us as they could & were extremely compassionate. One of the consultants we saw was a little dry, but everso professional & filled us with confidence that they knew exactly what they were doing. I feel extremely fortunate that Bath was the clinic to treat us.

The location it's self is lovely and the reception staff seem lovely but if you are an NHS patient be prepared to get spoken to rudely and treated as if nobody cares. They would prefer to see some big money before making you feel welcome and worthy of being there. Awful experience which left me very upset and the consultant I saw had absolutely no compassion towards my situation.

I want to share what a brilliant service I received here. People are often too quick to leave negative comments without it being constructive in anyway, and not many people take time to share positive feedback. When I asked to have my baby at the women's I wanted to know I was in safe hands. I certainly was. I can't fault any aspect of care I received, which I am grateful for. My labour was induced and although it did not 'go to plan' my baby and I were very well looked after by all staff from midwives, doctors, anaesthetists, student midwives, healthcare staff and catering teams. They were all fantastic and I couldn't of asked for better care. My midwife and student midwife on the day of delivery were very attentive and did all they could to ensure smooth delivery. Even after I was discharged and my phone was left on the bed, and ended up in the linen room the two porters did all they could at half past midnight to reunite me with my phone which was so important to me as I had just taken so many precious photos of my new baby! They went above and beyond and are stars!

This place is a disgrace. Waiting room right opposite reception and birth centre have got most discomfortable chairs for expecting women to wait on, usually upto 4-5 hours as apparently they are so busy staff to have any doctors available and nurses are only nice out of their training ,they know well how to ignore long waiting couples by telling off they know you’re waiting for long but doctors are busy to be available. Full of old people staff that does everything so slow as if thats the end of world and nothing else do to... them old people expect same from all attending people as if they have got nothing else to do so yeah let’s keep them hanging to wait for nuffall. Shame on NHS though

If there was less than one Star I'd give it. If you're intending to give birth here please please think of other options. The management of the whole process of having a baby here is disgraceful . I don't even know where to start and the story is so long . My daughter had her first child and what should have been an exciting but calming and comfortable experience was turned into a shambolic mismanaged nightmare. Apart from a couple of lovely caring Midwives ( but believe me there were some very rude ignorant ones) my daughter wouldn't have got as far as she did. Change of room after room more than 4 times, lack of pain management , uncertainty , too much paperwork not enough comfort ( for relatives either) She's currently in a private room and has been told she has to stay, but if she does she'll have to be moved AGAIN. 7th time. It really frustrates me thinking that no one will take notice of any of the bad reviews on here and nothing will happen. But the state of the NHS isn't the government's fault it's the lack of training and very poor management in this particular hospital.

Would help if they actually answered the phone! It's a good job it's not an emergency! I'm 18 weeks and still haven't had a scan yet at my midwife appointment she couldn't even get through to them cause no one was answering! So I don't even know if I'm booked in or not I really don't need this worry and stress!

Was referred by Summercroft surgery to see ENT, when I got there the doctor said he can’t help me because he doesn’t have access to my MRI scan which was done at The Royal Brompton. So he sent me away. Didn’t help me with anything, refused to even look at it or discuss my symptoms. On top of that, upon my arrival I was asked by the receptionist in a very loud voice for how long have I been out of the country in the last year. This was after I told her my name which is a clear indicator that I’m originally from abroad. From what I know, you are not meant to ask verbally, you give a paper form for the patient to fill, don’t just shout it out loud like that. Will never recommend this place to anyone

I was admitted under Mr Singhal for a planned appendicectomy. Stayed in overnight. The experience was much better then I anticipated. Mr Singhal is an excellent surgeon. I was a very anxious patient. Nurse Andre admitted me with the help of health care assistant Jo. They were caring, and very efficient getting all the pre operation investigators done quickly before the surgery. Andre collected me from theatre and was very reassuring . Post surgery theatre nurse Vicki was also very calm and reassuring. I had a night nurse Maria and a day nurse Peter both of whom were absolutely excellent. Usually I do not write reviews but on this occasion because I had such a good experience I made time to write this.

What a truley amazing hospital. From the minute you walk in, you feel like a VIP and that you as a person matter. The waiting area is beautiful and the staff are clean, smart and really want to be there. I had foot surgery with Mr Sam Singh and his amazing anetastist from Egypt, I can't rember his name, but he put me at ease straight away and made me laugh and kept me entertained. I have a terrible needle phobia and terrible anxiety around medical equipment and it was no problem to any of the staff, who could not do enough for me. The rooms are beautiful, totally private, ensuring dignity, and privacy at all times. Mr sighs receptionist Elliea is a truley wonderful lady, she is quick to respond to any emails you send her with any worries or concerns you may have - how every big or small and she really cares about you and your well being. The nurses where amazing, a blonde lady and Italian girl where the two nurses who helped me first when I arrived, and where like magic angels, the night nurse Richie, was genuine and thoughtful to me. Any time I pressed the buzzer for assistance, a nurse was with me in under 2 minutes. Pleased to help me with a smile, with pain relif, the toilet or a snack. The food was wonderful and the catering team where so friendly. I would say the food was on par with many top London restaurants . The soup was deifinatley home made, the salad was fresh and crisp and full English breakfast was amazing. I would like to thank chelsfield park hospital for for being outstanding, the nurses for being kind, hard working and thoughtful at all times. Mr sigh and his surgery team for being the best, the catering team for making amazing food, the reception team for being welcoming and last but not least Elliea Mr sighs PA, for being very kind to me. I would advise anyone who has a foot problem to see Mr Sighn at The Chelsfield, and that I wish I had not left it this long to have surgery. I would like to also advise people how very very important it is to have private medical insure, it not as expensive as you might think and you can't put a price on health. If I did not have insurance, I would not have been able to afford to have this operation and there is no way I would have been looked after, had the privacy I had and cared for in the was I was with The NHS, which is under immense presure. Many thanks once again.

I attended the Priory hospital for the removal of kidney stones. I would like to say a big thank You to ALL the staff. Having been assaulted whilst at work and kicked in the leg, I was referred to the BMI group where I was seen by Mr Fazil HUSSAIN. He requested that a MRI be done on my knee. This was arranged with 3 days of my initial consultation. The MRI results came Back and the result was a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. I was then offered and undertook an intense course of physio prior to the operation. The op date came and was greated by the porter who directed me to my own en suite room which was lovely. The staff were friendly nothing was too much problem. The anaesthetist came and explained what was going to be done followed by the consultant. Surgery was a full success. After more extensive physio and working with Jennifer in the physio department. I was put onto a new machine called the CYBEX. What great machine and equipment this is. No fooling this. So after nearly 12 months of hard work from myself and my team I am now fully fit again and operational in my job. I can’t thank the BMI group enough. Thank you

It is disappointing service, my brother got a pre-surgery appointment I been calling them for the last 5 days and left message too, but unfortunately no one is answering my call, it put me straight to voice mail with a message "you call back etc", which they have never called me. Its sad that BMI is not prioritising those who call unless you go to the hospital and speak to them about your concerns.

My 3 star rating is not based on our treatment outcome as that would be just ridiculous. I don't understand why would anyone give 1 star rating to any clinic 'just' because the treatment didn't work. At Bourn Hall the staff are friendly but somewhat distant, we have undergone 4 treatments here and overall their approach was ok. Sometimes explanation was missing so we didn't know what was happening, quite a few times we were feeling unwelcome and only as a number on the system. In the end I would recommend this clinic to anyone but would warn not to expect amazing but alright treatment.

We felt a good atmosphere in bourn hall clinic Kochi, the doctors are self-restraint, that’s our preliminary expectation from any ideal hospital .and the treatment is good and each session of treatments were well explained by each department. Especially the staffs are very co-operative and we got a nice caring behavior from the nurses And front office staffs, each staff are dedicated to serve the patient with pleasant smile and the emotional support that makes us distressed.

We did not a get a good vibe from Bourn Hall and certainly wouldn’t return for treatment. Upon attending a recent open evening, potential clients were handed a 3 page document, pricing all and sundry with zero indication as to what a typical treatment plan might entail or actually cost. This opaque pricing structure makes difficult to compare this clinic with its industry peers. No doubt Bourn will defend this statement but I can assure any reader that other clinics are more upfront. Excellent as their treatment might be, my wife and I were deterred by this lack of transparency. There were zero questions from floor after the presentation which for me reflected a lack of engagement in the room.

In what can be one of the most stressful and challenging times of your life, the BCRM make your fertility journey as easy and pain free as possible. I wouldn't have wanted to be treated anywhere else as the staff are just incredible. Dr Akande, Carrie, Jane, Anne (and many more) always go the extra mile to answer any questions, soothe any nerves and generally make you feel like the most cared for person in the world. After a long three years of trying to conceive we are finally expecting twins and couldn't be more thankful to the BCRM for making that possible.

We have had a wonderful experience at the BCRM. We have just been lucky enough to have a second successful pregnancy from ICSI treatment and coming back a second time felt like coming back to our family. Carrie and Trish and all of the nurses that looked after us throughout our treatment were all very sensitive, positive and encouraging but most of all were really warm and caring and were always ready to give a big hug. Not only are the staff at the BCRM incredible proficient and professional, there is also a really personal feel there and all of the staff, from the doctors - Dr Price was brilliant - to the receptionists get to know you well and make you feel welcome and at ease. We cannot thank the staff at the BCRM for their care and support through some very turbulent years in our lives and for ultimately helping us to achieve a family.

After roughly 5 years of trying, we finally decided to go down the IVF route. It was slightly terrifying initially but Carrie was so straight forward and kind that all those feelings were alleviated. The team were realistic and did the tests and scans that needed to be done. I’ve heard of other places where you go in daily for blood tests; we didn’t do that and the result was a calm mother! I gave birth to our beautiful boy two weeks ago and cannot thank the team enough.

The BCRM is the place you want your treatment. You are not simply a patient but a member of their Family. From seeing your consultant to embryo transfer and beyond, all the staff that you come into contact are caring, sympathetic and they make you feel as you are the only person they are dealing with. There are simply not enough kind words that I can use to explain the treatment received. We thank them all from the bottom of our hearts for the rollercoaster journey they indured with us.

I can compare this to 2 other clinics and unfortunately I cannot rate this clinic as good, seem to still be "finding their feet". Reception staff civil at best and not always open when arriving for appointments, clinic staff a little warmer but impersonal/cold. Only time I got a phone call was very demanding asking for money otherwise I had to call for results or queries, was oversold drugs that I didn't need or use and they wouldn't take back. No real suppprt available out of office hours. Was told to google how to use the drugs! I've had many rounds of IVF and the 1 round I did here was my least successful by way of egg quality and any to freeze, I didn't have a follow up to check if it had worked so not sure how they manage their success statistics.
John Russell

Can't tell whether they're any good, but they are slow, inefficient and unhelpful. It's hard to get hold of them on the phone in office hours, and I suspect they're only responding well after their deadlines because I chased them. And they will only deal with my GP, which seems unhelpful.

I am extremely happy with the treatment and care I received at this clinic. I always felt relaxed and confident during the treatment. The best thing I did was leave CRGH clinic in London and seek treatment at Care London. This clinic did their best to make the process as less stressful as possible. Though like all clinics they ask for payment first before treatment, they are not a money grabbing clinic, my health and well-being came first. They tried their best to cut down costs without me asking and told me which blood tests my GP may be able to do which saved me money. Certain scans and consultations were free. They really did their best to work around me when booking appointments and were always happy to answer any questions I had no matter how small. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

What a fantastic facility. The staff here are absolutely amazing, from the cleaners all the way up to the theatre staff. I can't praise them enough. They really make you feel welcome and at ease.

Was great all the way through, couldn't fault the nurses. Was completely let down at the end of our treatment when it mattered the most. My wife had her egg retrieval and didn't feel ready to have her eggs put back when they was supposed to. We shared our concerns with the docs and they was more concerned about getting her in and out. We was told all the way through we can have 2 eggs put back although they don't recommend it.. when it got to the procedure they wouldn't put 2 back and instead told us to freeze one which we couldn't afford after already spending thousands. Was made to feel like it was our only option so I had to find a spare 500 quid out of thin air after we was told freezing any remaining embryos was included in the cost of the treatment (it was not). We really just felt like a number at the end. They had our eggs, they had our money and now they wanted rid. My wife has been put off IVF for life after this horrific experience. It's a very emotionally and physically draining experience and after seeing the pain my wife went through after her egg retrieval (that was meant to be just an uncomfortable feeling) I would not recommend to anyone. She was in a lot of pain for weeks to the point she nearly passed out at work.

From the first enquiry email we were made to feel important. Every aspect of our journey was carried out with compassion and honesty, allowing us to feel completely in control and looked after, during such an emotional and testing time. We would recommend anyone considering fertility treatment to seek advice from Care Fertility, and we can say with complete confidence and a four day old baby girl, that taking the time to save for private treatment was the best option.

Fantastic experience all round. Every member of staff from consultant to ward staff and reception were so friendly and helpful; even after being discharged! Consultants extremely knowledgeable and able to offer the most up to date options which have resulted in a much more positive outcome for us in just 5 months start to finish compared to our 1.5 year ordeal with St marys which was a catalogue of errors. Yes we had to pay at care fertility but it's been worth every penny!

I'll be honest my first review for this clinic was a bad one as no one called me back, the office manager called me after I left my negative review and explained they now have a new centralised number where they do answer straight away. I'm so glad I gave them another chance, the nurses and office staff at care have been wonderful and supportive, i esp like deidre who we had our injection teach with yesterday and Nadine Always emails be back straight away. Im only mid injection regime but I feel so happy I chose this clinic. We have a few more months with them as our Cycle isn't a straight forward fresh transfer so I Will update again once we are finished (and hopefully have a good outcome to report back). So far I wouldnt hesitate to recommend x

Impossible to speak to anyone, always put through to an answering machine, took days to book and appointment and then the same annoying process of being put through to voicemail to get results. Also very dis-satisfied with service as I got incomplete results. Would not recommend and will not use again. Giving one star because I chose this clinic based on the 5 star rating but my experience has been anything but 5 star.

Had a wonderful experience at CARE. After having failed ICSI twice at other places and losing all hope in having a family I was recommended to go and give CARE Fertility a try. Not only was the procedure a lot easier than other clinics, the clinic was more thorough in looking at our previous cycles to identify what should be done differently. We ended up being the first couple at CARE having artificial oocyte activation with ICSI and had the best result ever. We had our first child after 15 years of marriage. Since then we have been back to CARE again and now have two wonderful boys. I would like to thank you all for all the love and care the staff at CARE NOTTINGHAM showed us and made our treatment here a very enjoyable experience.

It's so good to have the opportunity to express how I feel about CRGW but one star is far too generous. Previously the gestapo from the clinic stopped any negative comments from being made by threatening the website with legal action so it's great to have this forum. I found them negligent in their practice and I felt that they are not genuinely interested in their patients and their stories. They are corrupt, greedy and interested only in success rates/kudos and ultimately financial reward. They are ruthless in their pursuit of power eg they destroy graded embryos to bolster their success rates (without your permission) There's no complaints procedure at CRGW. You just talk to the same person who treats you with disrespect and disdain and then eventually stops responding. He gives you no information on how to take the matter further and he controls your every move from thereon. I had to deal with him on transfer day. Imagine that! He has spies everywhere and if you dare complain the spies report back to him. The most distressing and emotionally exhausting experience ever.Go somewhere that cares about their patients and lets them decide what treatment they would like rather than dictating to them

Avoid at all costs!! The clinic lied to me on several occasions, promised me a refund then denied this. The complaints process is pointless as no one actually responds to the issues raised. I'd advise you research other clinics as I'm sure this one is ok if all goes well but has caused me considerable emotional distress at a time when this is the last thing I needed.

Having had unsuccesful treatment at another private clinic in central Cardiff. My friend recommended I give CRGW a try as she(unbeknown to me had also had treatment to have her twin boys!). I cannot believe the difference in the 2 clinics. My first clinic only seemed interested in getting money out of me and had lots of "extras" which were added to the bill.Amanda at CRGW is a fantastic, empathetic and caring woman.I would have no hesitation in recommending her. CRGW are head and shoulders above the other clinic.

The car park was full and I was really lucky to find a space, the ticket machine was broken (coin payments only). The waiting is horrible but you have to expect that at A&E. There was little information, I had no idea where to sit and worried about missing my name being called but all of this was made up for by the lovely staff who were all so caring. The cherry on top was a member of staff (who I doubt I will ever see again )giving me £2 as I didn't have enough cash for my car park ticket

Excellent customer service. Staff are professional and very helpful. They do care about the patients. I visited emergency once during pregnancy and once after - was interviewed by the same man - he was very helpful, seeing I have little baby with me asked me to wait in separated area not to expose the baby to all the germs in main waiting room. I also gave birth in this hospital and care I received in birthing centre then labour ward, following Simpson unit and postnatal was just the highest standard. I had complications during the labour but they made me feel safe and decreased my suffering to the very minimum. My husband was treated on several occasions in London's best private clinics but C&W was even better. I was very well looked after. Thank you all at C&W.

Chair of Finance. I rent a room from Jacqui Wilkinson who is head of finance for Chelsea and Westminster hospital as well as councilor for Warwick ward, Westminster . I've lived there just over 2 months. She has taken 6 months rent from me and a bond. I cannot sleep at night because I can hear the trains 24 hours a day. The noise pollution team have said has a statutory duty to put an acoustic sound proof window in which only costs £600. She has had almost £7,000 from me. She has been rude, aggressive, obstructive and lacking any empathy. If I had known I was renting from a Conservative councilor I would never have moved in. There are no Conservative MPS in Wales. Greed is not good and society does exist. Do not vote for this woman.

Yesterday I cut myself badly enough to warrant a trip to A & E. There was a bit of a wait, as it was VERY busy for the day and time (but I was just happy to have an A & E that was open and well run!). However, all staff were friendly, helpful and professional and the waiting room itself was clean, modern, airy and comfortable. The young Dr that helped me was wonderful! He was cheery, confident and very kind. He patched me up and filled me with confidence that things would be fine. Well done him and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital!

On the first day of a 2 week trip to England I ended up in Urgent Care of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital with my 82 year old mother. She had taken a bad fall and needed to be examined and treated before we could continue our travels. The nurses, doctors and x-ray techs were friendly, knowledgeable and caring. They provided expedient and top notch care. When the other travelers in our group asked about our experience with NHS I let them all know that the services we received at this hospital was as good as, if not better and more timely, than what I have experienced in similar circumstances at home in the USA.

we are very pleased we chose City Fertility for our IVF treatment, we were successful on our 2nd attempt, we were well informed of the costs by the friendly staff and always treated with compassion and sensitivity,we were told that my wife would not go full term by the doctors and as a result, were monitored from early on by our local hospital, which was vital as our son was born at 27 weeks. The clinic is easily found with a 5 minute walk from Farringdon train station. The worst fertility clinic in Southampton! Please be aware and avoid wasting your money! I cry out of frustration with these people! Staff are very rude and mislead you into wasting money unnecessarily! Doctor Saran is only concerned with meeting her numbers and even charging for services not received! There is never any answer on the Appointment Line and leaving messages their response is to inform you there is a one month waiting list before you can even start treatment! This is a dreadful clinic with unprofessional staff, i have lost money with them so beware and look elsewhere!

Recently admitted via my GP for a brain haemorrhage, I arrived in A&E and was seen to almost immediately. As you can imagine, a frightening experience; however the staff that attended to me had such a positive, good-humoured and professional manner. The haemorrhage promptly identified by a CAT scan, I was immediately informed I was to be transported to Derriford. The doctors sent over my scan images and details before I even left Truro, allowing the neurologists to be familiar with my situation on my arrival. Absolutely phenomenal communication and staff. Can not thank them enough.

My son who is a member of the armed forces had to undergo a planned operation on Wednesday 25th of April .we had travelled from Wales to be with him. From when he was seen and prepared for theatre on the Theatre direct suite to his admission to trauma 2 ward I could not fault any part of his care or treatment. He was kept fully informed of what would happen in regard to the operation and what be involved following this.We had a very slight hiccup with regard to his discharge , however this was treated in a quick and professional way the next day. I was aware the Royal Cornwall hospital was in special measures and was slightly apprehensive about this as I'm a nurse. Well all I can say is ,Royal Cornwall Hospital..stand proud as I couldn't fault your care of my son .

I was admitted to the Countess hospital on May 27th 2018 for heart attack symptoms. The treatment I received was speedy, competent, well explained and extremely warm and caring. I found the food was very good. In the ward I was particularly impressed how the hospital staff could still find time to come and simply sit with very poorly patients to offer a few minutes of comfort despite their obviously busy schedule. I was discharged on the fifth day with a comprehensive rehabilitation plan including the required medication after care and a twelve week fitness gymnasium course. The course is personal and individually monitored by medical staff, including a short Q & A talk on the medication and the exercise regime.

Why 4 stars even if there was a blunder? I used to b a practicing trained nurse and left the career path 18 yrs. ago and don't miss it one bit. Nurses are over worked and over stretched as with the other health workers. They have feelings where most of the time they have to suppressed. Being an in patient, I think we have responsibilities and must arm ourselves with as much info that is out available to the public. Sometimes waiting times are not intentionally delayed, as certain cases are prioritized before your appointment. We just must give as much support to our already ailing NHS.

New years eve. Nurse absolutely useless. I had been passed over to bishop by the 111 team who were EXCELLENT. I had had a mini stroke some years ago and some years later (31st December 2017) i had a similar experience. Previous night nose pouring of unusually thicker blood, headache, listless. The next day another nose bleed and headache, oh and i forgot to mention i also suffer with high blood pressure. Waited several hours for the hospital phone call, to be told that i wouldnt be seen for a nose bleed and that if it happened again to "nip the tip of my nose for 10 minutes " and if it didnt stop to get myself to A&E. Well pretty hard to get to A&E if I've already had the damned STROKE.

AVOID THIS PLACE! I and my husband lost yesterday 4 hours being there for some basic fertility scans! 4 hours! On top of that Dr. Moses from Create Fertility Clinic gave me an useless referral letter that I can’t use for my private health insurance. I asked for an updated one, they sent me the same wrong letter! The staff is clueless! I had a pelvic ultrasound, they still did not send me the photo scans for which I paid for! Ah, and I had some blood tests - they still did not send the results. And I paid for this! Really disappointing.

Extremely rubbish service. They are really useless and time wasters and wasted 2 hours before the useless doctor seen us. Staffs are so unprofessional and inexperienced and cannot handle the patients and always provide false information. I really wonder how they are treating the patient! Must be a money making clinic where they give incorrect information to the people to make money. Please don't go and waste your time and look for proper clinic who cares about you rather then wasting your time and money.

After having 1 failed cycle at Create Fertility Raynes Park, which was very upsetting, we were successful on the second, staff were very empathetic and helpful after failed attempt. Admin were very professional and always had a smile on their face when attending the clinic for scans etc which made things a lot better as going through something like this is very stressful in itself. I would recommend this clinic.

The staff are always welcoming and kind here and there is a genuine interest in treating the individual, with treatment geared to your circumstances. Debbie stands out as a very kind and understanding person who is expert in listening. Create specialises in lower drug (mild) regime IVF and this is very suitable for those with a lower ovarian reserve - a low AMH is not a barrier to treatment at this clinic, which isn't always the case with other clinics. I preferred the shorter cycle length as IVF is a fairly stressful process, so the shorter the better, but also the lower drug levels associated mild protocols didn't make me feel as rubbish! Lower drug IVF protocols are also cheaper; I think it is entirely possible to do 3 low drug rounds at this clinic for the price of one high stimulation round elsewhere. I would definitely recommend Create and have visited all the well known UK clinics - Create really felt like a place where I was given a chance.

One word for their service: MESS. What a mess!!!! The staff is so confused and confusing that everything seems out of its place. The way they make money is due to desperation of couples on getting a child, and they charge you separately for every sing thing, the amount for a cycle that you believe it won't cost much at first instance, become then more expensive then anywhere else, once you are on the loop, the invoices just keep coming, coming and coming. They don't tell you much before that happens. The reception service is very poor (Raynes Park), the clinic isn't the most hygienic place and if you don't push them, you don't get things done. Unless of course, they want to charge you, then they will make anything to get your money. DONT FALL IN THE TRAP.

Carpel tunnel op under NHS. Surgeon was brilliant and the op was a great success. Why 3*? I was sent home with no painkillers despite my gp saying they would be supplied. I think the surgeon forgot to tick the box and the carer was afraid to query the error. That is potentially dangerous and indicates an unsafe culture. There was no after-op survey to comment on this. Luckily I had some old pills from my hip-op five years before.

I can't comment on the treatment as I never got to see the specialist due to the fact it would have been 1 hour after my appointment and I couldn't wait that long. NHS standards at private prices!

Leaving a review is not normally something i bother doing. But this is such a hard thing to deal with that i feel it is necessary to share our experience. First things first, it's very hard to be too critical when your wife is expecting a baby girl which is from a successful IUI and happened first time. We are extremely grateful for what they did for us and couldn't be happier. We were sent to Exeter from Torbay Hospital and our treatment was on the NHS. For people who have to pay, i would recommend seeking out the clinic with the best success rate, depending on distance for you to travel. At Exeter, don't expect to be seen on time. Not one of our appointments was. The first one was over an hour late. It's also a similar story with each process. Every new appointment we had was weeks/months of waiting. And the flexibility of appointments was virtually non-existent, which was very difficult juggling that and my wife starting a new job. The first week in particular pushed us right to the limit! However it is pretty obvious they are understaffed for the amount they have to take on and clearly a lot of them work long and hard hours. The staff are superb to say the least. We always felt welcome and looked after. They were always happy to help and talk. And during different procedures, they made us feel calm and comfortable. Our experience took around 2 years, from our first appointment at Torbay to a positive test at home. There was lots of waiting and lots of travelling from Torquay to Exeter. Patience was certainly the key and at times we felt like we could of just given up. But for anyone starting out, keep the faith that it will happen for you and be patient. You will get there in the end.

Awful communication from the very start. Have now moved clinics because the stress of dealing with them was just too much, and lead to a period of depression. Made an official complaint but they missed the point entirely, so I now give up and will never go back there. Read about my experience with them on my (ongoing) blog, bubsandthebees

Unlike the first reviewer, our experience has been great. The first reviewer is correct though in that the HFEA stats are not great and the clinic should really give their own percentages of success rather than national statistics BUT, that being said, Exeter Fertility have been brilliant to us! Occasionally, they are tricky to get hold of but they are always helpful and caring. Thanks to the medical staff and scientists, we are now expecting twins and could not have done it without these wonderful people. All of the staff were very friendly and go above and beyond even despite the fact they are MASSIVELY over stretched and underfunded like the rest of the NHS. Its easy for me to say now as the IVF worked for us first time, but I think even had it not worked, I would not have blamed the clinic. They do a great job and I would recommend them. :-)

Officially the worst in the region - according to the HFEA's website. However - not according to their own. Wasted my one free chance at Exeter Fertility - and now I will have to travel to Wales. What an absolute shambles. The nurses are lovely, everyone was friendly - but when you pay thousands of pounds, what's the point in going to the worst clinic in the region? Especially when their prices are higher than most. For ladies out there who (like me) didn't look at the success rates on the official HFEA website, please find them below. These are just for IVF cycles, for women under 35 using their own eggs. This is three years worth of data (2014) and the figures haven't improved since for Fertility Exeter. It's such a shame their website led me to believe 30 -35% success rates, but its actually so much lower. Don't waste your one free chance on the NHS like I did - please go elsewhere. It's not worth the risk, its already so hard on us, emotionally and physically - every tiny percentage counts when you are trying for a miracle. You can double your chances just by travelling 60 miles. I know the choice I would have made should I have had truthful information from their website. Exeter Fertility Pregnancies per cycle 17.8% Live Births Per Cycle 17.2% Singleton Live Births 13.6% Multiple Live Births 3.6% Live births per egg 20.7% Live Births per embryo transfer 25.7% Miscarriages per cycle 0.6% Bristol Center for Reproductive Medicine Pregnancies per cycle 26.1% Live Births Per Cycle 22.7% Singleton Live Births 19.3% Multiple Live Births 3.4% Live births per egg 35.1% Live Births per embryo transfer 40% Miscarriages per cycle 2.3% Bath Fertility Pregnancies per cycle 29.6% Live Births Per Cycle 26.8% Singleton Live Births 26.1% Multiple Live Births 0.7% Live births per egg 31.4% Live Births per embryo transfer 36.2% Miscarriages per cycle 2.1% London's Womens Clinic Wales Pregnancies per cycle 32.5% Live Births Per Cycle 29.4% Singleton Live Births 23.8% Multiple Live Births 5.6% Live births per egg 38.5% Live Births per embryo transfer 43.9% Miscarriages per cycle 2.5% My story? Ill keep it short - over/under cooked - 25 follicles turned into 4 eggs and only one fertilized. Months waiting without a phone call, nearly breached the 18 week pathway - reason? Because the consultant was on Holiday for a month and a new one was starting soon, so it would be a few months. Just another statistic - and a bad one at that. So they wasted nearly 8 months of my life - battered, bruised, forgotten about and nothing to show for it. As I said before, everyone is friendly enough - but something is going seriously wrong somewhere - and when you are in control of something as important as bringing children into the world - its not good enough. At least they offer you free counselling eh!

I visited the Hospital for an Endoscopy and it was amazing. It was clean and sterile. The nurses were knowledgable, friendly, helpful and just amazing overall. The doctor and consultant was amazing and really put you at ease. They made me a tea with biscuits and it was just perfect not that weird stuff with skin all over it. Overall best experience to date.

Poor service.. I visited OPD last week. I had an appointment at 3 pm so took half day leave for that. And after reaching there I came to know that Doctor has been delayed by one and half hour... I wish hospital staff would have atleast informed me about the delay.. I had to wait till 4.45pm for my appointment which was really frustrating.. If they already know that its going to delay then they can inform patients...

Will not recommend this place to anyone and not because their treatment didn't work, but because it was not professional and timed badly, because all they care about is how to make as much money as they can from you, because of their service level: when the nurse before calling you doesn't even bother to check your medical record details and asking how pregnant you are when you are not even near that and that's why you are at their clinic!; when you have more than 5 people in contact with you from that clinic, but no one has the full record of whats happening next, and finally when they make you pay for an appointment in order to actually buy the package of their services and this given that you have already paid for the first appointment GBP250. This is not mentioning that when you burst into tears in their offices because feeling helpless to struggle with them further , they don't even offer any apology or the words of sympathy as if this is normal and that's how it should be in the normal order of events! Avoid at all costs.

Did IVF and ended up in ectopic. I had been telling the doctors and nurses that I had been bleeding for 2 weeks after the transfer. They didn't do any check but only kept selling me more med until the 6 weeks scan. I felt lucky that I didn't die there.

I am with this clinic for last 3 years , never recommend . Very bad service received from patient coordinator for ET. Never reply to emails but punctual at collecting money before patient leaves the door. full of billing discrepancies.

The inital consolation with the staff discussing all of our options we knew we were in safe hands. Unfortunately it did not work first time around. After the first failed ivf attempt they went through all of the possibilities that we could change for a second attempt with them. Was worried it wouldn't work but they were reassuring and explained everything along the way. We were always greeted by name and we were able to laugh and chat with all the staff. We now have a gorgeous baby girl. Thank you so much and we have already recommended you to others.

My husband and I have become extremely familiar with this clinic over a number of years and I cannot speak highly enough of all of the staff and the incredible service that they provide. From day one we were welcomed with compassion and kindness, from reception all the way through to the consultants, the standard of care is extremely high and the entire process is made as easy as possible due to the wonderful nature of the staff. Having experienced both baby loss and failed IVF attempts with these people standing beside me, I can tell you without doubt that they genuinely care for their patients and quickly end up feeling like your extended 'fertility family'. I am by no means biased, despite their impressive track record my husband and I have not yet been lucky enough to carry a pregnancy to term, but despite this I would not want to be treated anywhere else.

I can't speak highly enough of this place. The staff are wonderful, so caring. My wife and I have now achieved our dreams with a baby due in the summer. The whole process of IVF was daunting at first. We have been through it before at a couple of private units and it frankly felt like they were just in it for the money and weren't interested in us as human beings with fertility problems and the biological clock ticking. They promised the earth and delivered nothing, and there were always surprise hidden extras! But this place is very different. They care about us as people. They're honest about the costs, and they are more reasonable than the other places. The staff explained that the ethos is being part of the NHS, despite being in a unit that is high spec and feels private. The staff are very experienced because they are all NHS through and through, and are part of the well known Liverpool Women's Hospital. Some people are lucky to be able to access this place on the NHS - we couldn't because of the rules that are in place about BMI (not invented by this place I hasten to add but a bunch of pen pushers called commissioning groups) and frankly for a couple of years my wife was comfort eating because of not being able to get pregnant! But I don't begrudge for a minute having spent my hard earned here, and hopefully we'll be back for number 2 next year as we still have embryos in the freezer! Patrick Smith.

Very difficult to get someone on the phone, called for 3 days every 30 minutes and left number of voicemails but no call backs. Finally get through and the receptionist wasn't too bothered and felt like she didn't want to be there. Had attitude on her. I ask for appointment but she said that it was 2 months and 2 weeks wait for one. Very poor NHS service they have 4 day in a week available for appointments and only one hour for each day apart from one of the days they have 2 one hour slots. Very poorly run service, this is not a joke people have health issues that need resolving asap.

After some major communication issues and a lack of service in IVI Madrid we tried to move our treatment to London. I totally bought into DR McVeigh and was prepared to finish our treatment there. Due to some complications I was told they needed to get an answer from the HFEA but this was formality and they would come back to me in 3 days. Just over two months later and after much chasing on my side, they came back to me with negative answer, one I was not prepared for as Dr McVeigh had said it was " just a formality". Another two months wasted of finding the right clinic after already wasting so much time with their parent company in Spain. Speaking as someone who had had a lot of contact with IVI as a company - stay away there are many well established clinics in the UK.

I gave birth here in September, one of the busiest months for babies, in the midwife led part. They were brilliant from start to finish. The midwife who delivered my daughter, Sarah, was absolutely phenomenal. She had just finished delivering one baby, came to deliver mine and was rushing off to deliver the next one right after stitching me up. They do this with a smile on their face and they provide the best level of care. As a first time mum they kept me calm and level headed. The quality of care was second to none. You’ll be well looked after if you deliver your baby here.

HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH IT? Made a formal complaint 2 months ago about a data breach and despite chasing, have received no reference number, no idea of when i can expect a response - if ever, and no name of who is dealing with the complaint. This is not the first time the hospital has failed to respond to a complaint. How do they get away with such a total lack of accountability? A regular company would never be able to get away with such unprofessional behaviour. I'm profoundly disturbed by the way they just ignore justified concerns about serious failures. And there's nothing you can do when they don't respond; you can't go to PHSO until they respond; perhaps that's why they just ignore complaints? I think they just throw complaints straight in the bin. I wanted to write to the chief exec; but apparently they don't have one. No wonder they have such serious structural problems. I'm frankly amazed the authorities are not investigating.

Worst A&E ever. The triage nurse was at best unhelpful at worst outright uncaring and patronising (had to beg for a painkiller). Took my medical history on a shabby plastic chair next to reception, with other waiting patients able to listen in. Heard of privacy? After a 3-hour wait without any contact with medical staff, I finally gave up and went to St Thomas’. Now here’s a proper A&E department. Caring, efficient and professiona (received proper CARE within 3 hours. Yes King’s Colkege care, that’s what we pay you to do, you should try once.

She was very rude, overheard her laughing and swearing about another patient, very unproffesional and after reading what she wrote on my forms she is a Lier and in need of BASIC medical knowledge most people have. Appalling. Left my terminally ill mother (who was admitted with severe chest pain) without attention or pain relief in majors for 5 hours then admitted they forgot about her because ‘a and e is busy...some people needed urgent attention’. When we said we were so worried, the doctor fronted us and said ‘why are you worried?’ Meanwhile we sat for 5 hours watching another doctor scrolling aimlessly on a computer screen, picking his nails and playing a game on his phone. The major department trauma toilet floor was totally covered in piss, stank and was unattended by cleaning staff during our total 7 hour stay and we brought Mum home in a desperate state after she became so distressed she told them she was going to walk out the door...with severe chest pain and a canula in her arm...oh yes they did that bit...badly...and she bled everywhere while they were doing it! I WOULDN’T TREAT A RABID DOG THE WAY THEY TREATED MY TERMINALLY ILL MOTHER. DISGRACE...I’m ashamed for them.

Professional to the last. The support and care we received was second to none. Our journey was long, but successful twice, what more could we ask? We are grateful for their expertise and we pray that all others who use them have a happy outcome. From the first moments on the phone with Sarah, to counselling, nursing, embryology and of course the unforgettable Dr Ashur, we have been treated with kindness and realism. We were never misled about the challenges. Never given false hope. We were simply given the facts. If you are in the unfortunate position to need their help, they will do all they can to provide it. There are no guarantees and they won't give you any, but our experience is that they will do their best. We wish them and anyone who chooses them blessings on their journey.

It started off well - but when it came to getting the results of our blood test back (which cost more than £1,200), we received zero communication for months, no e-mails/calls/post, or indeed anything, and had to chase things up to get to the bottom of the missing results ourselves. We were left sorely disappointed and decided to go elsewhere in the end as we feel they cannot be trusted to handle these types of personal issues competently. Speaking purely from my own experience, I would exercise caution here.

Awful place. I'm sure that your experience may be better if you're a paying customer, but if you're a donor don't expect a decent experience. I was led to believe that the risks in being a donor were slim, I was never told that because of my age or body weight I was a high risk. I ended up with moderate over-stimulated ovaries and am still suffering the consequences. It was never about financial compensation for me, it was always about helping and so had I been told that I was more at risk because of my age I would have waited until I was 30. I didn't google the risks because everyone knows that you shouldn't google medical things. Foolishly, I trusted them. This was a fault on my part, and it's a mistake I will not make again. I was hospitalised as a result of my donation. I am still not out of the woods. I was supposed to have a check up with the clinic but I rang to cancel as I was very unwell. No one answered so I left a voicemail. To date, no one has returned my call. Before the clinic had my eggs if I left a voicemail my call was returned the same day. Now they have my eggs, they couldn't care less. I've given up on ever hearing from them as they simply do not care. If you are going to donate, I would suggest you at least wait until you're 30 and I would suggest you discuss it with an NHS doctor who will give you all of the facts. Don't trust a private clinic that is going to financially benefit from your donation, because chances are they will play down the risks as they did with me. If anything my experience is confirmation that the NHS should remain as it is, and not become privatised. If it were not for the NHS picking up the pieces of this clinic's failings, I dread to think what might have happened.

I would certainly not recommend this place, I had a semen analysis done almost a month ago, they suggested I will get the results in a week to two weeks. It’s been almost a month and after emailing on the web portal a few times nobody has still got back to me. I rang today and was told that the lab nurses will look in to it. After all that still no joy. They are quick to grab your money but so laid back about the rest. DONT BOTHER

I had been with another clinic for almost two years without any joy before deciding to go to Manchester Fertility, and there was no comparison to the care and service given to me by them. I was lucky enough to conceive with Manchester Fertility at the second attempt and now have a beautiful baby daughter. So many things for all ages to do We had the bonus of the robots display as it was the beginning of half term. Food was ok though we only had from the sandwich section and no hot, though there seemed to be a good variety. Average prices for food. Large play area upstairs for younger children to interact with, play and build. Age 7 and above can also do mini experiments in a lab which my daughter enjoyed. My kids still have their junk model robots they made two weeks on.

This place is just amazing. So many activities to keep the kids entertained that are fun while being educational. We saw the dinosaur exhibition which didn't disappoint. My 7 year old loved the 4d ride and extracting DNA in the lab. My 4 year old when asked what was her favourite bit replied 'I don't know, it was all amazing'. Food in the cafe was very nice and reasonably priced. A great day out.

Quite expensive but you can spend all day there if you choose, there's loads to see and do. We went for the robotics exhibit and it was brilliant! The kids absolutely loved it. It's £36 for a family day ticket, if you think you'll be there a few times a year then there's a years family membership for 90 odd pound.

Daughter was overdosed due to medication sheet not clear enough. Before this, on the last two occasion's my daughter has been in the children's ward and the first time she was given someone else's medication and the second time she was not given the right amount of medication. My daughter was made out to be stupid when I informed the nurse dealing with the care of my daughter! I have also been a witness to some of the nursing staff talking about other members of staff and patients. ADVICE Stay with your child if you can!!!

Terrible experience I had here when I suffered an injury. Staff were very rude, nurse was very grumpy and said I was fine when I clearly wasnt. I was also sent to physio and the man try to make out that there was nothing wrong with me and that I was prentending my symptoms. If i was treated like this, I wonder what other patients are treated like.

Mum admitted on Wednesday afternoon,I phoned repeatedly Wednesday night to be told each time that she was not a patient. After finally verification from my sister who was with her on ward,I tried to phone hospital on Thursday after 3 switchboard & 25 minutes on hold as no-one answering in admissions an operator bypassed & put me straight through to cardiac where once through a lovely nurse did try to connect me with my mum only to be cut off & having to start again.maybe less technology & more actual people might help.

Husband was I'll and taking into ninewells hospital and although it was a long day waiting on results it made us appreciate the hard work and care for the staff and some difficult cases they have to deal and the patience they need. One staff nurse was on after 6pm by herself and she had a lot of people to deal with. Just wanted to let the people in charge know they need to recruit a lot more staff and appreciate the ones they have.

Unfortunately I had the need to be admitted by ambulance to A &E last week. I was seen promptly and efficiently by a number of staff and treated professionally and personally. the tests and examinations were carried out in good time and I felt well treated and looked after. Unfortunately I cannot remember the names of the staff involved but they were all kind, understanding and efficient in a very pressurised environment. I thank them all and trust their superiors will see this. Thank you.

Fantastic every step of the way, from the consultants, Drs, nurses and even the finance team! We never felt pressured in to making decisions and all our questions were answered clearly and sensitively. Because of the team at Oxford we have a beautiful little girl after 5 years of waiting, which would not have been possible without them. There was no financial pressure and we were never pushed in to buying extras like a lot of other clinics I have heard about. I would absolutely reccomend the clinic to anyone considering ivf.

So far my experience hasn't been very positive. To say they are getting the funding for this I am having to do all the ground work and liaise between hospitals asking for information Oxford Fertility haven't previously asked me for (My IVF consultant is very disorganised) and if I didn't ring up to check progress I imagine years would go by before they realised I hadn't actually had treatment. They never ring to say we now have this information, can you do this etc. I am constantly having to chase for what needs to be done. (and that keeps changing because it's not been chased up earlier) Already a stressful time, made worse by poor communication and lack of organisation.

Went here when I fractured my ankle and so tore a ligament. It was clean and tidy in the waiting room, and I was seen for the Triage after about 20 minutes and then was having an X ray after about another hour. The whole time there was under 2 1/2 house and I felt happy with the care and attention given. Hopefully I won't need to come back here again, but I felt comfortable with my time here.

I wouldn't even give 1 star if that was an option. Still waiting for a surgery date for my 6yr old son after original meeting with surgeon back in february. 10/11 weeks later i called to chase a date and was told hed "forgotten" to refer us. Finally saw 2nd surgeon mid june and told 1st lot of surgery would be 6-8 weeks later. 5 weeks later still no date and more calls by myself results in being told we are looking at October for 1st surgery. Discusting service, appalling patient care and no consideration for the stress and upset the catalgue of error by QMC has caused.

I was given excellent care when I tumbled down some steps and suffered a broken nose, fractured wrist , dislocated finger and a tooth knocked out. Pam F, Naomi and others put me back together again and made sure that I had all the necessary x-rays, tests, CT scan, etc, dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's. All possible 'hidden' extra complications were explored to make sure I hadn't suffered a skull fracture or any other broken bones. Despite being very busy they were caring and highly efficient. No-one wants to go to A&E but they were very good.

Both babies delivered with no problems. Midwifes were very helpful but I would advise all new mums to read a bit about Labour as some I saw looked like they didn't know what for they came to the hospital. More prepared you are less care you need and less stressed you are.

Where do I start. I came here to be induced with my 1st baby when I was 2 days overdue as babys growth slowed. I went in at evening time could barely walk lol but was left waiting on a fold down chair for 45 minutes before anyone appeared. I do suffer from bad anxiety but I'm pretty co operative and polite with people. I finally put onto a induction suite with other women. Midwife who greeted me noticed the anxiety mentioned in notes and started treating me as if I were stupid. I had my partner with me as did other girls there. I'd barely been induced and they sent my partner home at 11 as it was night yet let the girl next to me have her partner stay until about 2. No one showed me were the nurse buzzer was either so when I when my waters broke a few hours after my partner had left I couldnt get anyones attention and had to sit in agony and wet for 15 mins. Finally a midwife came past and I told her, quickly transferred to a delivery room and was quite abrupt with me, I'm only 20 and it was my 1st so I was kind of scared. To sum it up, my partner almost missed the birth as they wouldnt call him when i begged them too, midwife kept shouting at me for "moving too much" and after baby was born I was quickly shoved into a bathroom and told to freshen up and be quick about it even though I kept passing out, then wheeled to the postnatal ward..barely checked on, and treated like I was stupid, and kept in for almost a week because no one bothered to do the correct checks in order for me to go home. While othees on my ward were being allowed to bath their baby I kept asking and so did my partner but they kept promising us then not mentioning it again. I appreciated the food each day but they are so understaffed and I feel some are prejudice against young mums.

Our 3 year journey hasn’t been easy, after a miscarriage in 2012 and a failed IVF cycle in 2013, but with the help of RHG, the missing piece of our jigsaw finally arrived in 2015 in shape of baby Oscar. Without the help, support and expertise of the team at RHG, particularly in the early stages of our pregnancy, we wonder whether we’d have Oscar with us today. We particularly appreciated the short notice appointments and the fact that when we had a concern we were invited in for a scan the same day to put our minds at ease. The expert knowledge of the team coupled with the facilities, which have to be seen to be believed, were very reassuring throughout what is a typically stressful period. We can’t thank Luciano and the team at RHG enough, we will be eternally grateful.

Wonderful staff and excellent quality of care. Although the media tends to paint NHS hospitals as third world hospitals, this was far from the experience I had during my recent admission to A&E. After an extremely short waiting time, I was given a bed, hooked up to various monitoring systems, had an X-Ray taken, and had blood tests along with results done within just a couple of hours of arriving. The nurses were extremely professional, attentive and kind throughout my stay. A huge thank you to all the staff that continue to make this place so great, and provide this excellent service.

My daughter has suffered with kidney problems and to complicated / upsetting to say everything. But laying on the floor in agony and time it took on many occasions was disgusting to have her seen too. Follow up after last time never happened. Shes has scarring on her kidneys and this started at 15 years old with cysts. Recently one of my granddaughters suffered migraine , which I new. She's suffered before and first thing was meningitis. Ok good that was checked. This week she's suffered again . 5 visits with medical staff and no one new it was migraine and she still has headache constipated and not right. Hospital sent her home each time. Still not right and waiting to see if she gets worse again. Sorry to say we need them but lots of wrong diagnosis and or no idea. Im a carer for many years and ive been there with a resident with dementia and i had no support at all in a situation to help me give personal care. They where to busy and that involved talking between themselves. I'm sorry but unfortunately it's true with unfortunate experience s. I don't believe it's only being over stretched. I m only telling as it was .

I had an appointment today at the Royal Surrey Hospital at 2.30pm I was their half hour early to make sure I had time to find parking!! Made arrangements for my children for when I was at my appointment, re scheduled work only to be driving around the car park for almost an hour try to find parking, seeing several ppl just sitting in their cars, taking up spaces of ppl who have appointment booked. Called the hospital whilst still trying to find a parking space only to be told that I would need to reschedule as they would no longer be able to see me!! I AM ABSOLUTELY APPALLED With the hospital’s conduct in this matter and their parking infrastructure. Unbelievable!! I have been to St. George’s hospital many times for my sons appointments and when their has been this sort of situation, they always oblige to help and ask to come in once found parking space and wait until the Doctor can see us!!

My labor progressed very fast from that point and from 2 cm I went straight to 7cm. At 8 cm I was transfered to labow ward and handed to very nice midwife. She offered gas and air and allowed to birth in a standing position as it was only position I could.handle the pain. So pishing stage was very long and she called in a doctor who performed vontuse and got the baby out. Apparently Pethadin made baby little bit letargic and she did not try to come out. After care was great food was amazomg. It was 2.5 years ago but I still have good memories. Now I live in different area and worried about giving birth in that hospital. I abserved that staff is very rude and busy in my new hospital......totally opposite to friendly and helpful.staff of Surrey Royal

The maternity wards in particular are absolutely fantastic!! After I gave birth there the second time the midwife brought in a plate of snacks for myself and partner and made us all tea! They gave us a big hug and sent us off to the ward. Theses women were human, they shared my experience with me. I don't like it when people get to personal (you know when the waiter wants to be apart of your night out) but these women were amazing, they were there for me 100% and so attentive and supportive. The hospital helped me after being turned away from St. Peters and also dealt with my generalised anxiety disorder amazingly, never got annoyed or frustrated with me and are just perfect. I would recommend this hospital without a shadow of a doubt. The doctors are also so amazing. They sit down next to you, take their time, explain things fully. I never felt like they thought they were better then me. They are attentive and caring. Exceptional staff at this place.

I was under the care of the Fertility Team more than 7 years ago now and everyday I am thankful for their friendliness, help, support and understanding throughout the procedure. I now have the most precious child in my life who is fast approaching 7. Without the help of the team he would not be a part of my life.

Charlatans is what I describe BMI Shirley, these warning letters I keep getting from yourselves surely is illegal, stating bailiffs will come round to my house or I will be summoned to court for failing to attend a appointment as a result of incurring a incorrect charge of £55 (I simply rearranged my appointment for the week after and paid the fee on the day of around £150 but due to staff admin errors has highlighted me as missing a appointment resulting in a penalty fee). Believe you me I have tried ringing, emailing, speaking to BMI and collection services but not one person is capable of resolving my issue as they say the decision comes from the director of BMI Shirley and the only way of resolving this is by emailing her? I have tried emailing the director a few times but no replies, this has been going on for 3 years now and the letters keep getting more aggressive, what a way to treat one of your customers. I want to know where these customer penalty fees go to, it's obvious to me from reading other reviews that this happens quite often. This is outrageous, is this what you do? You prey on the weak, ill and elderly? And scare these people to paying nonsense incorrect penalties?

My experience at Shirley Oaks was great. I was an NHS patient having a left inguinal hernia repair and after reading the reviews online I was apprehensive at the thought of attending this hospital. The staff i encountered were extremely helpful. The receptionist, nurses, cafe staff and the surgeons. All very professional. When I had my consultation, it was very fast and over with within 5 minutes. I felt that wasn't enough time to get my head around things and ask the Dr questions, However, he was amazing and has done a great job. Thank you. I would recommend this hospital as I have experienced nothing but care, attentiveness and a willingness to be helped by the staff here. One again, thank you.

Good facilities, food and waiting time for treatment via private healthcare. Day nurses were however disappointing. One nurse was especially rude whenever asked questions and rarely checked-in to ask if the patient was ok after undergoing a major surgery. The consultant did a good job but only provided an explanation/summary of quite a major operation after being promoted. On that basis, I would only recommend this hospital as a lower-mid tier private health care option.

Consultation that gave us no answers and failed test results. Were told we would NOT be invoiced and ended up receiving an invoice and told if we didn't pay, the bailiffs would come to our house. Appalling, rude and disrespectful service/follow-up. "Rude staff" seems to come up quite a lot on the reviews for this hospital.

NHS it is not any more what it uses to be. Many times quality of care is poor because of some nurses which are coming to work only to pass the time.... then having facilities such as ones in the picture: baby changing toilet without support for baby... or toilet with one sink but two soap dispensers. There is no use of sense at all.

I recently had a hysterectomy under Mr Edi-Osage 1 week ago. I can honestly say the care given from the the pre admission girls(Courtney) who was absolutely fabulous to the anaesthetist. I think her name was Kathryn. To all the nurse throughout my procedure. Abd of course my consultant for doing an amazing job we’re absolutley brilliant. Their care was second to none. They are so under staffed but still manage to do a brilliant job. Tizzy abd emma I think she was called my staff nurses who looked after me on the ward and the nursing assistants were amazing too. I think credit and praise should be shown to these amazing nurses and doctors for what they do Day in, day out. Thank you all for your care. Kerrie Walsh. 💕😀

After a long and traumatic experience of childbirth elsewhere, we entered the last stage of pregnancy with some trepidation. Come the day, we arrived at St Mary's at around 3am, quickly checked in to the Midwifery Led Unit (Ward 47), and given a clean, well equipped and comfortable room. A few hours later, we were holding a happy and healthy baby boy, birthed in a pool. I can't speak highly enough for the friendly, professional and caring staff that cared for us, and the 100% positive experience we had in our time there. Amazing. Thank you x

I had a consultation with a Dr A J Pool at the BMI Esperance in Eastbourne in May17 and after 6 months of physio. Dr Pool was able to review an MRI I had done and give me an injection into my hip which whilst painful for two days afterwards left me able to walk and do chores normally after more or less being incapable of doing anything for six months. I had a follow-up a few weeks later and all was good. More than six months on all still good. Great hospital and great service. I look forward to using them again if needed.

Great service for multiple surgeries and post-surgery care. However, every single time I call the MRI department I am dealt with by the same receptionist who is rude and abrupt, before being cut short on the call. I then have to call back on the main number and waste another staff members time. 4 times now.

I just wanted to write to thank each and every one of you for looking after me so beautifully yesterday (Room 205). From the wonderful smiley receptionist when I arrived, to the young lady that took me to my room …. The nursing staff were just amazing, they were all so busy but I never once felt I was forgotten or they did not have time to look after me. Please thank the anaesthetist who took such great care of me, as last time I had a bad experience of a general anaesthetic, and he was so caring and put me at ease, and I woke up totally fine after my operation. Sam Rajaratman is the nicest, kindest Consultant I have ever met, and Sharon his secretary is brilliant .. I think I am running out of superlatives to use now! If, and I hope not (but all for the right reasons) I have to have another surgery then I would be only coming back to your hospital and my one wish is that everyone that looked after me yesterday would be there again when I came back in. Team GB in Rio are winning lots of medals, but in my eyes, you all deserve Gold medals in Eastbourne for your care. Thank you again, and I hope you all get to read this email as I can’t thank you all enough. Kate Digweed Room 205

I cannot recommend the Agora highly enough. From the start, to the end of the treatment, our care was wonderful. Each step of the process is carefully explained, and the clinic staff are always available to support and advise as needed. Each and every person we spoke to at the clinic was caring, professional and friendly- in particular, i felt that the kindness and care shown to us by Mel was exceptional, she really did go above and beyond to ensure our experience was a positive one. The treatments are fairly priced in our opinion and we found the staff approachable, and very willing to discuss all options, possibilities and ideas. It’s a beautiful, clean clinic and a place where you feel instantly at ease. I am very grateful to the Agora and can safely say that booking that first appointment truly changed my life!

Our treatment at the Agora has made a very hard subject much more manageable and our whole journey has been tailored to us. Before the Agora we didnt have much hope but the possibilities, treatment and staff are all outstanding. Thanks to the amazing team of nurses, drs, specialists and so on. Our son is one in a million! We will never be able to thank you guys enough for your continued support and help through our battle and know you guys will continue to make dreams come true for other couples. Thank you so much, Megan and Stuart xxx

Awful clinic and completely agree with the other review on here. Please avoid this place, there are much better clinics out there like Fertility Associates and Esperance. Staff completely lacking in any empathy or understanding, it is only a business to them. If you don't understand something however simple they seem it to be, you are labelled as "stupid". The doctor who treated me is extremely unpleasant and callous in tone. The practice manager isnt much better either. If you complain about anything or highlight any mistakes that have been made, seemingly goes against you, you are blamed and they even cancel all your treatment! Which I would have thought goes against all their ethics or not! Wish I never choose this clinic, was a terrible error of judgement, one that I now deeply regret. I'm writing this as I don't wish anyone to have the same horrible experience as me.

As with many couples, ARGC was our last chance after failed treatments elsewhere. They take a personalised tailored approach to each patient. You are constantly monitored and you should expect a lot of blood tests, scans and drugs. Not cheap, but if you want results, I’d recommend ARGC over other clinics.

After being treated in 5 clinics I will rate this the best. Don't be put off by the number of blood tests, they are extremely accurate and monitor very close your cycle. You won't find any other clinic that take blood at 7 in the morning on Christmas day. Patients here are priority and have all my respect for that. If you work they are very flexible compared to other clinics, you can have blood tests and scans done very early morning. The only down side there is a long waiting list and there is a bit of selection, but I was accepted even had low chances. Prices are like any other clinic and the overall cost for 1 cycle is a little higher just because you are monitored closely, in other clinics you will spend the same amount having had a few cancelled cycles and wasted your money. I didn't find the staff rude at all or at least no more than any other clinic, but everyone was extremely efficient and professional.

I wish they treated people better. They make you feel like cattle. Why not spend some of the bags if money and invest in a computerised system with set appointment times and a decent waiting room so that women at the clinic are treated better.
Julie
Julie
The main issue is with how they treat people. You are just a number. You wait 30 min to 1 hour for a scan, they don’t try to speed things up or optimise, they don’t care. You never get privacy when speaking about your situation, it’s always in front of 5 other people waiting by the front desk. The morning of my egg collections, one of the nurses yelled at me because 1 page in my file was not filled in. The first day I collected the meds, no one had told me I would get a large bag full of meds which I had to take with me to a conference in Canary Wharf.

PLEASE AVOID THIS CLINIC I've applied to be an egg donor for altruistic reasons. I wasn't aware the clinic makes a fortune on donated eggs but that's ok, it's a private clinic after all. I was greeted by the doctor who hugged me, told me what wonderful support they will give me and what an amazing person I was to be a donor. Fast forward to the scan - turns out one of my ovaries is really small and I cannot be a donor cause the clinic cannot squeeze enough eggs out of me to make good business. This is where the pleasant phase ended - I was pretty much kicked out on the street with a leaflet that I should freeze my remaining eggs for 25K £. Needless to say I was devastated emotionally as I never worried about my fertility before. Greedy despicable people. I went for a private scan today to a different clinic, everything is fine with me. I just wasn't a cash cow for the Bridge Centre. If you're reading this I'm sure you are desperate to have a baby. Please choose a different clinic that actually respects people.

I would recommend The Bridge Centre. You must be aware that for some treatments the physical treatment is split between The Bridge Centre and Harley Street (which was not a problem at all for us). We liked the fact that we had a single point of contact throughout out treatment (Sharon Walster) who we could contact with queries. Sharon always got back to us very quickly with any queries we had (we had quite a few never having been through this before) and was very empathetic. The only criticism I would have is that at times we did feel we were simply on a treadmill of patients and we had to chase up for information. The full process was explained to us in detail at the start but we did get lost a few times as the whole thing took many months. Given the number of nurses etc we did not always see the same medical staff but the ones we did have were lovely.

We've had our IUI treatment in this centre. It's amazing how unprofessionally it has been all handled. I arrived for one of the scans to see if i am ready for the treatment and the head nurse said that they've missed my ovulation and it would be a waste of money to have this done that day so i would have to try to have the treatment next month instead. i was quite upset considering this is something the other centres normally control monitoring their patients closely. I went home and got a call from a nurse later that day saying that doctor thinks its still a good time to have the IUI done. Even though i was doubtful about that because the information from the Head Nurse was very different in a morning, i still had it done that day around 5pm (which is also not recommended by professional fertility centres, it is normally done in a morning or early afternoon). The treatment was unsuccessful. In a month time we went to see the doctor recommended by our friends (in a different centre). He explained how the IUI treatment is normally done and we were shocked! Bridge centre failed to do the absolute standard procedure: no injection to prevent to ovulate too early, no trigger injection, they didn't even tell me to have a rubella vaccination before the treatment which is necessary in this country if you ever had one (and i even had the test done so they were very well aware of it). Wasted 3000 pounds in total. I wish i never had this experience with the Bridge centre.

I would be careful using this clinic . I was almost made to feel I was being convinced I had something which subsequent and expensive tests have proved I didn't have.i also had to chase for the result. It is important to treat people as individuals. If women are going through this emotional experience then a greater degree of sensitivity is required . Another review said cold and I would agree this was my experience.

We really could not understand the bad reviews. We have been with them for a few years and despite the failed cycles we have finally made it and we owe our beautiful angel to Crgh. We have always been treated with care and compassion and we always felt the team made their best efforts to get us through. From the call centre , the embryology and the nursing team everyone has been wonderful and we would recommend them to all our friends . Special thank you to Dr Saab and Gerry his lovely kind secretary, the theatre team that made us feel at ease before and after our procedures, always with a smile on their face , the embryology team that walked us through all the details from the moment our daughter was just a tiny cell. we would not hesitate to go back . Thank you all !

I can’t rate them highly enough! Our journey was a tough one until we were recommended CRGH by a friend whose treatment had been successful. From the moment we arrived at the old building in Greys Inn Road we were greeted by friendly and supportive staff. Finally we felt positive. Through out the treatment staff and doctors were professional supportive friendly and approachable and they really tried to do everything they could. Our first attempt was successful and we had a beautiful baby boy who is now 4 and keeps us on our toes. Crgh really do tailor to your individual needs. This clearly works in most cases! This year we decided to go through it again this time in the new building at Great Portland Street. Dr Saab was fantastic and developed a plan again tailored to our individual needs. He was friendly and easy going and it was clear he took pride in his work and really wanted the best outcome for his clients. Again we went through the treatment process with ease. Coming from Devon was a challenge itself but they tried to accommodate us in the best way which made the process stress free and easy. Again we have been successful and expect our new baby in January 2019. There is a high price to pay but you can’t put a price on a baby and every penny was worth it. My particular case was challenging in itself and I really believe if we had gone anywhere else we wouldn’t have been so fortunate and blessed. They really do tailor to your individual needs and they have provided my husband and I and my family a perfect family. Another lady called Chaza Zidane who we dealt with when going through the scan part of the treatment process really is a credit to her profession and without her expertise and knowledge there is a good chance i may not have had this 2nd successful treatment. Thank you CRGH for everything you have done for us these past 5 years. There are No words to describe how grateful we are!! X

we decided to go wth this clinic because of the success rates for ivf icsi and ratings that this clinic had. We did have to think about this long and hard because we didn't live in the area. Which involved a lot of stress with traveling. Specifically in the first fresh ivf cycle and with appointments not always having a lot of notice. It Did mean that I had to take full days off work for appointments rather than just a few hours. But I do not regret my decision in the slightest, because I am currently 14 weeks pregnant, Only a year after my first consultation with them. I thank this greatly to the doctors and nurses and the whole team ofcorse.. but the real reason for the success I put down to the embriologosts at this clinic. They are top quality. Id be lying if I said I didn't have any hiccups throughout my journey, however what I can say is that they dealt with everything effeciently. The doctors and nurses were compassionate yet professional when I had a difficult and emotionally challenging time after my first cycle that resulted in pregnancy but sadly didn't progress past 8 weeks. My only criticisms would be that the appointments did seem rushed at times. Specifically nurse appointments. They do seem to be over worked and were late a lot of the time. I did also find the fact that your open at weekends, but only have an on call emergency number available and not the reception extremely inconvenient at times. However whenever I left voicemails for nurses they did respond within reasonable times. In the grand sceme of things.. those facts are minor and I would definately recommend this clinic to anybody considering fertility treatment. Thankyou CRGH

I have PCOS and 39years old. After finding out my egg count was deteriorating rapidly we decided to go through one round of IVF treatment. Staff were patient and professional esp our consultant. Sometimes the nurses were a bit too busy and resulted in a lack of communication but didn't however impact on our treatment. We undertook procedures prior to starting ivf at the advice of our consultant. I truly believe that these procedures made the difference to ensure the best possible chance of successful. After stimulation I only had 2 embryos that were viable which we implanted. So just wanted to provide comfort to anyone that it's about the quality and not the quantity of eggs. We conceived first time and our son was born in May. So the odds werent great for us but all worked out in the end.

The staff is very nice and helpful! I went to the A&E and didn’t have to wait more than an hour! An excellent district hospital in a demanding location. No parking and some aged buildings (as well as some new ones) but a positive atmosphere. Most staff and patients I've met seem to prefer this hospital to others in the general area.

I went to A&E on a Saturday afternoon, and although had a longish wait for triage, the rest happened quite quickly after that. I am a patient with complex chronic conditions, and the staff treated me humanely, listened and came up with an effective treatment plan which involved me being 'partly admitted' for a few hours to their Clinical Decision Unit - but I left in late evening, and all staff I encountered from the lovely doctor in my care to the nursing staff, porters and cleaners were all extremely nice. I have been to many A&E's of late, but this has been by far the most positive experience I have had in a long time, and achieved something from it. Well done Whittington!

Ambulatory service: I have been back and fourth to this hospital a lot the last few weeks and the level of care I have received has been wonderful. The checks have been thoroughly done and I have been treated as a person and not a patient. The staff have kept me in the loop with my results and have been attentive to my needs and symptoms. I am very satisfied with this hospital and I admire the great work these NHS staff provide.

Both doctors and nurses were patient and understanding, I got into examination within an hour (all together spent there three because we were waiting for all the test results), at some point some tea and buscuits were offered to those who have been waiting for long. The only downside was that it is very crowded, the space itself is too small.

One main thing if you take your medication in with you, I was told mine was out of date when it wasn't. If there are any drugs left in your boxes it is rare you get them to take back with you. I found I had to get a new prescription from my GP once I came out and that can be dangerous for an epileptic.

Just had a hip replacement at the hospital. More like staying in a hotel rather than a hospital. Staff friendly and very efficient from surgeon down to cleaners. In and out in 24 hours and really well looked after. Too many people are too eager to denigrate our N H S but personal experience indicates that this hospital is at the top of its game. Well done and any thanks to all the staff for looking after me so we'll.

We had a great experience here - had a personality clash with the first doctor we saw but then had a great consultant, saw him for every visit (unlike other reviews on this site) and had success. Yes, the wait times can be long but it had a nice feel to it. Also, from what I've heard they are a lot more relaxed in terms of their approach outside of the medicine - they told me to relax and live my life as normally as possible which was great, no strange diets or yoga poses!

I had to go for some treatment to the Lister Clinic and had the misfortune of being treated by Dr James Nicopoullos. I have never come across anyone in a caring profession so rude, arrogant and unpleasant to deal with. A whole raft of complaints at every encounter with him. The Lister is one of the most expensive fertility clinics in the country and one would expect higher quality consultants than Dr Nicopoullos who show a little more empathy towards their clients. I recommend anyone shop around and read the other reviews online about him (some of the positive ones are quite clearly fake, one written by a colleague). Other women in the waiting room I spoke to had similar experiences with him. It would be 0 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs.

Poor administration, poor communication, for me poor results. Hidden costs and poor continuity of care. Wish that I had gone to Czech Republic for treatment.

We had several rounds of IVF at the Lister a few years ago and were lucky enough to have a son in 2011. We had not clicked with out first consultant and a benefit of the Lister is that there are several doctors and consultants so we were able to change to Alison Taylor who we cannot fault as she is professional, calm and empathetic. The surgery staff were all kind and caring as were the vast majority of the nurses. I really liked having the same sonographer at every appointment too and felt I was kept in the loop at every stage. The process does feel rather like being on a conveyor belt - hard to avoid when so many people are being treated in one place. The facilities were clean and tidy and although my appointments sometimes started late the waiting times were not excessive in my experience, it kind of comes with the territory when you're in a hospital environment. I would definitely recommend the Lister to anyone who found a consultant there specialising in the right area of fertility for them and even more so if they lived within easy travelling distance as you have to travel back and forth quite a bit during treatment.

My wife and I met Dr Mahmoud Tolba at the Lister Fertility about a year ago. We had exhausted our three rounds of IVF with the NHS. We were pretty exhausted ourselves and we were low on hope with regards to the prospect of being able to have our own children. The way Dr Mahmoud Tolba listened and then spoke to us was so positive. It was full of common sense, doses of reality but also doses of hope. We had one frozen embryo left and we were looking where to go to give that embryo a shot at life - outside the NHS. Because of our meeting with Mahmoud we chose the Lister Fertility Clinic. We left our meeting with him that day full of positivity and renewed hope that we had not yet come to the end of the road with our journey to have our own child. So, I am now very proud and pleased to tell you that the procedure was a success and we now have a beautiful baby daughter! She is 1 month old. Massive thanks to Dr Mahmoud Tolba and the entire team at LFC. I can't recommend them enough.

London Women's Clinic - Brentwood: Very disappointing. Only after we went to another fertility clinic in London, did we realise just how bad our experience was. At our first consultation to review our test results, the consultant kept skirting over the known fertility and gynae issues we both already had as a couple. It was then suggested that we attempt a trial implantation with a catheter which they failed to do. They suggested I may have stenosis of the cervix which was preventing them accessing my cervix (which turned out was not true). The whole exercise came across as rushed and being quite frank, bungled. Everyone in the room seemed nervous and I had no idea who were nurses and who were receptionists, as no one was in uniform or even in aprons while they attempted this procedure. After this they were keen to walk me through their price list which seemed to have more attention than diagnosing our infertility. I left the clinic sore, bruised and completely disheartened - and actually questioning whether I could go ahead with IVF altogether. Thankfully, our new clinic has been great and we are now on our journey.

My partner and I began the ivf process sept 2016 after research of different clinics & proceedures. We opted for LWC at Canterbury for the initial consultation. We found them to be helpfull & professional throughout. We followed all the instructions given, I had no problem at any stage with any of the tests, medication or appointments. We used donor eggs due to my age (50). We are now the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl, who is almost four months old. We hope to repeat the process again as we have 2 frozen embryos stored. Yes, ivf costs a fortune, it is a strenuous experience, it is time consuming and can fail/have complications. Research before you undergo any treatment. Thanks to LWC for all their support

Medical teams and support staff are excellent but i dread calling this hospital and speaking to the administration staff, those in the cashiers department in particular. Appalling phone manner and absolutely no inclination to help. If you don't go away quickly they develop an attitude which is adversarial and belittling. Aren't they there to help us? Apparently not.

Former Patient at Auchi Dialysis department & now Renal Outpatients. Unbelievable one-to-one care by the nurses & healthcare assistants. A wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding of the complexities of the comprehensive umbrella that is Renal failure and it's after affect and reaction which runs in parallel by the consultants. All other members of staff which complete Hammersmith Hospital were plesent and always keen to assist in any way they could. All of the above is undertaken on a relative shoe-string budget which without doubt has a direct affect on these members of staff. The Trust need to focus their attentions on engaging on key members of staff when identifying areas of the business to improve and other areas to reduce funding. I have witnessed many areas which require attention to improve the efficiency of the business and reducing the lost man-hours. A large push on permanent recruitment needs to be spear-headed from the top of the trust down to the wards and department where they are required the most. This drive would without question, hesitation or restructuring would be an easy route to save money due to reduction on agency workers. The new prospective permanent members of staff would add not just economic value, but more stability and efficiency to the wards and departments which they will be posted at. Well done to everyone involved.

I have a rare health condition that has seriously impacted my life and have seen numerous specialist at different hospitals in the UK, some are very well known. I had almost completely given up any hope of finding help for my condition, however I believe that I have finally gotten to see a specialist here that my possibly be able to help me. The hospital is large and complex in its layout, and very busy, however the staff that I dealt with were all very friendly and helpful and able to guide me to the places within the hospital that I needed to get to, such as blood tests, pharmacy and consulting rooms. Hopefully things will work out positively for my condition now that after many years I believe that I may have finally found the right specialist/consultant.

Inhuman. Incredibly rude staff - I’ve never in my life encountered anything like that. When I asked the receptionist how long I will have to wait she responded “probably all night”, when I was waiting from 7pm. I did actually had to wait for an extra hour or so but this behaviour is profound.

In this hospital none of the departments will pick the phone up. When you try to call them you are in fact speaking to a call centre who are not based at the hospital and when they try to transfer you to any department their departments never pick the phone or answer emails. This is my local hospital but i feel i don't have access to this hospital as NHS patient, over the past few years getting access has been more and more difficult even thought you have already been referred or are an ongoing patient. Good luck to anyone who needs post surgery care at this hospital or trying to book a follow up appointment.

Have visited the Minor Injuries unit a number of times and they are Great! There isn't a very long queue, the staff are well trained and even when exceptionally busy, they are still warm and welcoming (with the exception of one nurse on one occasion, but that could have been a really bad day). A very good but under utilised resource in the area.

If you are looking for an egg donor, please read and take into consideration the following: Once I signed up to become and egg donor, from my first initial query right to the very last communication, I had to chase Wessex for an update. After every test, every consolation... Everything! Information provided was minimal and communication internal and external - Terrible. After 6 months of waiting/chasing for updates, chasing for test results and being told on serval occasion that they were now ready and/or finding me a match, I suddenly receive a letter (of all forms of communication!) Telling me that I could not donate. To say that I was heartbroken would be an understatement - After being told so many times it would go ahead, apparently they 'forgot' to test me for something and when they did, it turns out something within my genetics meant that if I donated and the potential receiving parents had the same thing, it could cause complications. After asking multiple times, they never did clear up if I can't donate or if they just didn't want to screen potential parents to ensure my genetics wouldn't cause a problem. I hate to be negative, especially when surrounding such a sensitive topic but I feel I need to be honest about my experince. I would have loved to have been able to give this gift and while its not necessarily Wessex's fault that I am unable too, they unfortunately made this whole process extremely lengthy, painful and a lot more difficult than ever necessary! It took over 6 months for Wessex to finally come to the decision of no. I'm sure a lot of people considering to donate would have given up sooner than that and I genuinely hope that after this experience that Wessex will change the way they treat people that are trying to do something out of the kindness of their hearts.

I would not recommend this facility in Poole. While the procedures were carried out in Southampton satisfactorily the attention to detail in poole was poor. If the consultant had been more thorough with my wife's blood test results before embarking on an expensive and invasive protocol none of it would have been necessary. We did not get a baby because my wifes thyroxine levels were not right. The monitoring and adjusting of these was left up to us and was not double checked before protocol began. Dissatisfied, we got a second opinion in Dorchester with r Dooley who immediately spotted a problem with the hormone therapy my wife was under and referred to a specialist in London. Between them and my wife's GP they got the hormones where they should be at minimal expense and we conceived naturally. So in summary Wessex are very good at up selling techniques but not good at ensuring that you have the best chance of success. Go elsewhere in my opinion.

Faultless medical attention, kept informed and treated with upmost care and professionalism just wanted to say thank you . PARKING SCAM. Be very warned indeed. Visited this hospital out of visiting hours and got turned away. Returned later with a bag to drop off for my extremely poorly sister who was pregnant. After a month or so I received a fine from Parking Eye stating I had been parked for hours without leaving. I have emailed Gary, Charlotte, Parking Eye & now BBC Watchdog. I've been treated appallingly with no ticket cancellation. Parking Eye are now taking me to the small claims court. Awful, awful hospital.

My heartfelt thanks to the wonderful YDH staff - and thank you beloved NHS for keeping on looking after us, whatever we come in with, whenever we appear day or night, however long it takes. I came into A&E early Saturday morning 6/1/18 with this flu virus going around which had set my gallstones off causing excruiciating pain.. The ambulance staff were very nice and reassuring, friendly, caring and humane. Although due to it being very quiet I was seen straight away, my A&E experience was totally different. Having been given intravenous morphine to control the pain I was discharged after 4 hours or so. Most of the A&E team didn't even acknowledge me as a person. There was no compassion, no friendly smile, caring consideration. Total deadpan. Once the pain was under control they discharged me at 8am. I said there was no way I was ready to leave and go walking alone through Yoevil to find the bus station. I came in on a stretcher and could hardly sit up. My partner and daughter were sick at home, and we had all been up all night and the nurses knew that. I asked if I could rest somewhere for a couple of hours until I was more stable. The head nurse came and told me in a no nonsense way that I had to leave the building. I was totally appalled by this, and in disbelief staggered off toward reception. There I stopped in an empty waiting room where i slumped in a chair to rest against the wall. Within about 15 minutes a security guard was sent to escort me from the building. Actually he was very civil and I could see he had to do his job and he was helpful taking me to get medication and direct me to the bus station. The A&E was virtually empty and I feel this was totally neglectful to send me out with flu and heavily medicated on foot on a January winter morning. I am absolutely appalled by this treatment. In retrospect I could have called somebody to collect me but I was heavily sedated and couldn't think straight besides it being early morning. If this is hospital policy.... I'm totally shocked and disgusted. Having looked through the other reviews I can clearly see this is a repeating situation. Just terrible, I will never go there again. Get it together what does a little care cost you...
